First of all, thank you for the Mobile theme for AMP pages. It is a life-saver.
A) Currently, the permalink for AMP pages look like this: site.com/page/?amp. I want to change it to site.com/page/amp/. How do I change it? My hosting platform is NGINX.
B) For AMP Adsense ads, there are 2 code-blocks given by Adsense namely the insertion of the amp ads JS file in the header block and the actual AMP auto ads code-block in the body. However, in the mobile theme setting, there is only 1 box for AMP ads. Where do I put these 2 block blocks in <head> and <body> respectively?
C) Currently, I have Mobile + AMP option enabled in the mobile theme settings page. I notice that time-to-time, the Mobile theme switches back to Mobile only – thus removes the AMP option from the site completely. I don’t know what triggers that to switching. Can you please explain how to stick the option to Mobile + AMP constantly?
D) I want to stick to the text based logo for Mobile and AMP pages however I want an image logo for desktop version. The moment I specify the image under Header > Logo settings for the main theme, it automatically picks it up for Mobile theme too. Can I have text-based logo just for mobile + AMP pages? If so, what settings should be using?
Thanks, JK
As I talked earlier My Wp Editor is not loading. https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/wp-editor-is-not-loading/
I contacted my hosting provider they said that the Requirement for memory limit is up to mark.
WordPress 4.0 or later – WP version is 5.2.3
Apache or Nginx – Apache php.ini
memory limit: 40MB (recommended: 96M) – it’s 768MB
PHP version 7.0 or greater (recommended: PHP 7.2) – using PHP 7.2 at the moment
MySQL version 5.0 or greater (recommended: MySQL 5.5 or greater) – MySQL is 5.6
The mod_rewrite Apache module (optional) – It’s enabled
I want to add the shortcode in my column. So if there is any other way to put shortcode then tell me.
I am not understanding why it’s not working. I also give you the wp-login credentials and you said that everything is working fine. But its bot working fine.
Please help me.

Hi, My host says this: “I have gone through that list and did have to make a couple of changes to your config to match with what the developer asked for.
Let us know if anything else is required.
Server requirements:
– WordPress 4.0 or later thumbsup WordPress 5.2.2

Our theme requires that the GD Library and mbstring php extensions are enabled on the server.
WP Memory Limit: This parameter sets the amount of memory used by php and by default WordPress can go up to 40MB. To avoid Memory Exhausted error this parameter should be set to at least 256MB and this can be done from WordPress wp-config.php file.
define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ ); thumbsup Changed to 256MB
WP Debug: It is an option intended for development, it controls the reporting of some errors and warnings. It may display unwanted messages so you should disable it on your side. The default value is false.
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false); thumbsup Set to False by default
Php.ini parameters

I recently updated my theme to 9.7.3 and all the respective plugins, and suddenly AMP stopped working. I use the mobile theme as AMP. I removed all the plugins except AMP, tagdiv Mobile and tagdiv Composer and yet I was getting the same issue. I use Nginx cache and I cleared it every time before testing.
I think the issue is in tagdiv Composer plugin as Mobile theme is working fine without issues.
Also when I disable Mobile Theme, default AMP pages from the plugin are working without any issues.
Please check.

