Hello,
I did this, but still not working, my search in header is also not working nor smart sidebar.
I am running newsmag with a standard sidebar, smart sidebar is activated. I recently joined a different ad network and here is what they replied to me:
With your current setup, as your page shrinks in width, your sidebar also shrinks in width. Since our ads in your sidebar will have a fixed width of 300 pixels, this means that some users not viewing your page in full screen or on smaller devices could see part of the sidebar ads cutoff, which could put you at risk for an ad policy violation, and we definitely want to avoid that.
What we need is your sidebar settings changed so that the sidebar stays a fixed width of at least 300 pixels as your page resizes, breaking to the bottom of the page at 1023 pixels of page width. This ensures that all users on all devices see the ads properly.
How can I achieve this?

Just on the AdRotate plugin suggestion, it won’t allow you to do that either. You would also have to have a different sidebar for each post.
There are more advanced plugins that will do it but it will turn into a management nightmare once you start getting 200-300 posts or more. I have a different sidebar for each category and even that takes a bit of time to manage changing ads.
Waste of time for Amazon anyway, their native ad system is smart enough to work out what you’re selling or writing about 90% of the time.
Hello, I have Smart Sidebar enabled in settings (Theme Panel > Template Settings > Smart Sidebar), however, it’s not working.

The sidebar ads on posts can be made non sticky by disabling the smart sidebar option from the theme panel:

I already provided this guide above. PLEASE read the documentation as we are here to help but it is best practice to read the documentation before asking a question here on the forum. We put a lot of time and effort into the documentation and most of the theme what’s and how’s are covered there.

As for the ad boxes and the gap, you use separate rows on the sidebar so your sidebar is split in 3. That mens that the sidebar element will wait for the other sto show up with all content before showing the next row. You have the row set to shoe on the left the block most popular with 5 posts and on the right, the ad box with 2 ads.
It simply waits for the row to finish before showing the next row with content: https://www.screencast.com/t/DcUIkoVkcxR
If you want a continous sidebar and no gap between elements, add it on the same row and there will be no more gaps.

I have checked your console and I noticed that you have a lot of js errors as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/62bPU9cOLZcy Also, I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause these errors. Please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual cOmposer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, if the problem is still there, please make a new clean install via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Notice that the smart sidebar is a sensible functionality of sidebar and if you will have some interferences between JavaScript code, this will not work and that’s why it is very important to rule out all your untested plugins which might cause these errors from your console.

Thanks for your answer, but unfortunately the smart sidebar would not work on some pages.
Take here for example : http://www.emprunter-malin.com/simulateur-cout-credit/, I have set the class name as td-ss-row as sugested here https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/, but the sidebar doesn’t follow the scrolling.
Any suggestions ?

1)The latest version of Newsmag is 3.3.1. You should update it from ThemeForest, via FTP way.
2)Yes, it is available and for pages. You should setup according to our guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/ In the future, please read our documentation because there you will find all the available settings from our theme.

If you want to want to make your sidebar to be smart, you should enable to form Theme panel. For more information about this feature, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/ Also, as you can see, all the controls about author template can be made from Theme panel, as I explained you above. Also, if you want to limit the posts displayed, you should change the general post list from WordPress, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/n7JRnKXibp
If you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Question 2 : if I understand well the smartsidebar is not available for the pages anymore, just for the posts. Is there a way to have the smart sidebar for the pages as well ?

I’ve already configured that, I need to know how to set the content block to show only posts from the current author, ie. if on David Henry profile, I need to limit the posts to only David Henry.
As this sidebar is used across all Authors, it needs to be smart enough to know which is the current author, just like on your demo;)

Sidebar is moving on the screen even though it shouldn’t ’cause width is not enough for it.

I figured it out the client made changes to the existing layout that prevented the smart sidebar from functioning properly. I have since fixed those changes allowing for the smart sidebar functionality to work. Thanks anyway !
The smart sidebar was not working and the theme was updated as well as the visual composer plugin and the smart sidebar still is not working on the home page. It appears to be working on the category pages. Please advise as this is also causing a large blank whitespace on the home page as well.

I’m using Style 7 of the newspaper theme and want to have the header in “Always sticky”-mode and using Smart sidebars (no top bar).
After using these settings, there is a minor visual bug. The Smart sidebar sticks so that the block title of the first block sits some pixels under the sticky header. See this picture:
The problem seems to be the value of “top” in the style=”” part. When inserting e.g. the value top: 88px: the smart sidebar is correctly positioned and flows well when the page is scrolled.

These values seem to be inserted with some script while user scrolls through page. Where can i change this to show correctly?

This is my home page.
If you try to scroll from up to down, viewing the ‘right column’ (the right side)
you can see the first block that move perfectly (like sticky/smart sidebar)
to show a perfect alignment. this is screenshot:
if you go down, you find a second block that has ‘td-ss-row’ as well, but this
wont not move/scroll. this is screenshot:
if you go down again, you can find the third block with ‘td-ss-row’, but this
don’t want to move/scroll too. this is screenshot:
Shortly: I can move with sticky/smart effect only first block abowe,
so where I do wrong?

I’m new wprocket user and everything it’s ok but i have only one problem i can’t resolve, my smart sidebar stop to work.
I read some post about and exclude this file from javascript minification :
/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.js
But smart side bar still not work.
Some WP Rocket user find solution ?
