Sorry but unfortunately on such an old theme version we cannot say for sure why this happens. If you updated your WordPress and visual composer plugin and not the theme. then the error can come from there.
If you want to have green text just over the image background, you should make them different rows in visual composer. Do not use the same row for all elements as yopu will not be able to target them individually.

As for the sidebar issue, you most likely have an open html tag that breaks the layout. Please try to recreate the page using rows and elements from vc and no custom html tags.

That would be difficult to do, and probably you will have to make the modifications after each theme update, so that may not be a proper method. You could disable the theme socials and use a sharing plugin or use one in addition to the theme sharing options.

@TutoDS If you use Visual composer deactivate the tagDiv composer, then your post should display the same as before. The tagDiv composer will be automatically activated when the theme is updated or installed

Please update your theme to the latest version by using this guide:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and please also disable and delete the tagdiv composer plugin and install it again from the new theme package. The plugin does not update along with the theme. It has to be done manually.

Before that option was introduced there was no choice to make. When a post had reviews the review stars would appear in the modules replacing the other meta. Now that can be controlled by a general setting, the one in the theme panel.

I believe it is a design choice to display either the review stars or the other meta. This option could be added as an option in the tagDiv composer for each block in a future update.

The author box will display the post author name, avatar and description. There would be no other element that can be placed in the post content at the moment. There are plans to modify the post templates functionality in future updates to allow increased possibilities in the post structure and considerable more flexibility.
You could try plugins maybe if you want to add such an element in the post content, maybe you can find a plugin that has what you are looking for. Sorry if this is an inconvenience for you.

The newsmag theme does not have an amp plugin yet, so please use the amp plugin made by ‘Automattic’. If you use the newspaper theme though and posted in the wrong form, then please try to update the theme to the latest version and disable and delete your amp plugin. Then install it again from the main theme package you downloaded from envato. Plugins do not update automatically along with the theme.

That is the theme post sharing section, the socials you select in the theme panel will be displayed in the post page (top and bottom sharing sections)

More socials could be added in future updates. If you would require more sharing options, it would be better and easier to install a sharing plugin than to modify theme files.

4. Simply remove the old theme and install the new one, the theme panel settings will not be lost. Posts and pages will not be lost. These are all saved in the database. After you install the latest version there should be no more problem. This is a guide you can follow
