Hi, great theme, im just starting out,
i would like to create a post using the template import and tagdiv builder.
(creating a post similar to the home page nature template https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_nature/)
i dont want to use a page for this since i want it categorized.
any ideas how to achieve this ?

You can do that by using a single post cloud template from the Cloud Library. After you have added your single post template you can customize it using whatever widgets and elements you wish from the tagdiv Composer.

I need some help, I´m making my website with the template Newspaper, but I have some issues and asks; I have a blank space between the header and the body of the homepage, and I don´t want it; could you help me about dissapear that space, or at least decrease the size of that space? Also, if you could help me to reduce the space between the blocks, I will be very happy and grateful

hi, I am trying to import “News Magazine” template with all settings and content. When it is finished installing my homepage is just white. nothing on it at all. Some other templates work okay, but I want that one. If I import just the setting it works.

As soon as I click a template (Romania news homepage), the box does not go away. I can see behind the block that something is happening — probably a “confirmation” window, but I can’t click on anything to complete the import!
SO FRUSTRATING
And then when I go to split a row into columns, the builder doesn’t actually put the blocks that I’m adding into columns (I’m choosing 1/2 1/2). It just puts the block into a different row — even when the block I’m adding is a single post!
I don’t know, I’ve used Newspaper for about 6 years and I’m a bit disappointed with functionality. Unless I’m missing something, this is just so frustrating.
The TagDiv composer are not working, what ever I drags and drops into the page… Will just be loading, it won’t be added and of I click the save icon… It will also be loading for ever without any changes been made??… Why!!!?

I upgraded to Newspaper 9.8, the latest version. I notice that all my customisations to font, line-height, spacing, etc has completely vanished and it is replaced by something I did not select. This happens both on the home page and individual articles/blog posts. I have used a cloud template for individual posts. I tried to redo the fonts, styling, etc, but it is not working.

TagDiv Composer works on demos / single posts templates and pages created with tagDiv composer.
Also if you are having trouble with it’s’ speed that is probably due to System Requirements not being completed. Please follow this tutorial in order to have everything on point: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

If you want to deactivate them you can do it from theme panel -> http://prntscr.com/orgqrd or if you are using single post templates from tagDiv Cloud library then you’ll need to edit that template with tagDiv Composer and remove those elements.
If this is not what you mean, please provide some more details and a link to inspect the template.

1. This method was adopted ( all the theme functionality was move in td composer plugin ) seance the envato requirements to have in the theme only the WordPress basic functionality, you can check more about this in our article from here -> https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
2. If you are using only the td Composer there will be no conflicts with the page and templates, using both builders there can appear some incompatibilities.
3. This requirement for php7 comes from WordPress -> https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
4. Unfortunately, we did not tested the WordPress MU Domain Mapping plugin with our theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins ( support policy -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ ).

When I pick a template without content tagdiv composer does not show up on the top menu. Also when I click it on the “pages” it doesn’t load at all. It only works if the theme is with content even with that it takes forever to load.

If is not this, please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.

When I purchased your theme, I got the images and gifs along with the theme. And there’s one particular gif that I am talking about. In the 404 cloud template, there’s a gif of a man from an English show or movie. I don’t clearly remember.
My question is, Can I use this gif on my 404 page or in posts?

Thanks for your super quick answer, Vlad, but I still can’t edit the header template.
It looks like if I go to the category page and I click on the header, nothing happens, on the left there’s a screen with three buttons:
ADD ELEMENTS
LOAD TEMPLATES
HEADER MANAGER
But I can’t edit the header directly.
Do I do anything wrong?
