So you want the post tags to appear there. That is not possible at the moment. In the coming theme updates there will be options to position the post elements differently in the post page. So for example placing the post tags below the post title will be an easy task.

If you want to do that now, you will have to make modifications to the post template file and maybe some additional CSS. These are some similar topics

Is there any option so that I can move the “more articles box” from the right bottom of the screen to the left bottom of the screen? In the right side, it is hiding my advertisements. If I can move it to the left side, user engagement can also be maintained as well as ads can also be served.

Thanks

1. Yes, but now my question is : how can I remove this ugly black space ? https://www.screencast.com/t/FSWcsPhU
Adding a height or a negative margin-bottom to the last element of the footer causes this issue with anchors.

2. Did you try with Theme panel > Multipurpose > Header settings > Main menu > ACTIVE/HOVER STYLES > Style 2 – Underlined ?
Anyway, I sent you an email.

3. Thank you !

6. I don’t understand. There is specific setting for the column title font in the theme panel, for multipurpose shortcodes.
Normally, from the Theme Panel > Multipurpose > Fonts > Titles, we can choose the default font, default size, default line-height, default style, default weight, default transform for XXSMALL, XSMALL UPPERCASE, SMALL, MEDIUM, BIG titles ; that applies to the whole website.
I am sure it is a problem of the theme.. because I can change the default font-size of XXSMALL, XSMALL UPPERCASE, SMALL and MEDIUM titles from the theme panel.. I have a problem just with big titles. It is not a big issue, but I just wanted to mention it to improve your theme. 🙂

That link is not working, it leads to a 404 page. SO by default when activated the speed booster plugin will move the theme stylesheet to the bottom of the page.
Default – https://www.screencast.com/t/hu9qpef5GyU
Speed booster active – https://www.screencast.com/t/B4h0Xhmw
If you want to modify the plugin so this does not happen, edit the plugin as mentioned
https://www.screencast.com/t/Fenm4OjA5t
Remove or comment that line of code
https://www.screencast.com/t/k9t6eL9BnKyn
Then check the page source again, maybe clear your cache before.

Hi,

1. The most recommended method would be by FTP
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
There could be a number of reasons why WordPress displays that message, even insufficient max upload size
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

2. Please check the theme requirements mentioned in the guide provided above. Those are the number one cause for this to happen, insufficient resources. If needed ask your hosting provider to increase those parameters.

3. There will be 3 columns with the widgets, but below the Instagram section
https://www.screencast.com/t/PBLMQPbQ
If you use footer template 1 this should have predefined widgets to display
https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
In your case it seems those default widgets are not displayed. Try changing the footer template and check if it displays properly. Make sure the footer is enabled
https://www.screencast.com/t/o1GfZHbMdfBG

4. That could be related to a plugin conflict or code entered in the theme panel. Those are the most common causes for image problems.
If you check on the bottom of the post the related articles/more from author section is also not working properly, the header search function is also not working.

Try to temporarily deactivate all non-theme plugins, check if this solves the problem. Let us know.

5. The admin bar is not controlled by the theme. Maybe you removed it by code previously or it is not enabled in your WordPress user profile settings

Hello AhoraRoma,

Try to use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.

.page-id-1169 .td-header-wrap, .page-id-1169 .td-footer-container, .page-id-1169 .td-sub-footer-container, .page-id-1169 .sd-sharing-enabled, .page-id-1168{
display:none;
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/RDAeHS6RqH The bottom section comes from such a plugin with this functionality like Jetpack or something like this and if you want to remove that section we recommend to disable that plugin and all of untested plugins.

Thanks for your understanding!

You guys need to add category tag color not just on post page but also on other pages such as the home page.

This was available in version 8.5 (https://imgur.com/89jVoqe) but not in version 8.7 (https://imgur.com/yPs4e11).

I’ve seen a lot of people asking this question but this functionality has since been removed and, in this case, it’s not a basic CSS fix. Note all the different classes on the bottom right of this image https://imgur.com/MPf58Vz. Good luck finding the correct class that affects only the category tag colour, and then when you assign a specific extra class to it, it doesn’t work.

