If the site still does not load properly, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and rest cdn files.

If you are using an older version of WordPress, please check your panel and you will see a warning to update the WP to the latest version. The theme is fully compatible with the Visual Composer version which comes bundled with the theme packet and should not occur any issues in this regard. I have checked your website and I saw that you are using the Newspaper 7.4 which is the previous version of the theme. Update it to the latest version of it which is Newspaper 7.5, use only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches and check the results. If you are suing the mobile theme, the layout of mobile will look like this -> http://screencast.com/t/wTdiOGvMXu and if you did not like this, you should disable the mobile plugin and theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mode, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/PEvPTNRDVK2L

You have to update your version of visual composer. That is why you see the error. You are trying to install a version of VC that is not supported anymore. Please notice that the theme code has been changed a lot with newer updates and that’s why you cannot locate the old code, sorry! Now, you should edit only the td_config.php and have to register your new custom ad code in two places, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/drqt26uCI

The default theme behaviour, in this case, is to display the background image for category page and for articles which are included in this category. Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme, updated via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard and also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them and install only that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins.
If the problem is still there, please provide more details about the issue, provide some useful screenshots where to explain the issue and also, you can provide the website so we can further inspect it closer.

You should have the Newspaper 7.5 version and also, you should try using this only with required and tested plugins which come bundled ith the theme to rule out any conflicting plugins.

People get this error when the update is not done properly or they have custom modifications made.
