In the documentation of the Thumbnail problem here, it is said that it can be solved with the Thumbnail Regenerate plugin, but this plugin has not been updated for the past 2 years, after seeing the review and blog the developer turns out that the plugin maker has died.

The question is, is this plugin still working properly? since it’s already been 3 years I’m afraid this will also be another conflict to cache or SEO plugins. Waiting for the update of this plugin is already impossible. Tagdiv’s Newspaper team may be able to update the documentation for other optional plugins.

I need to show a flexblock filtered by tag slug. However the tag slug should be the page name/slug which will be supplied by a php variable. I run a listing site and i want to show on the single listing page all the Posts/articles that have tagged this listing. Basically a ‘related news’ block on the single listing page.

I got it to work on the front end. However it seriously breaks the TD Composer.

I installed PHP Snippets plugin and added this:

Then inserted the snippet shortcode in the page.
It works and i get the posts i need. But composer hangs with red errors. Had to edit the database to find a revision.

Even the above code without any php breaks the composer. But why? Try it. Paste the above in a text block or shortcode field and see.

If i can get that to work i will be very happy!

Hello, I’m having issue with the mobile page… it keeps switching back to desktop site on mobile no matter what I tried… I thought the issue was with AMP, but i decided to delete amp and stick with the mobile theme… it displays for a while, but always goes back to Desktop site. I have sent my admin login to tagdiv to take a look, they were able to help, but just a day later, the mobile theme switched back to Desktop mode… this is very frustrating, especially given the fact that I just applied for Adsense and the website is currently under review. While using the Newspaper theme the WordPress Customizer works just fine. However, as soon as I deactivate Newspaper and use any other theme (I tried various WordPress standard themes and a few others as well) the Customizer stops working and only brings up a blank live preview. After lots of trial end error I first thought this was a WordPress issue and posted it (including all steps already performed) in the official WordPress support channel (see thread here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/customizer-shows-blank-page/#post-16191840).

However, the reply I got there assumed that this could be a theme issue as Newspaper “might be storing an invalid value in a common configuration field that the customizer uses. This prevents other themes from loading the Customizer settings.” Thus, they recommended to check back with you if this could be the case.

Google made a product reviews update to its algorithm, https://developers.google.com/search/updates/product-reviews-update

Since in the embedded reviews on the theme we have only product review option as schema, it is hurting many people rankings I believe (incuding mine).

Can you please add the option to change the review schema (itemreviewed). Or please tell us how to change it from the theme files.

I just purchased and imported the Newspaper theme into my blog. I assume most News, Reviews, Guides etc should be posts and not pages correct? I ask because I have a main issue I cant figure out:

I’m trying to figure out how to edit the color scheme of posts (header color, text color, etc). I can change the colors for pages in the theme settings but I cant find it for posts.

Other side note: for some reason bulleted lists on my pages are the same color as the background, how can I change that?

When I edit Cloud Templates using the TD Composer I would like to view/preview posts to assist me in the design of the template. Sometimes I see one post and sometimes I just see ‘Sample Post Title 0′,’Sample Post Title 1′,’Sample Post Title 2’ etc. How do I preview using posts from a specific category. Is there a setting that controls the previewing?
