I used TD composer and inserted single images in 3 columms + widtgetised sidebar.I spend some hours now to figure out what i´m doing wrong, are you able to see whats my problem? as you can see one image have a problem

We recommend using our TD Composer and use there the Single Image element because it’s more powerful and you should bring good results.

sorry, i tried to explain what i’ve usually done, i’m not a webmaster, and not english boy. i think you remarqued it.
i talked about “Category”
so, i don’t know why, all category settings have been changed on my website.
but the worst is now, when i want to change category settings with “Theme Panel / Categories / Category Settings”= nothing change !
by example in a category, i set :
– a header (style 7)
– no top posts style (disable)
– article display view with a module type (M3)
– no sidebar
and that’s it, all the rest by defaut or inactive.
when i click on “SAVE” button = nothing change
this category is empty when i check it on my website, nothing display on the page :
whereas maybe a week ago, this category page and the others were displayed correctly !
i don’t understand why category setting have been changed
and why nothing change when i try to set it with “Theme Panel”
I repeat this, the only way to display a category is to edit a page with “TD-Composer” :
Please, don’t tell me all this is normal, what happened ?

but all my categories settings of my pages are been changed.
i used “a category” = “a page”
All this categories settings were adjusted like i wanted.
and my pages were displayed like i wanted.
I don’t remember to have changed something recently.
I used to set it with “Theme Panel / Categories / Category Settings”
all my categories are here and i changed settings here, and it worked.

the only way to change categories settings is to edit a page with TD composer. it’s not perfect but some elements are missing or are display not like i want or some elements that i can’t delete”

Hi Catalin, thanks but it seems I already have TD Composer 2.1, and the cache was cleared yesterday. I re-installed the theme and it has the latest TD Composer in it. Not sure why that isn’t working.

Ensure that your theme has been installed via FTP way and the TD COmposer has been updated to the latest version of it. The TD Composer should not disappear if you will not remove it, sorry! Try my advice and check the results.

Open the page in the editor and edit the slider with td composer and on the filter tab, just change the filter from random to latest.
yes, I realiazed this and figured an easy work around.
Here is a brief overview:
1. on desktop show the background video as you normally would.
2. use the icon at the top of TD composer to hide this from mobile devices
3. on mobile and tablets, again use the layout icons at the top of the TDcomposer to define the style for each mobile device, and add a custom row just for the mobile device.
4. Use an animated GIF an an image backgorund derived from the video to show only on mobile
5. hide it from from the desktop.
I have it working now and it’s a solid workaround. The gif qaulity could be better, but it is indeed working. I will work on the qaulity later.

I tried with no plugins active, except theme plugins. Right now, it doesn’t appear the 502 bad gateway error, but there’s just a blank page when I click on “Edit on TD Composer”. Can I do more or I have to send you an email at contact@tagdiv.com?
Hello shinobu,
Make sure that your page builder is active (TD Composer or Visual Composer). The tags which are displayed on your frontend seems to come from Visual Composer. I suggest you recreate from scratch that page only with TD Composer, clear all the caches and check the results. Should works.

I have done something wrong with my homepage and I don’t know what. My old homepage works. I redesigned a new page and in the settings linked the new paper. The above link is the result. The header doesn’t display, and the images drop off. They are all there in the TD Composer.
I have clearly done something wrong. Any help would be great.

Hi there,
Since updating to the latest newspaper version I’ve come across a bug when using TD Composer. When using header 6 for text widget elements the option to choose the color no longer comes up. Also not sure if this is related by as seen in the image the top styling of TG composer looks odd, it’s been like that for a while before the update but isn’t a major issue.

Hi – quick question for anyone. In the “Business” demo there is today’s date in a column on the left underneath a big grid. I am using TD Composer and can’t find what element to put in that would change the date. If someone could post how to do that I would appreciate it.

Newspaper theme was working very properly. I was very satisfied customer of newspaper theme. But, now a days, theme is affecting wordpress. I became so frustrated with my messy wordpress that I reset my whole wordpress database to counter the problem but problem remain as usual. I tried another wordpress theme to check that & i found that wordpress theme is working properly. I got HTTP 500 error due to td composer once. However I removed that part. My yoast & other plugins is not working. I think my newspaper theme got malware affected. Please help me .. please…

Hi,
It seems there is an issue with the news ticker element, the color is not applying for the text when configured in the composer. I will add this issue on our list and it will be fixed as soon as possible.
In the meantime as a quick fix, if you want to change the color of the text in the news ticker use a code like this

I believe you are referring to the post being randomized. Please edit the page with the tagDiv composer and select the post sorting you want for each element

There might be a random sort order now, that would be why the posts are randomized with each refresh.
That title is centered by custom design, not a theme or composer option. Each demo contains custom design for styling. Try entering this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS and it should center the title

So I am trying to add a amazon affiliate ad to my front page and it is not working.
I went to Theme Panel – ads – custom ads 1…then I input my amazon ad code into the “Your ad code” box.

I then save settings.
I go to the front page and edit it with TD Composer.
I add an ad box and then go to Use adspot from: custom_ad_1.
I save the page but no ad shows up.

Hi, I’m having a problem with TD Composer. Every I click on “Edit with TD Composer”, it appears “502 bad gateway” with “nginx” under it. What can I do to solve this problem?

Since installing the latest update, TD Composer isn’t working for me either. When I go to ‘edit with TD Composer’ it goes to a blank screen.
I’ve tried deleting and re-installing the plugin multiple times through different methods without any luck.
Could you please fix it for me or tell me how to do so?
My response on the dashboard :
I already read that many times (“The theme will try to update the plugin automatically but seems sometimes it fails. Try to use FTP to install the composer. Remove the previous plugin folder from the uploads folder (if present) and paste the new one from the latest theme package (unzip it first).”
Please have a look and read carefully what I wrote (the trick did it for td composer but it does not work for the td-speed-booster (AMP) and the td-mobile plugins. And of course I’m talking about the latest version of the theme (and the plugins).
We all are loosing time because of such a behaviour (automatic responses without being read carefully).
I understand that there are plenty of people on the list but please, read carefully the topics (Extract : “But this method does not work for td AMP and TD Mobile or speed-booster”). I wanted to change the name of the topics but it is impossible and I don’t want to create another topic (because of the same issue ; it does not make sense).
By the way, on my test-site, I have absolut NO problem and the theme works well (it is the 8.5 version….)

Hello I would like to decrease height of big grids and slide created trough short code section of tagdiv composer. I am not advance level use so I would appritiate if can explain me as simple as posible. I also would appritiate if you could prepare couple of training video on how to use multi purpose plug ins and design a godd landing page.

AND last but not least, it is IMPOSSIBLE to work with a child theme that requires td-composer (it does not recognize the plugins after being uploaded the child theme and activated it).
SO WHAT IS TO DO please ? (I obviously want to work with a child theme).
