Hello,
Anyone using newsmag 3 with RTL?? please give me the style.css
I tried to convert the theme to rtl but its not work, and i am not good with coding 🙁
Thanks
Hi,
The caption works on smartlists but please do not use html in the caption as this field will not work properly with html just simple text. Do not use anchor tags or div’s.
I tested the captions again on all smartlists and it works as expected
Thank you!
Hi
1. Make sure that your using V 3.2 of Social Counter, clear all caches then test again.
2. The theme was not designed to hide the sidebar on mobile, however you can achieve that using media queries and css code.
3. The theme was not designed to support rtl style and we can’t offer support for layouts miscommunication caused by this style. You will have to adapt theme’s layout to rtl style by yourself as we’re not available for custom work.
Thanks!
Hi,
Currently I am having two issues with the smart list.
1. It’s not showing the Caption of images in smart list.
2. Whenever a user clicks the image/gif which has a caption in smart list, it’s redirect the users to 404 Page not found page.
Some of the smart list posts.

Hi Bogdan,
Unfortunately this not an option due to the fact that I am not the one writing the article but around 50 people. It’s hard to explain to each one of them that they have to do this each time they write a smart list article.
As I saw in the code of wp_booster and more specific the get_content function. if a post is a smartlist the function returns the smart list so the parts that are being used in order to display the ad are not executed therefore they are not displayed. is there a way where the ads are executed and returned with the smart list?
Hi,
If you want place an ad at the top of the smartlist, you can simply add it inside the post content when editing the smartlist without altering the theme files. Add it as a html code directly above the smartlist title: http://screencast.com/t/vvNfuOgfNY
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately there is no quick solution at the moment as smartlists that change the url always open the page from the top. I will add this suggestion to our list for future updates.
Thank you!
Hi, I’ve a request. I’m using Smartlist 7 for a post, but when I go to next or previous page, the page load from begin. Is it possible for next release to set an anchor in the heading used by smartlist instead to show header for first? Or is there any solution right now?
Thanks
Hi.
It’s not a bug if it was not added. The definition of a bug is something that is not working as expected. For these elements, they work as expected as the code for these items was not added in the smartlist. So technically it’s not a bug as the smartlists works exactly as the developer intended them to. I understand that the components are missing but this was a decision made when the smartlists were created. I will pass this information on to the development team and hopefully we will introduce these elements in a future version of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
Now your site is in maintanance mode so we cannot access it. Please try the following.
1. Create a sub-domain
2, make a fresh install of WP without rtl
3 Install the theme and visual composer only
4 Test the footer
If you still get this border on that sub-domain with no custom modification, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can inspect this issue. If your main site has layput issues due to customization done to the theme, please remove your custom code and check again.
Thank you!
Hello,
The smartlists work in a different way than the normal post/article. The title and alt tags were not added to the smartlist element. At the moment there is no solution to implement the title and alt tags to the smartlists. I will ad this to our update list and hopefully in a future version of the theme we will be able to implement them.
Thank you!
Hey Tagdiv,
i noticed that images in smartlists don’t show alt and title attributes. I changed the smartlist to a normal post and the attributes appeared again!
Here is my example page: https://las-vegas-reisen.net/informationen/gruende-fuer-deine-las-vegas-reise
Hi,
Please provide more details to how you highlight the ads as I;m not sure exactly what it means. I suspect it’s the titles for the ads. If this is the case, then the smartlist and bottom ads as well as the article top and the header ad do not have an option to add titles to them.
Thank you!
Hello moor,
Please try to make a new clean install from scratch with the latest version of the theme and required plugins via FTP and check if your problem is still there -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/. Also, please try to use the theme without any untested plugins because these could interfere with the theme and might create a lot of unknown issues. Please keep in mind that we cannot provide RTL support because that involve custom work and this type of services are not covered by our support policy, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/
Thaks for your understanding!
Hello Leo,
Unfortunately, our theme has not been designed to be used in RTL mode, sorry! Please notice that if you want to make to work well in RTL support, you will have to do some additional customizations that involves custom work. If you need this layout and you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Also, please check our support policy, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello.
If I switch the language of my WordPress site to Hebrew – the theme indeed makes direction changes automatically.
The problem is that many elements do not fit and “sit” correctly.
How can I get full and “beautiful” RTL support without messing with the CSS?
It should support RTL out-of-the-box, doesn’t it?
Hello moor,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are using RTL mode for your website. Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option for RTL mode and because it has not been designed to be used in this mode, sorry! Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Try to revert the theme to the default state, without untested plugins, clear all your caches and let us know if your problem is still there after these changes.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The words on some posts using Smartlist 2 seems to have dissappeared. Photos and headings are still there but text in the body of the article is not showing up in the front end. Example: http://travel2next.com/things-to-do-in-munich-germany/
Strangely, other posts with the same smartlist are fine. Like this one
http://travel2next.com/8-things-to-do-in-penticton-bc-canada/
Also, ads are not appearing in the body of posts using smartlist. Why?
We updated to 7.1.1 yesterday.
Hope you can help asap.
Thanks!
Will it be possible for you to add a new serting in plugin menu to show ads above Next-Previous button in mobile view?
The plugin already have an option to show ads above content in smartlist and an ad spot after content will be useful for many! ☺
Hi
Thanks for the quick reply. I know that the 7day post count does not represent the total views, but that is exactly why I want to be able to use that option. The sorting option was activated shortly after we started with the web site, so that can’t be an issue (and the ajax count view option you mentioned is activated). So this leaves me with the same issue since the latest theme update (and is not affecting articles published before the moment we updated the theme).
Is anybody else having the samen issue of can you reproduce it? My questions are basicly still the same:
1. What is causing the 7days post counter to register extra views
2. Why is post_view_count not affected
3. What can I do to get the correct number of views logged at post_views_count_7_day_total
Regards
Wilbert
Most of us have been using AMP plugin from Automattic with TagDiv themes since Nov. 2015; and with roll out of the AMP protocol. So, my pages are being served in AMP for several months now since it officially launched mid-Feb.
SO, why wait? You can enable AMP support “right now” with couple of clicks.
The official WordPress AMP plugin is working on 50,000+ WordPress websites NOW including WP VIP clients.
Since this is made by Automattic, who make WordPress, it’s the safest route to doing this and doing it correctly, to support WP posts.
This is why most theme devs are not adding separate AMP supportll just like it’s not necessary to replicate ecommerce or forums, when there are already WordPress-funded agnostic solutions out there, including things like a beta Facebook articles plugin, etc.
Just food for thought.
Hi,
I am adding am embed image or video with a code like this.

I have tested it couple of times and in all cases the CPU and the number of processes rise is very big no matter what picture or video is used and no matter the channel. The code I provided is just an example. You can test with any code. This happens when people are reading the article (right after opening). After removing the script the CPU usage and the number of processes significantly drop even if there are more people reading the same article.

Hello,
Our theme has no RTL support unfortunately and we have no plan on implementing it in the near future. Implementing RTL support in our theme will require 2 style.css files and it will add significant “weight” to the theme. At the moment, the only way to implement a rtl language and layout is with custom modifications we cannot provide. Sorry. you can hire a freelancer from sites like studio.envato.com to help out in this matter as lots of elements have to be adjusted.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
1) This is caused by the mobile theme. The smartlists get converted to a standard smartlist that has no swipe function. Lots of things get converted on the mobile theme to reduce as much of the load as possible and provide faster response. You can read more about the mobile theme here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
2) You can do it by altering the theme files like so: http://screencast.com/t/0z46NtC1F
Thanks.
