In the mobile theme, the images on the home page are not displayed in 265×198 size and when I query pagespeed.web.dev I get the error “Serve appropriately sized images.”
How do I fix this?

Can’t we use another solution on mobile? Not load it as a background, but as a cropped, light image? The biggest problem is rendering this image. This problem is only on mobile, help me solve it.

There is an option to disable the mobile theme from a page/post – https://i.imgur.com/d3kTBRf.png. This option appears in the Gutenberg editor. After you disable the mobile theme on the page, you can use the responsive version. There are no other solutions.
To increase page speed, I recommend checking which thumbnails you are using on your blocks. You might want to avoid enabling all of them and optimize and regenerate images. You can use the EWWW Image Optimizer for image optimization and the OMGF plugin for fonts. Additionally, you can use the WP Rocket plugin.

Unfortunately, I’m experiencing the same issue. According to PageSpeed, on mobile, the First Contentful Paint is >5 seconds and the Largest Contentful Paint is >9 seconds in every test. On PC, the values are excellent. I’m using WP Rocket and the MOBILE TEMPLATE, which I set up with Composer.

In the last days I have been experimenting with my site to further improve my pagespeed and I noticed that the Category Siblings element waits for all google ads to load until it becomes visible. If I have a page with 0 ads – it loads very fast, if there are a few ads – it becomes slow.

Simply use an application locally or server side (e.g., apache pagespeed) that removes all comments in HTML to speed site load. That’s what we do here.

I checked the images, now my question is when you set the step 2 and step 3 the score is good, the fact that the images are not loading in google pagespeed should not be a problem as long those are loading when the user is interacting with the website ?(or this is the problem that the images are no longer loading even if the user is interacting with the website).
Also, did you tried to exclude all except tagdiv-theme.min.js ?
