I’m using a few custom functions to manipulate the output of some posts. I’d like to able to target posts that use the smartlist format.
What do you suggest as the best way to do this?
Is there an identifier I can add to this code block (or some other workaround)?

Unfortunately I;m unable to see the “post slider” as you changed the smartlist type and it does not slide now.
In any case, this issue is generally created by plugin conflicts: (browser console errors: http://screencast.com/t/nnR3XDUV) Multiple things break when plugins create conflicts. Please check your search widget in the menu. It does not work as well. That is a js error you have going on.
Please try to deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cahche and reset cdn files if you use it.
Then check the smartlists again.

I’ve setup a smartlist using SmartList Style 1. I’ve selected H6 tag to identify and render smart lists.
I’m wanting to have the smart list run in the middle of my post (I have 2 opening paragraphs, my smartlist, then 2 closing paragraphs). What’s happening is that these 2 closing paragraphs are being added to the 5th slide inside my smartlist.
I have this post scheduled to launch live tomorrow.
Here’s the code I’m using:

you can try to implement the code inside the smartlist files like the screenshot i showed in the above replies, but i cannot offer a precise answer as we have not tested facebook comments at all with our theme. People use them but we cannot say for sure they will work with our smartlists.

Thank you Caitlin for your response. I do know about the Vimeo and Youtube video playlists which is wonderful. On occasion, we do add embed codes to our post pages in the text tab. Unfortunately things are not as simple as it looks like. These types of smartlists, even though it seems they are on the same page and could be like a simple post, they are not. Every section of the smartlist is separated from the other. If you place an ad inside the php file by hard-coding, this will be the result: http://screencast.com/t/hKvYLgjo – it will place the ad after each title of the smartlist. This is the way smartlists work. It’s the same if you use a sliding smartlist. ALternatively you can have a single ad on top of the smartlist: http://screencast.com/t/8NU01k2h but there is no way of adding it like an article inline ad after a set paragraph.
Depending on the position you place the shortcode inside the file, here is the code for the first implementation with multiple ads: http://screencast.com/t/pa6xuzfoaMN by using this code:

I am trying to follow the support guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/ for creating a Post that contains a SmartList. I have followed the instructions, however, the post is showing an extra thumbnail in each list, which seems redundant to me.
I have selected Post Template: Style 5 (and tried Style 7) and I have selected Smart List Style 2 (and also tried Style 5).
Any ideas on how to get this extra image to disappear? You can see an example of what it looks like: here.

I think this is a problem that multiples users have had already, and would it be nice if we could find a solution to it that is not posting the add shortcode in hundreds of articles.
Moreover, I dont see the point of removing the inline article from smartlist (specially 2, 3 and 4) since they look like a regular post, only with numbered sub-headings.
Could it be possible to edit the smartlist or inline ad php file in order to achieve this in a global way on the site?

Hi,
Smartilsts will ignore article inline ads by default. You can make use of the smartlist ads: http://screencast.com/t/iPn5Ylni or manually insert ads inside the post content by using the visual composer shorcode of an adbox. Create a dummy page and add an ad box on the page. Then access the classic mode and text mode of the mce editor. The copy the shortcode inside your post content and the ad will display inside the smartlist. Unfortunately you will have to add it manually for every smartlist.

Hi,
the smart lists are very sensitive to open HTML tags. You must inspect the post in text mode and check if the items have their own tags and that these are closed properly. Sometimes wordpress adds elements inside each-other’s tags if you only use the visual mode to create the content. Please test the smartlist on a dummy post and simply add a few titles and images without any complex elements and check if the paragraphs are closed properly and the heading tags as well.

Unfortunately we cannot assist as you except because our theme does not support RTL. The only way to do it is either with customization or plugins.
By inspecting your website I see that you already customized the layout. Sorry but we have no solution to properly convert the layout to RTL as all elements need to be adapted to the new layout.

As for the smartlist title slug, I’m not sure how you can achieve this as we have not tested it. It will probably need some custom work done on the smartlist files. Sorry but we fo not have a solution for this.