Would be very helpful if you simply brought back this option in the next update.
Kind regards

Yesterday I had a envato webdesigner to install this script with the car blog theme. I adore it, it is fantastic. though I have some problems which the designer said I should contact the theme creators.

1. On bottom of script: about and contact buttons appear but they are only linked to a url like this: http://www.carnews-mag.com/# and when I try to find them on dashboard is impossible.
2. On right side of the script there is a social media box with facebook, instagram and youtube subscribers. I have been looking the deepest holes to find those buttons to remove their link and add my own links but no luck at all.

3. My google ads have add a code for floating ads at bottom of mobile version, is it possible in this theme to have that as well ?

I would appreciate an answer with the fixes because I am getting frustrated.

Thank you. Im halfway there 🙂

Big grid image is just fine after stretching, however, the bottom 5 posts (part of big grid 6) fails to stretch itself.

I removed the margin of it, but still no luck.
Please advise.

Hi,

1. The text font properties of most modules can be modified by editing the block
https://www.screencast.com/t/MC6Jn2ueMW

2/3 That padding and margin could be removed like this, also adds a different border
https://www.screencast.com/t/2gU3uc3lExW
You can modify the values as you wish

.td_block_17 .td_module_4,
.td_block_17 .td_module_8{
padding-bottom: 15px!important;
margin-bottom: 8px!important;
border-bottom: 2px solid red!important;
}

4. The date can be disabled in the theme panel

Hello,

I run an online fitness magazine and we like to use image gallery sliders that allow us to share images from another site (recipes for example) and link back to the content owner. So far it appears that this can’t be done with this slider as this slider only shows the images and there isn’t a way to add a link or add a caption about where to find the original recipe. Also, the caption appears in the bottom right hand corner of the image and some of the text is cut off. A few questions:

1. Is it possible to link images in the gallery to another site? If not, will this be updated in the future?
2. Can the caption be centered or moved to the left so that the text is not cut off?
3. Are there compatible plugins that can replace the existing slider with something more functional?

Hi,

Thank you for your appreciation. That would be the page padding bottom, you could remove it for the homepage if needed, enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS section
https://www.screencast.com/t/3JwopiTWaX

.home .td-main-content-wrap {
padding-bottom: 0;
}

Thanks

Hi,

Article ads are part of the post content, that would not be possible unless you try it in a different way. You will have to remove the article bottom ad spot and implement the ad in a different way. These are some similar topics where the ad has been added through a shortcode instead of theme ad spot
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/single-post-how-to-place-a-horizontal-banner-right-below-the-sharing-buttons/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-can-i-put-ads-between-post-title-and-social-share-button/
That way the ad could be controlled in terms of positioning in the post structure, you could try this if you consider it a solution.

Thanks

Hi,

for a while now I have two visual bugs with the Newspaper theme on my website which I cannot seem to solve:

1. Only in Firefox, the first image of the Big Grid 3 is not displayed properly. I always get an ugly grey area below the image. I have made sure that all required formats are activated in the theme panel and have recreated my thumbnails. Still, no success. It works fine in Chrome and Opera. Would you have any idea?

2. At the bottom of my articles in the section “Related articles”/”More from same author” there is a line covering the “Related Articles” heading. I have no idea where that came from. Can I remove it?

Thanks very much in advance for your help!

Kind regards,

Wolfgang

Hi, Simion C.

Оn the first and third my question I added the following code. At the moment it suits me.

.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-logo {
margin-top: 5px;
margin-left: -15px;
}
.td-header-style-1 .td-header-sp-recs {
margin-top: 7px;
}
.td-header-style-1.td-header-background-image .td-header-sp-recs,
.td-header-style-1.td-header-background-image .td-header-sp-logo {
margin-bottom: 7px;
}

2) About logo size – OK.

