Ok so I will preface this with I am new to this theme and trying to learn it. In the process I have been trying to change a few things to see what they do – specifically the catagory layouts and theme colors. Everything I have done I have saved my changes and refreshed my page but not one of them shows up. I am an administrator for the page and have worked in word press for several years so I’m not all that new, but this one has me stumped. We are using the architecture template.

I’m setting up a category template but I want some categories not to show up in the Category Siblings section. So I thought I should hide them in de Themepanel > Categories > HIDE CATEGORY ON POST AND ON CATEGORY PAGES. But these categories remain visible. What should I do?

I’m porting a Drupal6 site to WordPress5 now and I’m using the latest Newsmag theme. I’m trying to keep this as faithful to the Drupal site as I can.

Here’s the home page after a couple of hours work:

First question: what is generating that cyan border around the header? How can I get rid of it?

Second question: the original site has a banner image spanning the width of the page. You can see it here:

I couldn’t find a header style template that matched this. I’d like to keep that map for historical reasons. Is there a work-around?

I’m using the Author Template 16 – Nomad from the cloud library. I want to make a page like that. How do I copy the content from the template. It’s not a page, so I can’t figure out how to get to the text of the code. The only place I can access it from is Cloud Templates, and if I select Edit it just takes me to the composer, where I can’t find anything that has the content to copy.

1- if i create a page with this only:
[vc_row][vc_column][td_block_1][/vc_column][/vc_row]
it says that this page hasn’t been created with TD COMPOSER, but i have done this code with td composer!
So whatever i do i always have the same answer and i cannot save my pages…

2- Is there a way to create a TEMPLATE PAGE that can be loaded in pages? see picture

Hi I’m using a default template for my pages, not created with tagdiv composer. They have been made with a previous version of the page builder that came originally with Newsmag (forgot the name sorry). My theme is up to date, and mobile versions are working great with all my posts and even home page, but for some reasons all my pages created out of tagdiv composer are not showing any content on mobile version (with ?amp url parameter). Is there anything I am missing here ? (for information, under AMP settings, both singular and home page templates are checked activated). Thank you for you help.

HOW DO YOU REGISTER YOUR ENVATO THEME WITH TAGDIV IN ORDER TO USE TEMPLATES WHEN CREATING A PAGE. LIKE ‘CONTACT PAGE TEMPLATE’ A WARNING SIGN TELLS ME THAT I NEED TO REGISTER WITH TAGDIV FIRST AND RETRY. PLEAS HELP!

So I just got this new Theme and as I am trying to fix and make this look nice I see that my old post are not able to be edited.

this is the message that I get? can someone help.

Please select tagDiv Builder Template from the theme panel or set a default template. The current page/post uses a template that is not editable.

How can I accomplish that?

I want to be able to add a snippet that would appear above the body of my post when I edit a post and add content to an older post. This snippet would in effect say:

‘Last updated on April 19th 2019’. (or whatever date you edited it on).

I’m doing this because its not good practice to remove dates from a post or edit the original publish date. This is a good workaround.

However, the problem is when I add the code to my child functions.php it works okay, but, it appears on the homepage (it should not) it throws the date and words outside of the body to the left of the template body. See screenshot.

Here is the code:

The date appears correctly everywhere else and as intended to be. It should NOT be appearing on the homepage. BTW it works outside of this template quite well, so I believe this is a conflict somewhere with this.

I know, that AMP seems to work best with the official AMP-plugin and the mobile theme of newsletter. That’s the recommendation.
But I do not want to use the mobile theme, because it has too much limitations.
Which are the best AMP-settings for the normal Newspaper-theme?
Right now in the AMP-plugins settings, only the template mode “Reader” seems to work with Newspaper. The other more promising modes “Native” or “Transitional” mess up the AMP-layout. Is it right, that with the Newsletter standard theme only the “Reader” mode is working? It would be great, to have a more individual layout for the AMP pages even when not using the mobile theme of Newspaper. The Reader-mode is quite boring 🙂

I want to use different header for each page, so i imported some header template from cloud library. I need to modify those template but i can do that using tdcomposer as it showing a blank screen with sidebar, cant able to add any element to that template. Please help me to sort it out.
