After the most recent update and also the previous one, the Composer will not allow us to update any images or change blocks in existing templates. It saves headers and footers but not content. Huge sections are also missing from the block options within the composer, such as the ability to select social media icons for the single post share tool.
I am running the latest WordPress and Newspaper. 512 Meg memory allocated and latest PHP. Tried reinstalling and disabling plugins, no change, tried downgrading WP and Newspaper, no change. We are trying to update templates and remove older blocks to activate a new Pro temple. Hugely frustrating.
Thanks. I will remove the WPB entirely.
Then it works as it shall. Do you have any idea of how to add my blank unnamed post template to tagDiv enable one?
or where that tpl file is ?
Hi,
The problem with search results page: this situation can appear when is set an offset in the cloud templates, please edit it with tagDiv Composer and check if there is an offset on posts loop element -> https://imgur.com/WE37H6O -> https://i.imgur.com/1csC6yd.png
Also I think that the same is with the cloud tag page, edit it -> https://i.imgur.com/INApxkC.png -> make sure that you remove the offset number and let an empty field -> https://i.imgur.com/URofmxX.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello @iwanrambe!
When you access a post on your website and then edit with TagDiv Composer you will find Single Post Comments Counter element and you can remove the icon like that: https://www.screencast.com/t/pLLA8Tj7mzf
Thank you!
I can’t find it in the composer tagDiv,
to remove the comment icon on the post
I mainly write content on my blog but also have scraped videos that auto post from my youtube channel.
Is it possible to have a featured image included on the normal posts i.e https://www.tttechnology.co.uk/galaxy-s21-revealed-in-live-photo/
but then not have a featured image show in my video posts : https://www.tttechnology.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-z-fold-3-incredible-news/
the video posts go to its own catagory
Hi Isotypo, this is possible only inside the article for featured image if you are using a single post template from cloud, using a cloud template the featured image is remove when there is no image selected.
Thank you!
Do you have any suggestion for how to remove that box? It is on every post page. I have all of the author switches turned off in the theme panel. Here is a picture of the author box graphic I am trying to get rid of.
Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
You are now able to create mobile viewport templates as you can see in our guide here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
! Atention ! If you are using mobile templates you will have to remove the mobile theme plugin and also at the moment AMP is not working with mobile templates.
Please note that at the moment the Support team is not 24/7 available. We answer the topics from Latest to Newest Monday – Friday from 08:00AM to 05:00PM GMT+2

On a site we’re developing, the desktop version of the site brings up a live search modal when you begin typing. This search modal has no images (which is what we want). However the mobile formatted search overlay _does_ display images (which we do _not_ want). I’ve spent over an hour combing through every setting I can think of to identify where this search overlay is coming from, and how I can remove the images. Please help.

Hi,
If you only want to remove the duplicate posts from homepage, then you can use the unique article option -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/
Also for the problem with the flex block, please set a new one with tagDiv Composer and set the filter on it to see if the problem persists or not.
Let me now the results!
Hi,
If you are using a standard demo with standard templates, you can remove the author from posts using the settings from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/HfvbjY3.png
If you are using a pro demo, this use cloud templates, you need to edit theme with tagDiv Composer and use the right click on the elements that you want to remove -> https://i.imgur.com/GfWLUGT.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/qEBR6DR.jpg
Hope this will help you!
Hi Vlad
I did what you suggested. I removed all plugins, left only tagDiv plugins active. No change. Problems still present.
I removed all tagDiv plugins, re-installed them and activated them.
No change. Problems still present.
It is only on the pages. Posts are not effected by it.
On pages. “Add new” button and create a new sample page, everything is working great, as it should.
Only the pages I created in 2019, before the big update in Newspaper theme, having the problem with the “Edit” button. As mention earlier, “Edit with TD Composer”, “quick Edit” and the rest, is working as expected.
I have no clue what to do else, except uninstall the demotheme or, worse, redo the entire wp-installation, but later I really want to avoid.
I am using the default post options. When I switch off, it only removes the author portion from the top of the post. It still leaves this large rectangular box at the bottom : https://www.instagram.com/p/CICep6agZWF/
Is there another way to remove this large box from every post? Thank you!
Hello!
We have 2 cases for this:
1. If you use the default post templates, then you can go to Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Post Settings -> Post and Custom Post Types and disable this option: https://www.screencast.com/t/SJpjSz8x3cy
2. If you use the cloud post templates, then you can easily remove the author box with TagDiv Composer editor.
Thank you!

Hello !
That can be done using tagDiv composer on your post template. Open tagDiv Composer when you are on your post template and right click on the element you want to remove: https://www.screencast.com/t/5WQpSwaeIxA
Thank you !
I came upon a error in rendering, it breaks my footer columns on single post view.
I use a standard post template that came with the theme.
Rendering the footer on Pages is ok.
ALso I have one error when I switch between WP Bakery edit and the tagdiv editor. sometimes it wont save, thats only one particular page, or sometimes tagdiv removes my content I added i the bakery. Caching is off.
