Ho Bogdan
I use SSL and home url is not the root.
Where should I check it ? General settings are fine.
Infact, everything works fine after upgrade, except the TD Composer as explained.
I’m running new version since some days.
Tried Uninstalling all the plug in but nothing changes as an ameater i am not a programmer but i ran my site flawlessly for last 3 months. now its very painfull. and i cant add any codes to header.php
Hello,
Yes it could be a well known error. Please make sure your home url matches the site url. If you implemented ssl, please make sure they are https links and not http
Thank you!
Hello alisamig,
You can have https and use the theme properly but you need the right configuration.
Please use these settings for Cloudflare:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
and use these guides for proper SSL integration:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-ssl-and-https-in-wordpress/
https://css-tricks.com/moving-to-https-on-wordpress/
https://yoast.com/dev-blog/move-website-https-ssl/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/moving-to-ssl/
Thank you!
Hi, also check if admin-ajax.php is being blocked by your host or if you have any rules in your htaccess that can block theme panel or theme files access.
Please also check your ssl implementation and make sure it is done properly.
Thank you!
Hello,
Sorry but unfortunately if the back-up was not able to save your content, then there is nothing more to be done except re-create the lost content. The theme has no influence over the content. WordPress keeps it in the DB, not the theme. As for the blank screen, please disable all plugins and clear all caching and then test again. We cannot recreate this issue on our end. It could be a plugin conflict or a ssl problem or a server configuration issue. Please check to see if the home url and site url have been changed to https after the ssl implementation.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please check the ssl implementation and make sure the home url and the site url are both in https if you have ssl active.
Also please disable all other plugins except the tagdiv composer and clear all caching.
Also make sure you memory allocation is done properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thank you!
Hello,
This usually happens because of ssl implementation not done properly. Please change the site url and home url to https if you have ssl enabled.
Also please make sure you do not use any untested plugins. Disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
I have identified the problem.
If you have an antivirus / firewall in your PC and have active Web protection / Scan SSL (for example Bitdefender & Kaspersky) – this might be your problem.
Disable Web protection / disable scan SSL in your PC antivirus / firewall and the speed in WordPress backend (logged in users) – will back to normal.
Depends on hosting plan with GoDaddy as they roll that out…
with dedicated or VPN, see:
https://www.godaddy.com/help/install-a-lets-encrypt-ssl-apache-20245
Shared/managed hosting:
If your hosting setup on GoDaddy uses cPanel with GoDaddy, you can install the Let’s Encrypt SSL cert for free, however as of last look it needed to be manually updated every 3 months as the auto-update option was not yet enabled with the cPanel plugin.
Or switch to one of the many top hosting providers who *do* support it 🙂
Obviously GoDaddy makes a lot of money off selling validated SSL certs annually, so they are not going to kill that business — but they need to support LE as it’s being pushed by a lot of big players like Google, etc. who are basically forcing everybody to do SSL/HTTPS/TLS or get a warning sticker.
Of course; none of that is related to updating site content for ANY https/TLS environment.
Cheers. I’m no longer on this board as of Feb. 17, so take care all! 🙂
I did that on my website website, and i believe there are many hosting services which do not provide free ssl cert. Like mine, Godaddy didn’t.
Apart from that, Cloudfare is really a need, it’s a good “Free” Cdn with additional speed boosting with rocket script.
All good web hosting providers now offer Let’s Encrypt SSL certs for free, so ‘free’ certs is not a main element for choosing a solution for https.
However, you still need to search/replace content in your post meta which has http such as placed images to be https. And any theme panel elements like social links for RSS feed, logo links, favicon link, etc. need to be updated.
We’ve done about 50 conversions from http to https since 2014 with WordPress. The way I outline above is recommended, but simply dumping stuff onto a CDN won’t fix all that either.
Lots of choices, obviously. 🙂
You don’t need to use any plugin. All you need is Free Cloudfare Cdn, it provides ssl certificate for free. Then you will have to add it on your hosting. To check the errors, you will have to do view source of page and find any element that messes with the fully https functionality.

Along with greet, to improve our website we changed from Http to Https, and we took the Really Simple SSL plugins compatible with our website, but that caused the web to be deconfigured, it was slower and not all the photos came out.
Then we went back to uninstall the SSL pluggins, but the web deconfiguration error still does not load all the content.
We have reviewed in other browsers and present different errors and slow loading of the page.

Just recently bought and installed the version 8.6 on a test server and it worked flawlessly, but today I installed the new version 8.7 on the main server it didn’t work. It installed okay but when I apply any function in the theme panel, the spinning indicator just spins and spins but doesn’t proceed.
I later deleted everything and reinstalled the theme again using ftp but still the same thing.
I later also deleted all plugins and tried again but still the same thing.
The system status shows everything is okay, including the max_execution_time, WP Memory Limit, etc.
Please help!
Thanks Simon for your assistance. After a lot of trials, I was able to solve”The Current Content Page hasn’t been created by tag div composer” problem. In my case, it seems to be coming from the SSL certificate that Inmotion support team installed. The problem started after I secured the wp-admin login.
Tag Div Composer started working when I set the website to https from the WordPress general settings.
However, I had already updated the Newspaper theme from version 8.1 to 8.6 and the issue was solved without changing to https.
I was pissed off by several things in the new theme version. Starting from the minor – the weather app now requires API key. That wasn’t even the main issue. The empty roll and column settings were not responding – which means I won’t design or redesign a page the way I want. This is the main issue. The slider grid was not working too. I tested all these on a new page too.
I attached the images below.

