I wish there was a way to change this to a 3/4 + 1/4 ratio as a standard option for posts. For some site types where the sidebar is not so important, like on blogs, this would be better I think. I did a test where I made a page with this ratio and compared to the 2/3 + 1/3 standard ratio on all post templates. It looks much better I think. Could you make a post template with 3/4 + 1/4?
Hi Catalin,
That is the category template I’m using. I’m just surprised that the category tag colors don’t work on the archive pages.
Thanks
I am trying to change the hover colour of oneof the main menu items.
(The site is currently in development but can be viewed with login and password as “guest” @ https://bit.ly/2NAz0Fs
Usually when I hover over any of the main menu items they all have the same coloured underline displayed.
News Forums Buying Guide Device Specifications G’day, guest guest!
I am wanting to have a different colour hover for just one of the menu titles. An example would be “News” having a green underline.
The CSS used for the menu hover is as follows:
.td-header-wrap .black-menu .sf-menu > .current-menu-item > a, .td-header-wrap .black-menu .sf-menu > .current-menu-ancestor > a, .td-header-wrap .black-menu .sf-menu > .current-category-ancestor > a, .td-header-wrap .black-menu .sf-menu > li > a:hover, .td-header-wrap .black-menu .sf-menu > .sfHover > a, .td-header-style-12 .td-header-menu-wrap-full, .sf-menu > .current-menu-item > a::after, .sf-menu > .current-menu-ancestor > a::after, .sf-menu > .current-category-ancestor > a::after, .sf-menu > li:hover > a::after, .sf-menu > .sfHover > a::after, .td-header-style-12 .td-affix, .header-search-wrap .td-drop-down-search::after, .header-search-wrap .td-drop-down-search .btn:hover, input[type=submit]:hover, .td-read-more a, .td-post-category:hover, .td-grid-style-1.td-hover-1 .td-big-grid-post:hover .td-post-category, .td-grid-style-5.td-hover-1 .td-big-grid-post:hover .td-post-category, .td_top_authors .td-active .td-author-post-count, .td_top_authors .td-active .td-author-comments-count, .td_top_authors .td_mod_wrap:hover .td-author-post-count, .td_top_authors .td_mod_wrap:hover .td-author-comments-count, .td-404-sub-sub-title a:hover, .td-search-form-widget .wpb_button:hover, .td-rating-bar-wrap div, .td_category_template_3 .td-current-sub-category, .dropcap, .td_wrapper_video_playlist .td_video_controls_playlist_wrapper, .wpb_default, .wpb_default:hover, .td-left-smart-list:hover, .td-right-smart-list:hover, .woocommerce-checkout .woocommerce input.button:hover, .woocommerce-page .woocommerce a.button:hover, .woocommerce-account div.woocommerce .button:hover, #bbpress-forums button:hover, .bbp_widget_login .button:hover, .td-footer-wrapper .td-post-category, .td-footer-wrapper .widget_product_search input[type='submit']:hover, .woocommerce .product a.button:hover, .woocommerce .product #respond input#submit:hover, .woocommerce .checkout input#place_order:hover, .woocommerce .woocommerce.widget .button:hover, .single-product .product .summary .cart .button:hover, .woocommerce-cart .woocommerce table.cart .button:hover, .woocommerce-cart .woocommerce .shipping-calculator-form .button:hover, .td-next-prev-wrap a:hover, .td-load-more-wrap a:hover, .td-post-small-box a:hover, .page-nav .current, :first-child.page-nav > div, .td_category_template_8 .td-category-header .td-category a.td-current-sub-category, .td_category_template_4 .td-category-siblings .td-category a:hover, #bbpress-forums .bbp-pagination .current, #bbpress-forums #bbp-single-user-details #bbp-user-navigation li.current a, .td-theme-slider:hover .slide-meta-cat a, a.vc_btn-black:hover, .td-trending-now-wrapper:hover .td-trending-now-title, .td-scroll-up, .td-smart-list-button:hover, .td-weather-information::before, .td-weather-week::before, .td_block_exchange .td-exchange-header::before, .td_block_big_grid_9.td-grid-style-1 .td-post-category, .td_block_big_grid_9.td-grid-style-5 .td-post-category, .td-grid-style-6.td-hover-1 .td-module-thumb::after, .td-pulldown-syle-2 .td-subcat-dropdown ul::after, .td_block_template_9 .td-block-title::after, .td_block_template_15 .td-block-title::before, div.wpforms-container .wpforms-form div.wpforms-submit-container button[type=submit] {

}
Obviously changing the background here would change all the menu items, my goal is to change just a single menu item’s hover colour.
