I saw that, but the LightBox option is not available. It’s a mystery, if the option became available, the gallery might work with pop-ups. Why is this option unavailable?

1. The part of the screen where the Drop Cap is visible.
2. Setting in the administration when writing the content of the page.
3. My try to change the color, but the color of the whole text changes and the Drop Cap remains blue :-((

Hi Anamaria I thought I saw that Flipboard was being added to Social Share, however I just updated to Ver 11.5 of Newspaper and it is still not available to add from my control panel.
Is there anything I can do to get it to appear under sharing options on my posts?

1. Please check the settings from the homepage and apply them for the other pages too.
2. You can copy paste the elements in the other page as well.
3. There is only 1 element displaying on 2 rows. So, you can limit the flex block at 4 posts and add other flex block with limit 4 and offset 4.(or copy paste it). For more information about the settings, please check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
4. You use the Mobile Theme plugin, so you can not modify that because there are only some settings in the Theme panel -> Mobile theme.
We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there or adjust them to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. I see AMP is used on the website, and all mobile visitors are redirected to the AMP version.
In this case, in the AMP version, the sharing buttons don’t work in the same way as in the responsive version or when using the mobile theme alone. Using the share buttons in the AMP version will indeed not open a new window/tab, they will open in the same one, or with the social applications if they are installed on the mobile.
I can’t provide a solution for this unfortunately. I could add this on our list, maybe it can be done, but I can’t promise anything unfortunately.

There can be other cases why WhatsApp doesn’t share the post correctly. The rest of the socials all have debugging tools, WhatsApp does not. Normally the issue is with the size of the images, in case the image is not displayed when sharing. But there can be other issues.
I checked a post from the website, Facebook sees the image

But trying it with WhatsApp, there is no image when sharing this post.
The og image meta tag is in the page https://i.imgur.com/WbzC5kO.png
And it is not too large. All the other socials use it, besides WhatsApp. I cannot explain why this happens however. The theme would have nothing to do with the sharing. Yoast loads the og meta tags, and the socials use them.
I had a similar case recently, everything was in order on the website, same as here, but still the WhatsApp share would not work consistently. For some posts it worked and for others it did not. I tried various suggestions found online https://stackoverflow.com/questions/19778620/provide-an-image-for-whatsapp-link-sharing And I tried with a default WordPress theme as well.
But no definite solution was found so far. If I would have a solution, I would gladly provide it.

That depends, which social sharing button are you referring to? Pressing the sharing buttons on mobile may open the mobile apps, to share the post. For example pressing the WhatsApp sharing button will open the WhatsApp app.

In an old version of the Newsmag theme (4<), Sharing via whatsapp worked fine. But I recently bought the new version and since the update it has stopped working. Not even now, with version 5. This only affects shares via whatsapp. It is not a break for the size of the image, according to Whatsapp standards. Neither the image (thumbnail) nor the post description appears in the share. The og:image tag seems to be correctly added, so it works for other networks (eg FB, IG, Telegram). But it doesn’t work for Whatsapp. I’ve been trying to solve this problem for a year, without identifying what the cause is!
I’ve seen posts from other users with the same problem on Newspaper. And an admin recommended a Yoast Forum post. I use Yoast on dozens of websites and it’s not the problem as it works on all of them. I only have problems on the site that uses the Newsmag theme.

I’v had a look in the Time-Machine section under Updates, and I can’t see the version that Calin had suggested, which is “Newspaper v111 package”.
Is there anyway I can get a link to download this version. I’m doing a lot of running around to find it with no success.

I am new to Newspaper theme. I just bought it and installed it yesterday and trying to adjust some look and feel of my website. I am facing some issues while fine tuning some vertical spacing / gaps between elements. I don’t see any options to reduce the vertical spacing for several elements. I watched some of your YouTube videos but unfortunately most of them are for older version of the theme and did not get my answer from those videos.
I am not mentioning my website address here because I am not sure if this ticket/ppst is visible to public or only to you(support staff). I have not yet officially launched the site so don’t want to disclose the URL in public yet. If this ticket is private (only support staff), I don’t mind sharing the URL with you. But I have attached the screenshots of my problems here.
Secondly, I want to know how to hide the reCaptch image that is shown in the bottom right corner of the website. Its looking ugly and I want to hide it. I did not find any option to do so.
Please see images and let me know how to fix these things.

I haven’t uploaded anything to the cloud template so far. If I select import does it import all the template content and setting or only the template setting?

We’re having an issue since we’re using the elements “Slide” and all the imagens seem to get too blurry. I’m experiencing an issue where the header is overlapping elements (e.g. header text) of the main content area as well as sidebar (e.g. header text) on certain pages. So far, I’ve seen this on Posts pages as well as Search results page. It seems to happen on desktop view only, not mobile.
My WP install and theme should be very clean, have basic plugins and have no customizations or anything else complex.

In the tag div composer on a new blank page, I click on the row settings, then click on the two column layout. The result is two rows in one column. Both rows are full width. If I choose three columns I get three rows and so on. I am unable to create columns despite following the instructions. Any ideas?

We’re making the radical move from Newspaper 9-ish to Newspaper 11.
We ran a child theme modifying the loop-single.php to put in our video player…
Currently I’m working on a local test site.

We used custom fields to enter files etc, and had an if-else statement to hide the player when there was no video and placing the code just under the get_content.
In 11 I can’t get this to work.
1) I’ve tried a child theme not using the Standard Pack Plugin
2) I’ve tried a child theme using the Standard Pack Plugin

3) I’m not using the right template.
4) Probably a bunch of other things
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
