Hello,
We have added a “slide” block to the right column of the article templates on our site, which will highlight some of our articles. Our old articles that we have determined are automatically displayed in a sequential manner within this block when the page is opened. However, we receive feedback from some of our users that this is distracting. Is it possible for the slide block to be active and passive according to the user’s request? Can we leave this to the user’s request? How.
Thank you in advance for your interest and help.
Best regards!
Hello!
1. Unfortunately, no. An inner row is a row within another row that has columns called inner columns because they are part of the inner row. You can add an inner row only into another row or column. They also have settings as any other shortcode/element from the tagdiv Composer. How to remove an inner row? The easiest solution is to click on the inner row word: https://app.screencast.com/PNI0Lolb0ZTm2 press Delete from your Keyboard, and click YES: https://app.screencast.com/sLv2xfmsO812v
You can set a row/inner row to be sticky or not from its settings: https://app.screencast.com/meYQjYKITuGuR .
You can reduce the inner columns of your inner row like this: https://app.screencast.com/bwmRwvQpsT2of
Please take a look here in this video for example where I build 6 columns: https://www.screencast.com/t/mZ2c5XamTFN2
2. Yes, with the help of the tagdiv Composer. Add a row and split it into 3 columns: https://prnt.sc/-y3xWBjrjmPD.
You can also specify the width of your columns, like 20%,60%,20%: https://prnt.sc/2zjfi6c2phgN
Drag and drop every element in each column. Example: https://prnt.sc/T2YSJ-cU73Eh
There are some settings to align it in the tagdiv Composer, click on the element: https://prnt.sc/lcYDthjDhhzv
3. No. These settings from point 2 are found only in the tagdiv Composer and you have to use a cloud single post template. The theme panel settings are proper for the default templates(those can not be edited with the tagdiv Composer).
Please check the differences between cloud vs default templates from our guides:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/
4. Already explained at point 3.
Thank you!
4) There is a option to create a sidebar under Theme Panel -> Template Settings -> Blog and Posts Template / Page Template. But how do we manage this newly created sidebar?
3) There are settings under Theme Panel -> Template Settings -> Blog and Posts Template / Page Template, how can we use them? There is no option for multiple sidebars or one or left and second on right?
Hello!
You can add them in the menu from Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus. You can drop them in More, and they should display: https://app.screencast.com/s6aRXyXWlkDD7
We recommend using cloud/PRO templates to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features; please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Hello,
I’m not exactly sure how you want the mobile version to look, but if you want the responsive version to appear, please deactivate the TagDiv Mobile Theme plugin. Once you do that, the changes will show up, because right now I can see that you’re no longer using the mobile theme on posts.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use; for this , you need to convert the header and footer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/HrjOBNayd to edit with tagdiv Composer.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!
Thank you so much Anamaria
Is there a way to reset the theme or template for this Homepage and keep the content?
I appreciate you guidance and expertise.
I tried on the Cloud homepage template and the page itself. I deactivated the caching plugin and security plugin and purged the hosting cache.

Hello,
You can remove the Single Post Author Box using Edit with tagDiv Composer on the Single Post Template and with a right-click you can delete => https://i.imgur.com/BnhhxVh.png , or selecting the element and with drag & drop place into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page => https://i.imgur.com/vkQVCjn.jpg
Thank you!
Hello Thomas!
Can’t you edit them in the tagdiv Composer?
I’m unsure which gallery you mean because the page leads me to the 404 template. Please check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/wp-rocket-and-newspaper-theme-optimization-guide/ -> thread: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/core-web-vitals-3/
Thank you!
Hello,
You have a header template from Cloud Library, then you need to edit with tagDiv Composer https://www.screencast.com/t/Y5j6ArY8Ug, select the logo and set there the image, make sure that is set to show and delete the logo text or SVG code-> https://imgur.com/ve11Fwt -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
For mobile please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport on phone, select the header logo and change it => https://i.imgur.com/cR7F0v4.png
Also, if the logo is in a modal popup, you need to edit that page to change the logo.
Thank you!
Hello,
I recommend disabling the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin, as any changes made for mobile won’t be reflected while it’s active. You can create mobile pages and templates.