Also, the li class of the “News” item also has a unique reference, which I feel may be useful when changing to the its background hover.
menu-item menu-item-type-taxonomy menu-item-object-category menu-item-first td-menu-item td-mega-menu menu-item-6 news`
I could use either menu-item-6 or news? I’ve tried to come up with a solution myself but can’t quite get it working.
Thanks in advance!!

Can you give me further instructions on removing the H1 tag from the theme code and adding it another place? ?
===
You also answered your question:
If you want to remove it, you will have to either use the page builder + page title template where the h1 is shown in the page content, and the logo does not get an H1 tag anymore
or by editing the theme files and removing the h1 tag from the theme code: https://www.screencast.com/t/9uXujjSj
Thanks for your reply.
I know where to activate it… and it’s activated. However, clicking “load more” button doesn’t seem to use the same php template as Block 5 (td_module_3.php).
Here’s the page with the problem:
https://www.farmflavor.com/recipes/
One last thing. How can i remove a sidebar from a specific page?
I see that i can disable the sidebar from theme panel-template settings-page template. But with that i will remove all sidebars from every page. I just want remove it from contact page.
Hello,
I’m building a page. Default template used (which says : “Default template, perfect for page builder or content pages.”).
I’m clicking on tagdiv composer while the page is totally empty.
I add a 2/3 + 1/3 ROW.
On 2/3 column, I add a simple html text for my page content.
On 1/3 column, I add a widget sidebar, and select the default sidebar that I already use for homepage.
I click SAVE.
When displaying the page, the sidebar is not scrolling with the screen, it is fixed.
Sticky side bar is activated in my theme panel settings, and works perfectly on homepage, articles, normal pages (not built with tag div composer).
Any fix ?
Thank you
Note : the website is not live yet, so I can’t provide you with a link now
Hi,
If you are referring to the post section or Homepage button in the 404 pages, they inherit the theme accent color (button when hovered)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jfwvWVwmf3ET
We will probably include 404 templates in an update of the Cloud library plugin, so you can design theme in any way you like.
Hello,
I’m using Classic Blog Template and I need to add blog post recipes, so I installed a WP Ultimate Recipe plugin. However, after doing so, the images on the home page stopped showing up, so I had to uninstall the plug in and problem resolved.
Can you please either help me understand how to fix this compatibility issue or recommend recipe plug in that I can install to use with Classic Blog template.
Thank you
What template is used after a user clicks the “Load More” button in a TD Composer Block?? I am using Block 5 on a page and have customized its corresponding td_module_3.php in a child theme with some conditional logic. However, the “load more” pagination uses a different block/module.
Can anyone point me to where these other templates are located within the theme?
Hi,
Those category pages are created by default. You can use the default templates for them or design your own category page templates with the cloud library plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
So you can create templates for categories with the tagDiv composer.
I could’n t say what would be the best option here if you still want to go on with it, maybe you can research this more online. But the easiest would surely be to use the normal category pages, especially with the new options. No hassle with redirects or other issues that may happen if using a page.
Thanks
Those default buttons will inherit the theme accent color as hover color. There is no setting for them specifically.
I believe 404 page templates will be added in the cloud library plugin so they can be designed as you want.
When choosing to add a section or page on a new page the acknowledgment buttons are behind the image and you cant say ok to choose section. You simply cannot import sections.

