We don’t have a copy of that plugin to test it, sorry about that.
The latest theme version is 6.1. We no more longer support old theme versions, sorry for the inconvenience. We have fixed a lot in the latest update. We strongly recommend to update to the latest theme version(before doing that please make sure you backup all your files and database).

The smartlists content isn’t supposed to show the ads as its handled different as in case the post’s content isn’t using smartlists so that’s why it has this behavior.
You can use ad spot’s shortcodes to place ads inside smart lists content if you like or another solution is to display a custom ad like this – http://screencast.com/t/ekXH40AYW it will be repeated on your smartlist for example if you use smartlist that slides – http://screencast.com/t/PCTTXIXD – http://screencast.com/t/Ngf0q5Xv
We also have this on our requests lists and we will consider trying another approach on this in future updates to have more control to the smartlist.

I have checked your site and you use an old version of the theme, Newspaper supports new YouTube API from version 4.6.3, so I guess that you don’t use even that version. You have to update to the latest theme version 6.1 using this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ first please backup the site (database and files) – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups We recommend that you delete the old version of the theme before uploading the new one, also update the plugins that come with the theme files from /plugins folder. Also you have to regenerate the thumbs – https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/ You may have to re-add widgets on the sidebars, some of them may not be imported or don’t exist anymore.

Why do you have to update the social counter block in every location?
why cant you just put the info into the Theme Panel –> Social Networks and not have to update the block every time?
I have the social counter on the homepage and on the pages inside the site displaying the individual articles. I have to update the social medial info on the Page and then again in the Widget.
Shouldn’t it just automatically tie back to the info entered on the Social Networks tab of the theme panel? then only have to enter 1 time and the block updates across all pages or places used.
OK I will try that and report back.

Most often issue with Cloudflare — you can find lots of comments about such issues in the forum. You should have all caching OFF and cleared before doing any updates, upgrades, migrations, etc. — otherwise you have weird mix of old/new and hence crashing of doom.
I forgot to turn off mod_pagespeed one time doing upgrade and it was a “dog’s breakfast” as my dad used to say!
Another update, just to leave no doubts. On the Big Grid Slide there is the following message:
“A single category filter. If you want to filter multiple categories, use the ‘Multiple categories filter’ and leave this to default”
The default is the “All categories”, I did leave it as is.

hello I found some issue in the last update of newspaper theme, I write below:

Please update your social counter plugin to the latest version. You can do this by disable and delete it and upload the new version from your themeforest download folder/plugins
