A quick update. I see a part of the sidebar. The upside is blocked. How can this be solved? On mobile i see everything.
Hello stuartmasson,
I have updated our list of fixes and I have announced our developers regarding this feature. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an accurate period wich the issue will be solved because our team developers are working hard to solved other fixes wich are much more urgent. I have made it urgent this request and in near future updates, hopefully, to tick as done. Until then, before to update, you have to to a backup to this file and load it to the new updated version.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Thank you for posting this solution. I’m sure it will help lots of people who are looking for such a sorting option.
We also appreciate the humor so..2 big THUMBS UP!!! I will add this solution as a feature request on our list for future updates.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure you download the latest version of the theme: 6.6.4 and then please follow this guide in order to update your theme properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
Hi,
Have you recently changed your site’s time/date? I have checked the mentioned post using google’s live structured testing data tool and found it retrieving the right date present on your post: https://developers.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/ – http://screencast.com/t/sahs2QWoi2j
If you did changed the date then you should give it some time to re-index and it should update.
Thanks
Hi
The footer structure is the same as in 6.6.3 version and the informations added in Footer info content should be displayed fine: http://screencast.com/t/zoDGZ17dkzT – http://screencast.com/t/pFXvwVGq1n
I’ve checked your site and in its source code doesn’t appear anything to be displayed which means that the theme does not have any content to output there or something prevent the content from footer to be displayed. Please make sure that you updated the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using and test again.
If you still can’t manage to solve this issue please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.
Thanks!
Hello,
Unfortunately this is the case on our demo as well. This issue is on our list of fixes for a future update. As a workaround, you can use custom links on your menu items and make them link to # (the ones that have a dropdown) so you will only have access to the links you want from the dropdown not the menu item itself.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hello,
I’ve tried to update theme from 4.6.3 to 6.6 on one of my sites, and (due to my stupidity, most probably) run into a set of problems:
– new theme doesn’t appear to be activated;
– there’s no “import settings” link anywhere on the panel.
The reason for that is most probably because I’ve tried to live preview it first and played around with settings, so status panel for the new theme shows “theme db version” as 6.6.
I’ve rolled back to the old theme without any trouble, but I still would like to move to the 6.6. What should I do?
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
This problem was caused by the new version of WP. You will see that there is also a similar problem on category pages. These errors were fixed in the new version of the theme so please update your theme following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
Hello,
W3 total cache was removed from the tested cache plugin list as it created problems with our theme. You could give it a try as it’s been updated since then (I think), but we cannot guarantee it’s functionality.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have checked this on my side and did not found any issues, the videos work properly, please make sure you add the iframe code in html text mode if you add them in post content – http://screencast.com/t/fHsyPONvoC the result should be – http://screencast.com/t/gSS6yQiaAtt3 If you use text block via Visual Composer add the code in the same mode – http://screencast.com/t/9m5LEraX I have tested also by using Raw HTML block.
Please make sure you use the latest theme version 6.6.4 and also the Visual Composer is updated to the latest version provided with the theme 4.9. If you need to update the theme please follow this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and for Visual Composer plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Also you can try to disable all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all the caches and see if it works. If the issue persist please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access so we can take a closer look.
Thanks!
Hello,
The problem originates from visual composer so we cannot say for sure why this happens (It’s the same on a WP default theme). It could be a bug in the plugin so we will have to wait for an update on their part. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you!
Important caution to those still using “old” versions of Newspaper — be sure to do a full site audit and make sure all your files are fully updated for all the past 16 months of major WP security patches. Even if you’re running WP 4.4.1 — that doesn’t mean the theme/plugins from 2 years ago are secure now.
One of my friend’s running NP 2.12 just had his website hacked this week … title tags changed to
<title>National News | Hacked By Indonesian Intelegent Security !</title>
and generating errors top of pages
<br />
<b>Warning</b>: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, boolean given in <b>/home2/SITENAME/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/functions.php</b> on line <b>973</b><br />
Reminder to all – it’s up to *YOU* running a WP website to make sure you stay on top of discovering vulnerabilities in WP, plugins, themes, VC, sliders, etc. — some themes, plugins and WP have been updated so many times the past year because of new issues discovered in CORE code. This is why so many things keep changing.
Just a heads up!
(edited to remove sitename from string) –CS
Hello,
1) Unfortunately the grid builder font does not get applied by the settings, so custom css must be used.
2) The excerpt length cannot be changed from the grid builder nor the theme. There is no option for it.
3) The featured image gets grabbed from the posts. You cannot set a featured image inside the grid builder.
4) You will have to use css for them also.
Unfortunately the grid builder still has issues like the rest of visual composer but these issues are not theme related. If you test the grid builder on a WP default theme you will see that it has the same issues. We will have to wait until the developers at visual composer update their plugin and fix these issues.
Thank you!
Hello Eric,
These errors were fixed in the current version of the theme. In your version they should not be present as well. Maybe you have customization in place and did not update a few files of the theme. Please make sure you update your theme properly in order to get rid of the errors. https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
The admin bar is usually turned on/off from the user panel.
Since the theme does not update itself, changes normally only happen if you update/install a bad plugin.
Usually checking the page with console/F12 will show any java errors.
Hi Guys
For some uknown reason the admin bar when you are seeing a page/post/site that used to overlay the top and allow quick access to editing . . has gone missing.
I’ve searched all the settings and cant find what may have done this.
Is there any updates that TAGDIV may have sent down that remove this bar or VC?
DK
I thought this was pretty straightforward …
Extend support to 12 months $17.70
so that adds 6 months added support.
Presumably at end of the 12 month period there would be option to AGAIN extend support, which at that rate would be roughly $35/year, which is very affordable if you only need support even once, or get a updated version due to changes in WordPress/security issues, etc.
Obviously it would be nice for TF to just say “get another 12 months from “right now” for $XXX” ….
For us, we’re just going ahead and buying the extended support option to help TagDiv get paid 🙂