Only difference is that you setup the Primary Category inside the Post EDIT while the Custom-Sidebar was set in the “Per Category” template and not in the Edit Post option. I have done the same as above. No change in result. Home Category continues to be fine. Does not show up for Front-Page Category at all.
Can I privately send you my admin Login/Password since it is a test side and you can help me setup this facility in it.
Hi,
That may happen, we have not made any tests in the matter with that plugin. The new templates are similar to pages, they do not have actual template files such as the default predefined post templates.
They will work with the default WordPress comments, maybe in the future there will be options to select comments source.
Hello,
Indeed our theme supports iframes. It depends on the template you want to add an iframe to. If you want to add it inside a post, you simply place the iframe code in the post content in text mode. If you want to add it to a page, you will have to use a ‘column text’ element in the tagdiv composer and implement it through the tiny mce editor again in text mode.
Thank you!
Hi,
You could hide them with some CSS, the views are only displayed in the post page. Try a code like this, it should work for all the post templates
.single .td-post-views {
display: none;
}
Enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS code section.
Thanks
Hi,
I see you use a blog style homepage, instead of a static page. The module used to display the posts can be selected in the Theme panel->Template settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/51AHiGL39c
Thanks
Is there a way we can install a floating sidebar on the homepage created by TD Composer.
OR
if we can have Infinite Load on Post Loop Settings (under template ‘Pagebuilder + Latest Articles + pagination).
Basically I want to display my latest articles under the various elements I have created with TD Composer but I need to have two things together – 1) Infinite Load & 2) Floating sidebar..
So below the header and above the page content. By using the page builder you can design any page with the content you want. If you want that section to be displayed on every page of the website (posts, categories etc) you could include it in the header template you are using maybe. Use the shortcode of the elements you want. Example with a block
– https://www.screencast.com/t/sDQyDAtC
– https://www.screencast.com/t/c5D8VynHx
– https://www.screencast.com/t/HJAUVEYy
– https://www.screencast.com/t/0UwGJGHE4
<?php echo do_shortcode('Shortcode here'); ?>
Other than this there would be no way I can think of to do what you are trying to.
Hello,
You can hide the author and date from posts from this option:
https://www.screencast.com/t/4ccIvGkq
and for pages and other templates: https://forum.tagdiv.com/meta-info-modules-blocks/
Thank you!
Hi,
In the blocks a post will be represented by a single category tag, it’s primary category. Each post has a primary category, more about this here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/
In the post pages you can hide any category, in the per category settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/a3f6Scn6kg
Or using the Cloud library plugin and tagDiv composer, design a post template as you want starting with a blank template, or import a predefined template (this can also be modified)
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
In these templates the category tag element has a limit you can set
– https://www.screencast.com/t/N6hNUp0ra
This would be a solution to limit the number of categories as you want.
Thanks
Hi,
The tagDiv composer can be used on pages, and as of update 8.8 can be used to create post templates with the Cloud library plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
So you can place in a post template anything you want that is available in the tagDiv composer.
Only blocks and a few other elements can be placed as widgets, not all of them.
Thanks
Hi,
As of theme version 8.8, the tagDiv composer can be used to create post templates, category templates etc, not only pages
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-8-8-update-what-s-new/
With these two plugins (composer and cloud library) you can import predefined templates (more will be added) modify them if needed, or create your own (with blank templates).
Note that these are for designing templates, not to built actual, individual posts.
Only through the Cloud library plugin you can add a new template (import or create)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ggPk8sjK7s
This plugin is in beta state, we will try to improve it’s functionality and also add more templates in the future.
It is true that featured videos can only be actually played in the post page. In pages you can embed single videos or playlists, or use dedicated video elements like the video playlist or even button elements (with video popup).
Where exactly do you want to add the widgets? Maybe it could be possible by editing the theme page templates and adding the widget there. But this way if you want to make modifications to it you will have to edit the code.
Also, content in pages is meant to be added with the page builder, adding it in other ways may cause problems either with the layout or maybe with the functionality.
