So, please notice that this type of feature is useful when you are not using the page builder plus page title template. Before this, you will have to add it manually on the page, using some text blocks with H1 text. This request was from several users and we have found this solution and have implemented in our theme. Please notice that the SEO Yost using the same method to display the H1 tag for official site, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/4wYyNEDgNJmf
If you want to get rid of this H1 logo, you will have to follow the steps -> http://screencast.com/t/HkuuAayUyX4U ->> this is an example to the header style 1. So, if you are using the header style 3, you will have to make this change in header-style-3.php.

You can add social counter at the bottom of the posts by editing the file corresponding with post template used. Howdy I bouth newsmag theme month ago and I´d like to say is a wonderful template.
On my home page I would like have a simple post carousel with on top a big header with summary or text
and a big photo then below 4 thumbnails of the old post something like this web page

I can’t find any element on visual composer to build something like that or any plug ins, I will appreciate if you can tell me wich plugs or element should I use or find on the web.

unfortunately the “blog” section cannot be moved on top of the blocks and grids. The theme has no such options. If you want to move the loop on top of the file, you must edit the page template: http://screencast.com/t/iGGY7EdsavfN It will require coding knowledge though.

Please notice that the mobile theme has been designed to be used in default mode and it will not bring the settings which are selected from the theme panel. This template has been designed to display a very simple version of the page. At the moment, you can add only text, images. This decision was been took by our developers just to give high performance to this mobile theme. SO, if you want to customize it as you wish, please notice that you will have to alter the code from the core file and these processes involves custom work and we cannot provide this type of services at the moment, sorry! So, if you are unhappy with our mobile theme, you can deactivate it the mobile plugin and the theme will be switched to the normal responsive version which takes over all settings from the panel.

I’ve checked your site and noticed that your using page template default for homepage. On this post template the sidebar won’t be displayed when Visual Composer it’s used unless you add it on the page. Also for posts you don’t have sidebar set. Try to set a sidebar from post editor clear the cache memory the test the site again.

I did the update today and I’m having quite a few issues after the update.
I’ve completely deleted the theme and child theme folders and made sure the upload is a clean upload of the files to the FTP server, but still seeing errors.
1) The top header initially shows as blue and then changes to the correct color, orange. This never happened before and happens every time I refresh any page.
2) The events pages (http://mauimagazine.net/maui-events/) show a style problem where the text is squeezed and shows a big gap on the right side, making the whole page look long and bad. I have tested deactivating all other plugins and can see the problem is not a conflict among plugins.
3) My customizations to my child theme do not see to be showing properly – custom title tags for events pages generated by The Events Calendar Pro.
4) I tried using the mobile template plugin and it causes a whole bunch of errors. On the new mobile template, none of any page content shows. Just the footer content shows. And the events calendar page does not load any listings and gives this error message: nothing loading: wp booster error: td_module: td_module_mob1($post is not WP_Post
If 2 & 3 require me to get support from the premium plugin, I will go there. Since the theme change caused this problem today, I’m pretty sure it’s the theme code, not the plugin itself.
I already emailed support directly with my license code and login info, but I appreciate a reply or response to this and a followup via email.

I just want to create it like a blog with posts on one side and a sidebar. I had created a custom template which I am using on pages and posts but I am facing problem on categories pages as they use default template and there is no option to choose custom template. I had changed the sidebar as per my requirement but can’t change the template.

Unfortunately the theme will not upscale your images. It only crops them. You need to upload images bigger than the containers on the homepage if you want them to display properly. There is another issue on your end though. Your site does not use thumbnails for images. you nned to make sure your thumbs are set for the blocks that you use on your site: http://screencast.com/t/yYYqdI8O And then use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
As for the image sizes, there is no ideal image size I can recommend. You will have to asses the containers and thumbs you plan on using on your site and the post templates as well. if you use post templates that use the full size images like: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-2015-awards-all-of-the-best-and-worst-moments-from-the-show/ then a full had image is required. If not, you need to inspect every element especially on the homepage. If you use big grids, your images must be at least the size of the big grid container otherwise they will not fit inside and not display properly. Here is a list of all thumbs used in our theme:

Is there a way to disable this functionality from template removing sidebars if visual composer is used? I have a page that does not use VC, but uses another shortcode from gravity forms .. this is causing page to display without sidebar. I would like sidebar on my pages, even if I use visual composer. Any way to disable that from happening? Thanks.
Note: The settings from this box only work if you do not use visual composer on this template. The template detects if visual composer is used and it removes the title and sidebars if that’s the case.
Sharing this issue with you, to make you aware, and perhaps there is a fix?
When I try to save a Page that uses Visual Composer shortcodes, I get error:

I have discovered that if I open this file:

I´m trying to connect my facebook and twitter to my page.
Twitter is connected and working good but with facebook I can´t see the number of followers correctly, it´s show only one.
I make all like in your tutorial. I created a facebook developer account and in wordpress I add the facebook app ID, the security key and generate the access token but it´s still not working.
I have 1724 likes in my facebook and in the website only 1.

You can display Instagram block on single posts using do_shortcode function. You have to edit the file corresponding with post template used and ego out the shortcode where you want the have the widget displayed. The theme does not have an option to display ads between posts from category pages. To achieve that you’ll need some customizations in theme’s core files. We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

I couldn’t get it to over the post heading. I was trying to do that with the revolution slider so there was maybe a crossover with the TagDiv teams replies to me. It works on a plain page template and you have to do another little trick to close the white space between the Rev slider and the top menu. I couldn’t figure out how to change the style.php file to get the post above the post title but it does work on a plain page with no sidebar, like a home page for example. If you want to add your js.code in your header, you will have to edit the header.php core file and place there like this -> http://screencast.com/t/jiiQ1IttD or if you want to add it to your pages, you have two possibilities -> the first one, using the ROW JS element from Visual Composer and secondly you will have to edit the page templates corresponding to your page template used by you. Please notice that we only guide you in the right direction and if you are not aware what you will have to do further, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

I’m using a calendar plugin which creates a custom post type. The sidebar doesn’t show up on these custom posts, so I checked settings for the plugin and found the following:
Specify comma separated meta field names used by the theme to store layout information per post. This is used if for example the theme allows to configure a sidebar per page, but it is not showing in the event page although it has been configured on the template.
Where can I find a field name for the sidebar?