I’m almost there but the following pieces of text aren’t in the font I want:
Apply Coupon
Update Basket
Proceed to Checkout
Place Order
– also the shopping cart contents summary text when it’s in the sidebar.
This is the CSS that I have doing the job and then below that I add what I have currently which I don’t think is working:
.woocommerce h1, .woocommerce h2, .woocommerce h3, .woocommerce h4, .woocommerce h5, .woocommerce h6 {
font-family: "Helvetica Neue", HelveticaNeue, TeXGyreHeros, FreeSans, "Nimbus Sans L", "Liberation Sans", Arimo, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; !important;
}
.woocommerce {
font-family: "Helvetica Neue", HelveticaNeue, TeXGyreHeros, FreeSans, "Nimbus Sans L", "Liberation Sans", Arimo, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif !important;
}
.woocommerce-tabs a {
font-family: "Helvetica Neue", HelveticaNeue, TeXGyreHeros, FreeSans, "Nimbus Sans L", "Liberation Sans", Arimo, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; !important;
}
.related.products h2,
{
font-family: "Helvetica Neue", HelveticaNeue, TeXGyreHeros, FreeSans, "Nimbus Sans L", "Liberation Sans", Arimo, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; !important;
}
This is added but I don’t think is working:
.woocommerce #content .add_to_cart_button { font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; !important; }
a.button, button.button, input.button, #review_form #submit { font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; !important; }
Apologies for the length but in case useful here is additional Woocommerce CSS I have in my stylesheet:
.product_title {
font-family: "Helvetica Neue", HelveticaNeue, TeXGyreHeros, FreeSans, "Nimbus Sans L", "Liberation Sans", Arimo, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
}
.woocommerce-page {

}
.panel entry-content {
font-family: "Helvetica Neue", HelveticaNeue, TeXGyreHeros, FreeSans, "Nimbus Sans L", "Liberation Sans", Arimo, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
}
.amount {
font-family: "Helvetica Neue", HelveticaNeue, TeXGyreHeros, FreeSans, "Nimbus Sans L", "Liberation Sans", Arimo, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
}
.woocommerce-page .page-title {
font-family: "Helvetica Neue", HelveticaNeue, TeXGyreHeros, FreeSans, "Nimbus Sans L", "Liberation Sans", Arimo, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
}
.woocommerce-page .page-title {

}
.woocommerce-page .page-title {

}
.woocommerce-tabs ul.tabs li {
font-family: "Helvetica Neue", HelveticaNeue, TeXGyreHeros, FreeSans, "Nimbus Sans L", "Liberation Sans", Arimo, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
}
Hello,
In this case, I recommend using a plugin for it as the lightbox is specified in a whole bunch of different files including the JS file. This file will be updated on most updates so your customization will have to be redone on every update (not dot revision).
You can use the revolution slider plugin that comes with the theme. It has lots of options.
Thank you!
Hello,
I tested this further and it seems it really takes you to the next comment not the actual one. You can correct this by modifying a theme file like so: http://screencast.com/t/qyA2c73WlQX
Now it should take you to the correct comment. I will add this issue on our fix list so we can update it in the next version of the theme.
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Salutare,
.sf-menu li:hover ul, .sf-menu li.sfHover ul{
z-index:1000!important
}
Poti adauga codul in theme panel -> custom css box
Am testat problema si la noi si se pare ca intr-adevar este un bug ce va fi rezolvat in urmatorul update.
O zi buna!
You can also try the updated beta checker here:
https://validator.w3.org/nu/
note the old checker has some issues with HTML5, modern markup, CSS3 using classes in certain ways, etc.
