I have updated to version 6 and regenerated all my thumbnails.
I have a strange issue I would like to solve…
On my menu bar, if I select any category I can see my grid, followed by a list of posts with thumbs:

however, if I select the Reviews one, I get the grid but the list of posts doesn’t have any thumbs:

Any ideas how I can fix this?

This plugin should fix all of your existing thumbs images, but if in the future you upload small images, they will be showing like this. Use images greater than 700×400 or use a plugin like thumbnail upscale.

Well I am using it also for 2 years on old server, this is new server, and new 6.4 version, and it is really strange to me that this does not wrong. On old server I had many more plugins, and all was working.
Support on Friday told me to disable all plugins, clear or caches and test – which I did – and it did not help, I updated that ticket, but no reply since there, thats why I started this topic …

I’m not sure if it’s intensional but my gallery images have a grey vignette coming from the bottom of the image. Also when viewed on an iPhone I also get a strange band at the bottom of the image, and the images do not seem to display as they should.

Strange that because on Chrome and IE the first two are not aligned correctly on my screen but the rest are.

We made some tests on our side with WP Super Cache and it behaved better that W3TC. If W3TC works better for you then use it.
Take a look in the error.log file to see if there’s something strange, also check the traffic logs.

To get the video thumb the theme uses this getThumbUrl function here: http://screencast.com/t/6w4nNuxmH3 so you can sue the thumb url from this variable: $videoThumbUrl

FIXED IT….
For some reason a file or two might have been changed…. I simply delete the wp_booster folder and instead of patching it, I copied a full version of it from the zip that contains the full template.
Then it worked… I’m gonna research for file differences, spot where this strange error was, and if related to tagdiv (thus not my nooby mistake), I’ll post here the results…

The settings are saved in the database, when you switch to another theme wordpress just loads the settings saved for that theme.
@oronmati – that’s strange, the css shouldn’t get lost, if you have a backup use it to recover the lost css.

Regarding the adsense issue… we too experience strange errors with some ads, unfortunately we don’t have a solution for this yet.
The main difference between the themes is the design and newspaper also has some additional header styles, big grids and category templates. The two themes share the same core.
If your testing site is local – Can you access this file?

From the cryptic error message that my code generated it looks like your server could not retrieve our demo image due to a 404 not found error. If you want I can check this out if you provide us with wp-admin access via email: contact@tagdiv.com (please paste a link to this forum thread in the email). This error is very strange and we did not encountered it before.

I also installed JetPack for WordPress and hits seems to tally with GA but not with post counts on the site.

I’m using Newspaper just 20 days. My site has been around for several years and I made the exchange for this fabulous theme. In the early days worked in reasonable condition with all optimizations taught in documentation and forum, but strangely suddenly began to consume all of my VPS resources(CPU 3/ 4G RAM/ Opcache/ Varnish/ W3 cache), causing overload. After much trouble I discovered that the problem was the Visual Composer plugin. Strangely, just the VC be enabled with any theme or even the WP and be in maintenance mode, which still is in the server overloaded state instantly, causing internal server error 500 and leading to think that it is a conflict which neither I, nor the server team could find out.
Well, I did numerous searches in the forum and follow all the tips provided to other users with the same problem, but the only salvation with good results was the SHIM beta which I take me long to figure out just. After seeing the server normalize and vibrate with the SHIM, a new bad surprise: the Tabs feature of Visual Composer plugin was broken on my site.
I would love to guidance to rehabilitate the tabs function through the SHIM. This would be a wonderful help, even with the problem of having to return to the VC and face all that slow in cases of necessary future customizations.
I believe strongly in the powerful help of the staff Tag Div.