Hi Simion.
I dont want use joost de walk’s plugin anymore – its unsupported, rubbish, causing lost of buggy crosslinks in the wp-database – and very hard to clean off from the database once you activated..
I use the much better plugin WPSSO.
But, my question still about : – how may I can set more sizes if using tagdiv newspaper theme?
If I put my requested sizes in the wp-settings – media sizes screen – it not makes any change, since tagdiv takes over the control of media sizes.
Also, same applies when I put directly the code into the function.php.
Which files I have to edit to add the xtra sizes?
add_image_size( ‘new-custom-size’, width, height, crop mode );
Thank you,
Zoltan
Thanks Bogan for you suggestion, I’ve contacted the host, Siteground and this is what they have done and say …
Graham Carter: Hi, have uploaded a new website yesterday and added an SSL certificate, all appears to be working OK until I access the wsiwyg front end, I can’t see anything! The suppliers of the theme made this comment when I contacted theri support, so it is SSL related they believe?
Graham Carter: This question is related to account:crazyweb.co.uk
Graham Carter: ————————————————————————————– Hello, The most common cause for this issue is the ssl implementation where your site url and home url do not match. Ivaylo Ivanov: Hello, Graham
Ivaylo Ivanov: Welcome to SiteGround Hosting Services!
Graham Carter: Hi Ivaylo
Ivaylo Ivanov: Can you please tell me which is the website, Graham? 🙂
Graham Carter: The domain is drw.org.uk
Graham Carter: When I go into wsiwyg editing mode a I get blank screen
Ivaylo Ivanov: I am checking the recommended steps as we speak
Graham Carter: Thank you Ivaylo …
Ivaylo Ivanov: Alright, so everything seems perfect on a sever level, can you please provide me with your WordPress logins, so I can check there as well ?
Graham Carter: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Ivaylo Ivanov: As I have checked everything on a server level is properly updated, as well as the URLs are matching, I also reinstalled the SSL and installed it again
Ivaylo Ivanov: So I do believe, unfortunately, it would be best to double check again with the guys from tagdiv
Graham Carter: OK, I’ll try it now and see if I can access the pages, if not I’ll go back to tagDIV tomorrow when the helpline is open
Ivaylo Ivanov: Yes, as soon as you have more information and we as your hosting provider can help you more, please reach us back
Graham Carter: Nope, still can access the wsiwyg front end, so I’ll drop the theme provider another request for help, Thanks for trying to resolve Ivaylo

I still can’t access the front end using wysiwyg via the tagdiv composer, all I get is a blank screen, back to you Bogdan, can you suggest the next move, or maybe checkout the website, I can give you login credentials

Hello,
There are blocks that already provide the read more button so adding them to a block that does not have such an implementation will be too big of a hassle when the implementation is already there for blocks: 12, 13, 20, 22, 23 and 24
You can implement it through coding if you want to:

Thank you!
This is what I get: “Download failed. cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed”

Hello there! I need some help.
I already checked the page How to use custom post type and taxonomy, and downloaded the suggested plugin td-custom-post-type. It seems to me that this is a “plugin way” to add CPTs other than my “child theme way” to add them.
I’m working with a Newspaper’s child theme, the files cpt-events.php and cpt-photos.php are required from functions.php. Then I rebuild the permalinks from /wp-admin/options-permalink.php whenever I add or remove the require lines.
The issue is that, upon adding these CPTs, TagDiv Composer no longer loads after clicking the button that links to /wp-admin/post.php?post_id=SOME_ID&td_action=tdc
Both CPT files were generated from Generate WP and everything else (other than TagDiv Composer) works flawlessly.
To make things even stranger, after removing cpt-events.php and cpt-photos.php require lines from functions.php, and rebuilding permalinks, TagDiv Composer continues not loading. It will only work if I restore a database backup saved right before activating the CPTs.
I don’t have an URL so that you could login in wp-admin. I’ve been testing it on my local development environment.
I’d like to know if you could take a look in the linked php files. I’m not aware of any CPT setting in those files that could trigger this behavior (composer not loading), perhaps you can spot it.
Thank you Dr.Varun… as I am beginner you really helped alot.
please, can you help me with SSL thing, because I got that advice from you and successfully added it.
Now it seems it’s not displaying, and I used https://www.whynopadlock.com/ to discover where is the error.
Screenshot of only errors:https://drive.google.com/open?id=14EJCrjeIm-xjTLXNauFH3Bs8yD68r_8S
This is error and as I am the beginner I simply do not understand what should I do with this and how to solve it.
Also isn’t this what is reported as an error, actually where a logo is loaded in theme. And logo is displayed on page. I loaded it in wordpress “upload” logo and its visible on page now.
Thank you in advance
D.