4) I removed the news ticker with TD Composer, but after, there was an empty column, which is not removed and the place between does not go away and the size around the block does not decrease?!
https://www.dropbox.com/s/6b5s9tje0goh6gr/td-composer.jpg

5) ОК. I did it, but how to change height of main menu?
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ko3hqkx0wg9axws/main-menu-height.jpg

6) ОК.

Thank you!

If i disable the author and date on the post / block setting it just leaves a black bar in the bottom of the picture.

See https://www.dropbox.com/s/yxies6rzx1bfwy6/Capture%20-%20Copy.PNG?dl=0

Any way to remove this ?

Ps. Why is it not possible to remove the category fields on block 22. The options stops on block 19. Just wonder – not a problem !!!

I’ve been trying to locate where I can edit the bottom of the page on the Newspaper theme but I can’t seem to find which template to edit. There is a lot of CSS in that area and I’m trying to remove a part.

Where can I edit it?

I’ve already checked footer.php but it’s not there.

Thanks!

Hello. My site is sanotes.ru and I use a “Tech News Demo” template. I have some questions about creating my own style of the header. Now I have established style 1.

1) I need a shift logo to the left side of the layout.
2) How to increase the logo height and width?
3) How do I remove space or reduce indentation between the top menu and the logo and bottom menu and logo?
4) How to remove the blog “In Trending now”, or to reduce the spacing between top menu and bottom block: Last Posts ?
5) How to invert the color of the bottom menu as it is implemented in Style 5,6 ?
6) How to increase the FEATURED IMAGE by height and width?

I duplicated everything I needed in the screenshot! https://www.dropbox.com/s/s9vqrsmnnuqwv87/screen1.jpg

Hello,

We have not tested tabbing through the site as this is not a standard user behavior. You cannot see anything when tabbing around except for the url at the bottom. The mobile menu is hidden from view and is not accessible otherwise. Please do not remove any code from the theme and ignore any tabbing issues as there is no implementation for ‘tabbing’ around. I will add this to our list and pass this info to our development team.

Thank you!

There already are source and via fields you can use
https://www.screencast.com/t/jPGttZak
These fields will be displayed at the bottom of the post, you can even set links for them. You could move them in the post structure if needed, this is a similar topic

Please can anyone explain how to remove these three categories from the footer. I think they are set in there by the theme. The bottom three are widgets that I have added but the top three I cannot seem to find in the widget section.

How do I get more support?

I removed .td-module-date but couldn’t add it to .td-excerpt
I also tried to change the bottom-border thickness but that just makes it taller, not shorter since borders will always extend the full length or width of the element.

Thanks

I am trying to get my posts to look more like the posts in this image.

I have gotten somewhat close, but I still need to add the divider ____ and also move the date down.

I appreciate any help. Here is my current CSS

/* Add Catagories Home Page Titles */
.home .td_module_4 .td-post-category {
position: relative!important;
background-color: transparent;
margin-right: 0;
padding-left: 0;
padding-right: 0;
text-transform: uppercase;
letter-spacing: 2px;
color: #c8a174;
margin-bottom: 2px;
font-size: 11px;
text-align:center;
font-weight:normal;
}

/* Centered Titles */
.td_module_4 .td-module-title,
.td_module_4 .td-module-meta-info{
text-align: center;
letter-spacing: 2px;
}

When the page reloads because they are moving to the next number on the list, I’d want them to stay on the list not move back to the top of the page. Otherwise everytime they count the list down, they have to scroll back to the bottom of the page to see the next item.

This limits the templates you can use as anything with a main image means a considerable scroll down. It also means you can’t have any lengthy introduction as again its a length scroll back down. Is there no way we can place a jump to point on the refresh?

I surely can’t be the only one that has requested this feature.

Bogdan B.

Hello,

But if the page changes and you no longer are at the top of the article, you will only see the bottom. Isn’t it more useful for a user to read an article from the top down, rather than be directly at the end of the article and have to scroll up to figure out anything. It;s like opening a page and you are in the middle or at the end of the page. It will be very confusing. Our theme does not have any option to remove this functionality.

Thank you