You do not understand this error or do not want to delve into. This is your standard response to any errors. As a result, time is lost due to such re-installations.
I increased the waiting time for the execution of scripts in the Nginx configuration, and the problem was solved.
WE recently made the mistake migrating to Godaddy managed hosting and have had numerous problems with the CDN service not working with servers with basic things like Gzip not functioning on all remote locations outside of the US and slow load times. Ok, I get it we made a mistake going with these guys. I wanted to ask the community which hosts offer a managed hosting solution that can host 2 sites running Newspaper and 3 other sites. I’m looking at Bluehost, Kinsta and Siteground. I’m concerned that with Siteground running NGINX it will be harder to optimize, otherwise they seem great. Any feedback / advice would be much appreciated.
Hi this is the conversation I had with Siteground today
Sharron Livingston: I am trying to make a change on Newspaper – Theme panel – ads. I wish to delete the text in the header ad. Unfortunately the system won’t save. The Support Forum wants
Server requirements
WordPress 4.0 or later
Apache or Nginx
php.ini memory limit: 40MB (recommended: 96M)
PHP version 5.6 or greater (recommended: PHP 7.0 or greater)
MySQL version 5.0 or greater (recommended: MySQL 5.5 or greater)
The mod_rewrite Apache module (optional)
For optimal performance the server requires some settings to be made, the optimizations include:
Use a cache plugin – we recommend WP Super Cache
Page Speed optimization –
Can you help me with this?
Sharron Livingston: This question is related to account: resellerthetravelmagazine.net
Teodor A.: Hey there
Teodor A.: I hope you are doing fine today!
Sharron Livingston: Hi Teador
Sharron Livingston: I am, but feeling overwhelmed
Sharron Livingston: I wanted to save an amendment I made on Newspaper – Theme Panels – Ads
Sharron Livingston: but it won’t save the amendment. so I went to their support panel and they just said the above
Sharron Livingston: and I have no clue what any of that means.
Sharron Livingston: Can you help?
Teodor A.: I understand you and what I can do is to make sure that all the server-side requirements are met
Sharron Livingston: thank you.
Sharron Livingston: shall I hang on here to find out if they are met
Teodor A.: Most welcome! Can you just tell me the domain name in question?
Teodor A.: Yes, but can you just tell me the domain of your site?
Sharron Livingston: http://www.thetravelmagazine.net
Teodor A.: Thank you! I am onit
Sharron Livingston: That’s great. Hanging on…. 🙂
Teodor A.: I am all done now! I carefully reviewed your account and confirm that all requriements server-wise are met now! The only change I had to do was for the memory_limit PHP variable as it was indeed having a lower value
Teodor A.: Everything else looks great!
Sharron Livingston: A cache plugin – we recommend WP Super Cache Page Speed optimization – we created a guide for this here
Sharron Livingston: Do we have that
Teodor A.: Yes, I already checked your website and you do have this pluginSharron Livingston: WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it at least to 256mb. Also please check the php version to be 7-7.2
Sharron Livingston: do you know what that means
Teodor A.: Yes, the PHP version for your site is currenty 7.1 which meets these requirements, the memory_limit has just neen increased to 256MB
Teodor A.: Oh, great. Now in order to resolve the initial issue, I would suggest to contact the plugin developers you use directly and tell them that the server requirements are met so that they can do some other checks being most familiar with how it works and to resolve issues related to it
Teodor A.: Of course, in case there anything that we can help or adjust from our side, you are always welcome to come back at us
UNFORTUNATELY … the save function still does not work. Can you help?
Hi,
Please notice that issues -> https://www.screencast.com/t/iyNCT59jj8 are not theme related and if you want to solve this, you should check some online fixes and solution in this regard. You can check the following hints from here -> https://enable-cors.org/server_nginx.html -> http://serverfault.com/questions/162429/how-do-i-add-access-control-allow-origin-in-nginx -> http://oskarhane.com/avoid-cors-with-nginx-proxy_pass/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
There are no general known issues with nginx. In particular however, you will have to check your system status section of the theme panel and make sure all entries there are green: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
Hi,
I use the theme together with Nginx, so far there has been no problem
Tell me where I can read, what problems / conflicts does this theme have with nginx?
Can I use this theme with nginx?
I have done what you told me, and this is what i get:
http://revist10-cp139.wordpresstemporal.com/prueba-carrusel/
I think it’s not right.
Doesn’t work either The preview tab
It display THIS: 502 Bad Gateway
nginx
THANKS
So the system status is different only that we use W3C as cache and Nginx as webserver (both but no problem so far).
Well and the requirements, as described in the article, we fulfill without problems, otherwise the site would not work with Newspaper for years.
The problem seems to be deeper, we will take a closer look at the server tonight, because the new version works fine on three more websites, so I’m assuming that there’s an error caused by the server.
Oh and thanks for the answers 🙂
Hi Calin,
yes I did. And I already increase WP_MEMORY_LIMIT to 256mb.
For .htaccess file, we have Nginx server.
Screenshot of browser’s console here
Thanks.

its ridiculous. i have a lot of high load wordpress sites but this i see first time…Can you help me?
comanda # ps aux | awk ‘{print $6/1024 ” MB\t\t” $11}’ | sort -n
Valorile ok pt a consuma putin ram
pm = ondemand
pm.max_children = 50
pm.process_idle_timeout = 10s
pm.max_requests = 500
comentate (;) randurile pm.start_servers ; pm.min_spare_servers ; pm.max_spare_servers
3. De asemenea se poate optimiza Apache conf
<IfModule prefork.c>
StartServers 3
MinSpareServers 5
MaxSpareServers 3
ServerLimit 80
MaxClients 80
MaxRequestsPerChild 1000

Salutare,
Situatie: http://prodambovita.ro/
VPS 2Gb ram, php7.1 memory limit 256 si Serve static files with Lighttpd
Instalare noua de wp + adaugat 50 articole
Install Newspaper 9.2.2 fara alte plugin-uri (decat td-composer, td-social-counter, td-amp)
1. configurat conform recomandarilor (forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/) – nici o diferenta
Multumesc !
I already cache php content with Nginx fastcgi cache. I just noticed if you run top on my box and do a search, you can see sql consumes all the cpu for a brief delay and everything comes back. It’s not that the search is terribly slow, but i would love to pre-cache it so the response is faster and there is less load on my server. Is there a sql query its running that i could make sure to optimize around? guess i’ll enable query tracing and see myself, but figured i would ask. The behavior doesn’t look unique to my site and most people may not be paying close attention to search 🙂
