I am using updated 7.2 version of newspaper but still facebook likes not updating it showing zero like even it has 200 likes. How can i solve this ???
I just updated the theme, but the website still runs very slow. the speed booster info shows like this “v4.5 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: adminer/adminer.php”.
also the social media icons on the pages home page we can’t link to our social media account, such as Facebook and twitter.
the website has two sites, English and Chinese. on English site, some not translated and still show in Chinese, if you guys can help me to fix it.

B. Update the theme automatically
As the old Envato Toolkit has become deprecated, it was replaced with a new plugin called Envato Market. Follow these steps to automatically update your theme.
Step 1 – Download the Envato WordPress plugin from here: http://envato.github.io/wp-envato-market/
Step 2 – Upload and activate the envato wordpress plugin (.zip file that you downloaded).
There is no .zip plugin in any of these links and they don’t refer to plugin. If this is actually meant for the actual theme and its .zip file then maybe it should have been worded that way? it’s just not clear all i’m saying.
Actually, I only need this kind of code for the Desktop site, as I’m fine for the tablets (which is only 6-10% of my audience) and fot the mobile, I’m gonna use the mobile theme.
So, I guess if you help me with some code, I’ll use it in the Desktop section of responsive CSS which I only saw it today (was it part of the update?).

There should be a “Big Grid 3” under the trending ticker. Example: http://alllocalratings.com/
The theme has Grid 7 set as the top for category pages. Example: http://alllocalratings.com/blog/category/beauty/
These are just a couple specific examples. None of the big grids work (such as big grid 5).
I should also note that I do not see any console errors in Chrome dev tools.

This is a commercial theme, not part of WordPress.org – so you can’t update it from there. You need to update it from your ThemeForest account, the same way you installed it the first time. See the docs ( links right side of page) on how to update theme 🙂

The tagdiv composer is a different section and it is not related to Visual Composer plugin so we have moved your topic to Newspaper forum.
You don’t need to buy or register the Visual Composer plugin as it is licensed to the theme, it specified also in the update guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ and in this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-update-visual-composer-2/ so please ignore the update message. When a new theme version is released it will contain the latest version of Visual Composer available on market.

Like Bogdan stated above the mobile theme comes with it own templates and the homepage content has a grid which displays featured articles and the latest articles section. There are not other sorting, filtering options in backend and also the offset feature is not available. We will consider it in future theme updates and also more options for mobile grid.

I’ve checked your site and noticed that you’re using an older version of Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/IWpq7WB1EA Try to update the plugin at V 4.11.2 which is included in theme’s path. Just deactivate and delete current plugins’s version then go to Plugins panel and install it again: http://screencast.com/t/1wmOqpKJL

We are not aware of such changes being made to the theme files. Speedbooster does not add or remove code from the theme files. Please use ftp and not the wordpress editor as the editor is unstable and could mess things up. Please also update your child theme and use the one provided in the main theme package.
Our theme does not re-write it’s own code and speed booster is not capable of doing that.
Please do a clean theme install via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ (replace all files, not just particular ones) then test again.

Social Counter plugin does not update the numbers automatically. The plugin is set to update date at each 3 hours but if you’re using a cache plugin the time may be bigger.
Please make sure that you’re using V 4.11.2 of Visual Composer plugin because with older version the access token wont be generated.

While editing a post and refreshing the updated post on the frontend of the site, I noticed that the footer – which I had previously disabled – was showing again. That was odd, but I figured it was a small hiccup.
However, I also noticed that none of the big grids worked anymore (on homepage and on category pages).
It’s almost as if something got reset (and somehow made the big grids stop working).
So, recapping: “Big grid” type of post display stopped working on categories and on the homepage. I was not working with those settings when it broke.
I checked the settings and it looks like everything is set up correctly.
I’ve tried:
– Ensuring unique articles is disabled
– Disabling plugins (despite not working with them when it stopped working)
– Removing all filters from the big grid (just showing posts from all categories, no filters)
– Adding a new big grid with no filters
– Adding a different type of big grid with no filters
– Removing other big grids from the page

Contact Form 7 version 4.4.2
Google Tag Manager for WordPress version 1.3.2 (disabled)
