If I understand correctly you want to have a homepage a page like the one for category, maybe you can find something in tagDiv Cloud Library -> https://www.screencast.com/t/omMp0wId , if not you can try to build one with tagDiv Composer and use the flex blocks, those have more options to style the blocks.
Also if you like a category page you can get the shotcodes and set it in a new page, but you’ll still need to edit the page and change those element that are specific to category -> https://www.screencast.com/t/LptAGYXHWe

I found the problem because I do not get the styles in Cloud templeates, and it’s disabling td_composer.
I deactivate it and I see all the designs I’ve made in cloud templeate.

Hi there! Do you know how to delete an empty column and/or empty inner row? It does not show the garbage can logo when you click on it and it does not show the red box in the right bottom to delete it.
It does not have consequences for the lay-out of the website, but is rather annoying white formatting with the TD composer
My full startingpage is looking different since the new update.
If I try to edit the page which i just created a few weeks ago with the old TD Composer an error will occur:
Error at zones: 5(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content
If i change the page template to standard template i can edit it.
But this is not useful at all as i want no footer on my landing / main page.
If i use the blank-template the Container is fully streched and can’t edited.
Hope you will fix it soon.

I’ve upgraded to Newspaper 9.5 but since then tagdiv composer is not working properly.
Each time when I make a change in a page (row, element, etc.), the change will not become visible in real time, tagdiv composer seams to be “hanging” (element stays in shadow mode) and I have to save the page first and refresh the tab before changes become visible…
Secondly, I tried to use WP Bakery Composer as an alternative on a new page BUT the Frontend composer is not visible/active.
I already deactivated and re-installed both plugins but no luck so far…

once selected there is no trash icon and then I get error warning on the screen and crashes everything.

Hi! I have a runing website with the old theme and a development enviroment with Newspaper theme and custom pages built with TDComposer.
How do I:
1) Copy my theme settings to my production enviroment (database, files, export some config xml)? Do I need do “re-do” something manually?
2) Copy TDComposer built pages: is there a way to export each page or a batch of pages and reimport?
If not, can I just copy the code from the page and it will work elsewhere?

Thanks for your quick reply – but unfortunately it did not help me. Let me explain the issue in more detail:
When I started using Newspaper 9 about three months ago, I went through all old content and deleted manually all unnecessary shortcodes from the old theme. Now all shortcodes are from Newspaper 9. I have TD Composer, of course, but have not been using it – all pages are made without any “visual composer”.
Here’s an example of a page (it’s a Page, not a Post):

I would be very happy if you are able to help me with this issue; I’m about to update my other website from Newspaper 8 to 9, and after the update I will have this same problem once again. In that other website Sticky Sidebar works, probably because it’s Newspaper 8.
We just installed Newspaper 9.5 theme and we can no longer edit or create new pages using TD Composer. I just tried to create a new page and when I goto edit with TD Composer it says

This happens also when I try to edit a page that was already build with TD Composer.
Another item I noticed is that you changed the name of header-empty.php to be header-empty1.php in the main theme directory. This removed the Page Builder + Empty Page template. This issue is not as important as I updated our landing page template to use get_header('empty1'); instead of get_header('empty');

I cannot see any header shortcodes in TD Composer?

I recently changed my old website’s theme to Newspaper 9. Now I have a problem with Smart Sidebar: it does not work, because my (old) pages are not created with TD Composer.
Question: is there ANY way to make Smart Sidebar work? I have hundreds of pages, so editing them one by one with TD Composer is not an option. Is there a way to fix this by customizing the code?
P.s. I already searched the forum but did not find a clear answer. Thanks for your reply!

Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme. Also, please notice that we recommend using TD Composer plugin if you want to achieve better theme results. This page builder has been exclusively made for our theme and it seems to return better results. Did you have tried it until now? I tried to:
– uninstall and reinstall the igossip theme
– disable td composer after installing the theme
– delete and reinstall js composer (from the theme plugin folder)
– install plugins to disable gutenberg
– reinstall ALL
I do not know what else to do! I updated wordpress just because I read here that there would be no problems.
I just want to be able to use wp barkery visual composer as before the update.

– is a sample plugin that uses the theme api to add a new module, a new block. This plugin is a very good starting point if you wish to add your own modules or just modify a block / module from the theme.
– the new module can be used on loops
– the new block appears in visual composer

Hi. To what extent can the child-theme be used? … I try to create custom blocks through td_config.php, custom functions through td_module.php in the child-theme and none of this has any effect. Always look in the parent-theme. Any ideas on this? Any ideas on how to create the styles so that in the td_composer mode, playing something from the iframe.css (in the rd composer plugin), you see the blocks live something similar to how it will look in the final edition? Any ideas about this? Thank you!
Did you update the plugins include with theme update also?
These are found in the ‘allfiles’ download, in the /plugins/ folder.
So, if using td-composer plugin, you need to update that along with the theme update.
Error 500 when open wp-admin, after update Install update and activate plugin Tagdiv Composer (Newspaper 9.5).
but everything is ok, when i disable / remove tagdiv composer.
