Flex-Block-1 has the same Layout as Post Loop. Only reason I use Post Loop is that it has the “Normal Numbered” pagination which other Flex Blocks do not have. Please provide this option on Flex-Blocks-1,3 & 4. Most of us may not need the filter on Post Loop.
There is no filter facility in “Posts Loop” to display Posts of a specific Category or Posts only. Is it possible to provide a CSS Code for this. Thanks.

The reason I was using Posts Loop is that it is for a Category page and the Posts Loop selects the correct category for the articles. Is that also possible for flex blocks / big grid flex?

If you use Cloud Library, these templates can’t be set in child theme. Child Theme uses the standard templates.
For flex Block 1 you can find the files in these paths
wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/modules/td_module_flex_1.php
wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_flex_block_1.php and for Posts Loop is wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/modules/tdb_module_loop.php tdb_module_loop_2.php
If you use cloud templates and you make changes in the files, the changes will apply on all pages.

Unfortunately, you can use only one Posts Loop on the page (not more), if add more elements “Posts Loop” then these will inherit the settings made for the last “Posts Loop” element.
So, you can try to use flex block, when you can set the offset or a Big Grid Flex.

I’m using tagdiv cloud library for category and tag templates.
I have a post rating plugin that will show the average rating on posts lists in most other themes, but it doesn’t show on any post lists in Newspaper, I assume because I’m using cloud library.
I’d like to take a stab at adding it directly into the template in my child theme. What templates are used in Newspaper for the posts loop for categories and tags and for flex block 1?

Just to add a bit more context.
I have 3 Posts Loop modules on the same page. Each of them have a Limit post number set to 4. First module has the Offset posts field empty. The second module has it set to 5 and the third module has it set to 9. However they all show the same 4 articles.

looks like Offset posts is not working for Posts loop in mobile template (not mobile theme) for Newspaper (I have only tried it there). The feature is working fine on the front page but for different type of block.
Is that a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

I totally understand, in fact what I really need is that the Posts Loop could have filtering options. That would be very handy and that will offer more flexibility.

The Posts Loops settings are divided into 4 tabs: General, Layout, Style, and CSS. The Posts loop is a special block and doesn’t have filtering options.
Also, one of the options for pagination of the Posts Loop has the option for normal numbered and the flex blocks do not have this option.
The Posts Loop is automatically filtering the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example on the category page there will be posted posts from that category).
If you want to exclude posts, then you can use another block, like a flex block => https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/, where you can apply filter.

It would be useful to understand if there is a method, only visible to administrators and editors, to view the draft posts in the homepage loop before publication.

You can modify the page with TagDiv Composer and for flex blocks and posts loops you will have a setting in Layout tab of the element: Show author, Show date, Show comment.
On posts you can delete the element also using TagDiv Composer. Please note that you need to access your post of your website and then edit with the plugin by clicking the green button from above.

Hey, guys! I’d like to know if there is a way to increase the number of results in the loop single page (post detail). My single page is bringing just 5 posts when I scrolldown the content.
I tried change the value in Settings > Reading to 50, for exemple. Nothing changed. I tried to use query_posts(‘posts_per_page=50’) before the ‘while’ in loop.php and loop-single.php. Editing this files by the wp-admin editor. No succcess.

I am currently working on a news aggregator website.I’m utilizing the archive to display all my posts in a feed. In addition to including the category and date of the post I also need to have the source listed. I have tried using advanced custom fields and adding code to the archive loop, but have not had much success. What can I do to add new metadata to the archive page? has a posts loop with a header type 4 to start with. The maximum number of posts are 20.
Pagination is set to “Next Prev ajax”.
On my laptop/desktop this work fine and I can move between the different pages.
On my cell phone (I am not using a mobile theme) the page freezes instead.

I have 2 questions.
1. Can I change the color of a particular category and have it change everywhere on the site (in the mega menu, in the homepage, in the sidebar). I used the option in the Theme Panel but it only changes on the Single Post Page.

2. I would like to use a filtering menu for a Posts Loop, see screenshot. The way I managed to set it up now, the Category title link takes me to the Category Page. I would like for the posts in the grid to filter according to the category chosen.