Hi,
The tagDiv Composer is our page builder. It can be used to create pages and cloud templates, but not posts. For this, you’ll need to use Gutenberg or a classic editor.
Using tagDiv Composer, you can build/edit the single post template (the layout of the posts).
Here is a video that will show you how to use the builder to create a website from scratch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg to do this you’ll need to have the posts already. So, please create your posts using the Gutenberg editor, and delete the pages or manage them as you wish. After that, you can customize the single post templates for posts with tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
First, read carefully and try to understand because I wrote plenty of emails to tagDiv, so don’t have much time to repeat and repeat one thing all the time.
Can you tell me how to enable AJAX Live Search without the help of the tagDiv Cloud Library?
From the last 2 versions of the Newspaper theme, you have disabled (invisible) the “Live Search” ON Button from the Theme Panel.
AJAX Live Search works on mobile and wants to be enabled on desktop.
tagDiv Cloud Library: delete the plugin and reinstall it many times without success.
The main thing is I do not use any kind of Cloud Templates, so maybe I don’t need “tagDiv Cloud Library plugin”.
I don’t use a page for a homepage.
I don’t use the child theme.
Only activated tagdiv plugins with no luck because from the last 2 versions of the Newspaper theme, you have disabled (invisible) the “Live Search” ON Button from the Theme Panel.
tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Mobile Theme, and tagDiv Standard Pack are already installed and activated with no luck for “AJAX Live Search”.
If you want to visit my site: SOFTFULLY.COM
I think I changed the default Admin ID 1 in WordPress a few days ago. That might be why the old ID 1 needs to be updated in the database for the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin to work.
My main purpose is to enable AJAX Live Search on the Desktop without the help of the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin.
You have to guide me to enable “AJAX Live Search” manually from theme or plugin files in any way because I have been struggling past 2 months.
Hi,
Can you tell me how to enable AJAX Live Search without the help of the tagDiv Cloud Library?
AJAX Live Search works on Mobile and wants to enable it on Desktop.
tagDiv Cloud Library won’t work with the “Tech News” template, so please check on your side.

Hi Chris,
That’s already on the to do list, but unfortunately we haven’t added it for either of the themes. And I can’t provide a time estimate.
Maybe you could consider using a sharing plugin which has it? You could deactivate the theme sharing buttons and use a plugin instead. In terms of location I know that some plugins display the buttons on the side of the page automatically. Or if they can be displayed with a shortcode, it could be added in the post template. I will help with it, I’ll test a few plugins, no problem. Do you have specific requirements or you just want sharing buttons anywhere in the post page, with Bluesky included?
Please let me know.
Thank you!
I am using latest NEwspaper theme with tech-news-pro demo template. page link here
My menu items are showing up on the home page but not on other pages or menu item pages. The links are there but the font appears to be white. No mattter how many times i change the color of menu items the still do not show up. But they show up normally in td composer view while editing.
Anyone help me with this.
Hello,
Please disable the AMP and tagdiv mobile theme plugins. AMP is deprecated as of January 2023-> https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp so we don’t longer recommend it.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Thank you!
Hello,
I recommend disabling the TagDiv Mobile Theme plugin, as any changes made for mobile won’t be reflected while it’s active. You can create mobile pages and templates.

Hello Vunt!
You should not apply it manually. You should have an attachment template and make it global: https://app.screencast.com/34EQS5tJQxrZq. Go to the Media Library, click on an image, and view the attachment.
Please be aware of https://make.wordpress.org/core/2023/10/16/changes-to-attachment-pages/
Thank you!
Hello Support,
I’m currently using the Newspaper theme for my website, which contains many attached files in posts. I have found the “Attachment Template – Default PRO” option, but I’m not sure how to properly apply or activate it for my site.
Could you please guide me on how to use this template to display attachment pages or files more effectively?
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Vunt

Hello!
Yes, by using a custom module template: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/
Create a new custom module template from Cloud Templates -> Modules.
On the homepage, you should add this element and select your custom module created from this dropdown: https://app.screencast.com/HkE4twhMYIwel
Thank you!
