i am constructing a site in Arabic language and Arabic is RTL language , i noticed in the header styles available that there is no option for making the logo on right and the menu on left , and also the menu items in the main menu arranged from left to right so the main page menu item begin at the most left which is right for English languages but its reversed for RTL languages so how i can have a header that the logo on right and the menu on left and menu items begin from right , also i am suggesting to add this header style in your next updated as one of the options since many RTL use this setup
Hoping I can get some help troubleshooting and fixing this issue. I installed Newspaper version 7.1.1 and shortly after I noticed the WordPress dashboard was no longer loading correctly. It basically isn’t loading JS and CSS properly any more.

This only happens if I have Newspaper active. If I switch the theme to 2015, the dashboard displays correctly.
I have tried clearing my cache, rolling back to earlier versions of the theme, disabling ALL plugins, and disabling PageSpeed. None of these fixed the issue.
However, if I add define('SCRIPT_DEBUG', true); to my wp-config, the dashboard will display correctly.
Any ideas on what is wrong and how I can fix this issue?

I do the RTL myself, and it worked fine for 6 month now until your change at 7.x with the mobile menu.
I have tried to go back and upload the older theme version but wordpress 4.5.2 refused to worked (error 500), so i am stack in the middle with no solution.
Need any solution to this situation. Going back is an option for the theme, not for wordpress.

You can use V 6.x of the theme as it will work fine with V 4.5.2 of wordpress. Unfortunately we cannot offer support for rtl as adapting the theme, or a specific part of it, to that style involve a new approach for that feature. You can try to use an older version if that worked fine before but we can’t guarantee that this would be the best solution. It may be a chance that older version of the theme to not be compatible with next version of WordPress and if that will happen you will have to update.
If you want to use rtl style with the theme but you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard my advice is to look for someone who can help you with implementation or hire a freelancer to do it for you as we can’t offer custom work at the moment.

Hi I have made some testing and it did related to the RTL.
Now, i have a serious issue here because i’m in a trap – i can’t downgrade and moving to the older theme (6.x), but the wordpress newer version (4.5.x) can’t support it. so i have to use the latest theme and it’s not function!!
You have to assist me to go back to the old menu UI and removing the JS of the new menu. This is major issue that i can’t resolve and can’t go back!!

Please notice that our theme has not been designed to be used in RTL mode, sorry! Most likely, this type of issue appears because our theme does not support RTL mode. Please try to revert the theme to the default state, clear all your caches and test it again and check if this type of problem reappears. Also, if you have a lot of customizations, please notice that we cannot provide support for this type of settings. Also, the RTL customizations are not covered by support, sorry! If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Also, please ensure that this issue does not come from your untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. If your problem is still there after this advice, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer.

i have inspected your site and the smartlist issue is caused by an open html tag. Please inspect your site in text mode and make sure you have all html tags closed and elements not inside one another. Creating a smartlist in visual mode can sometimes cause this issue as html is not edited properly by the mce editor. Please check for html open tags and create a new dummy smartlist to see if the problem is still there on every smartlist you create.

I have upgrade to version 7.1 and i have serious issue with the new mobile menu in my website is right to left and now on the mobile view, the page open with left scrolling and sometimes it open blank (white paper) and then you need to scroll right.
If i click on the mobile menu it looks fine, when i close it the page jump gain to the left white blank area.
What can i do?!
P.S: i did the RTL customization myself and it worked fine until this upgrade. i have disable all of my customization just to check, and the issue is still there.

If I use the post template = from panel + smartlist, shouldn’t the ads in-line be presented inside the post (according to the paragraph numbers) or not?
Because the post which I did this is not presenting the “post ad in line”.

I have created a new sitemap with the recomended seo plugin (seo yoast) and a new post I created using style 11 (video post) shows up properly: http://screencast.com/t/RwoVtFAOYyBt
The smartlist pages will not show up in any sitemap as a smartlist represents a single post, not multiple posts.
I;m not sure what tool you use for creating your sitemap but please use seo yoast as it is tested to work properly with our theme

Any videos embed with Post 11 types are not showing in video sitemap, how can i make it work, also smartlist multiple pages are not included in sitemaps too how can i fix this?

1. The posts are displayed like her: http://www.screencast.com/t/00FGXlRy1LS because of rtl style. I’ve mentioned in my previous replies that the theme does not have support for rtl. You will have to adapt it’s style to rtl in order to have a good looking layout for the site.
2. A clean install means that you don’t touch theme’s code at all. It also means that you don’t use any custom css, js or any untested plugin. Make sure you do a clean install staring from latest wp version to latest theme’s version then test the mobile menu again. Try this on a new sub-domain or on your local computer without any custom code.

If you want us to help, please provide more details to what smartlist you use as the image you provided is from a mobile version of your site. Also specify if you use the mobile theme plugin or not, as the code is different.

The smartlists are very sensitive to open html tags. Please try to edit your smartlist posts in text mode and make sure the heading tags are closed properly. Open elements ten=d to break the sidebar.

Please notice that our theme has been designed to be used only in LTR mode and not in RTL mode because the theme does not support this type of style, sorry! Understand that for all smartlists except #1. This one is the one I’ve chosen in the hope to generate impressions, as this one has unique URLs and all pages are able to load separately in a browser. If this can’t like the other, is there a way to realize that?

This depends on the smartlist you chose. Smartlists do not generate different post views as they are part of the same post. The hits will only be counted on the first page of the smartlist.

I have tested on my side and I can recreate this issue with some Arabic language…try to disable your RTL and see that this problem disappears. If you want to adjust our theme with this kind of language support, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to implement this functionality for you in our theme because it is not a simple task and requires custom work and we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!

Yes issue still there. Try your self http://kapten110.96.lt/ this is a new website on new host i created it just to be sure that problem isn’t related to my server or cache. If you have WordPress site just change the language to Arabic “which is RTL” and see the result. It’s not the only issue that is related to RTL site language. All sliders displays white spaces instead of images and post style 8 doesn’t show featured image on mobile device.
