Hi there,
I’ve found a couple of strange things in the amazing Newsmag theme:
1) Even if I set up the sort order filter on the block 7 to “Popular” and also already enabled the 7 Days Post sorting option in the Newsmag theme panel, I can’t get the “most popular” posts listed in the block 7 (http://352.be7.myftpupload.com i.e. “PIU’ VISTI”, PIU’ COMMENTATI” right sidebar). I suppose that the “most popular” post are posts the are most clicked and therefore viewed isn’t it? So, if my site is not published yet, the “most viewed” posts should be the ones I’ve clicked more during my tests, isn’t it? But I can’t get any post at all!
2) Opposite of the above considerations for the “most commented” posts: a list of posts are reported on a block 7 but they have all zero comments! What’s wrong in this case?
3) The top right post filter (Latest, In evidence, Most popular, Random, …) located in the landing page when user clicks on a category mega menù, doesn’t give any posts when “In evidence” option has been seleceted, even if some posts of that category have been flagged as “In evidence”. Why I get this behaviour?

Hi there!

I have a strange problem.

I created an image on the page called states of Brazil “id = 149”

In the MENU setup I set Load the page in the menu (enter the page ID)[ 149 ]

When loading the page displays the map, but the hotspots do not work when I click Ctrl+Shift+I (inspect any element) the map works on the menu.

It can do this work automatically?

hi, as of last night i have realized that my front page images are not showing on the desktop version. The mobile site works fine. I ran a check through 15 DIFFERENT BROWSERS and only ONE shows the site properly and that is Internet Explorer 11. I went ahead and checked with my hosting provider and they said everything is good on their side, i disabled all plugins, cleared the cache on my page, browser…. same result. Deleted the theme and installed it again. It can back with the EXACT same settings which i found strange but anyhow… i would like to get this fixed….

I’ve been very impressed with the theme so far but I’ve run into an odd issue with the formatting of galleries when used on a page. It seems to be messing up the spacing of the images in the gallery. They are not centered and when you switch between them the spacing seems completely out of whack.

Here’s an example of the gallery shortcode used to create the gallery:

Hi

I am having a strange issue.
Whenever I try making changes in theme panel, upon pressing save, the spinning indicator shows up, but nothing more happens.

To make matters worse, everything on the server also takes a nosedive, email, site…. everything just times out.

After 30-60 minutes, stuff works fine again.

Anyone else experienced this??

Hello there,
Today morning we woke up and some of the photos attached as featured images were removed from the posts!
It was strange because only some (6-7) were removed, without any pattern – some new, some older, different categories etc.

They were not at the uploads folder as well.
What could be the reason for this?

Any clues?

PS. I am using WP Super Cache and Smush It.

This morning I’ve noticed something very strange on our site: http://www.n3rdabl3.co.uk. All of the featured images within posts have disappeared as if I’ve turned the “Featured Image” option off in the theme settings, something which I have not done.

I’ve tried a number of things, from deactivating the Featured Image option and activating it again, changing the Featured Image layout, and more. Oddly, videos still appear as normal. It’s a very odd occurrence which I’m completely baffled about.

Any help on this situation would be appreciated!

working on the site when using your theme Magazin, but in Newsmag it does not show. the strange thing is that it shows in the admin in Visual Composer, but on the final page it does not.

any suggestions?

i just purchased and downloaded Newsmag and the version of Visual Composer that is included is v4.6.2.

According to this post:

there is a newer version, but i don’t see any way to update my current version

this page says to upload the newest version from the theme plugins, but that is what i already did:

There is a strange space in the navigation bar on the sports demo. Any ideas as to how to fix it?

Sometimes the image bring with strange “caption” (description of the image), like the image.
We could upload 50 news by day, and if we need to edit every image, it will be take a lot of time.
How we can hide this FigCaption with a custom CSS?
