Yes, there is a guide how to update the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ I suggest to delete the old theme, then upload version 6. Also disable all your plugins when you update and then update the theme’s plugins, you can find them in the /plugins folder. You may have to re-add widgets on the sidebars.
Don’t forget to regenerate thumbnails – https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/

We are already working on an update to Newsmag. The theme is very popular and we plan to fully support it and continue to add nice things to it in the future :).

Before update please backup the site (database and files) – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups

We recommend to remove theme via FTP and install the new one and also the plugins that come with the theme files, you can find them it in the theme package inside the Plugins folder – http://screencast.com/t/lkrma6blYE
After the update run the script included in the Welcome panel – http://screencast.com/t/eZxxuqvsTir running the script it will import old settings and it will change the shortcode like you can see in the documentation. Also you need to regenerate the thumbs – https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/

Unfortunately Speed Booster is not compatible with all plugins, but we work and we will provide a documentation how to make it compatible with other plugins. Also today we will release an update to fix some speed booster issues.

The theme was not updated properly as you still have the old file for icons. Please reinstall the theme using this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and make sure that it won’t remain files from the old theme.
Or if you only have this issue after the update you ca try to replace these files with those from package that you have downloaded from themeforest version 6 – http://screencast.com/t/mTbMKg6vrj

Did you run the script?
Please make sure that you have updated the theme properly, first make a backup of your current theme installation, then remove the old theme(it should not remain old theme files) and upload the new theme version (you can try to do this via FTP), follow the documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ run the script and regenerate your thumbnails. Also update the theme plugins from the /plugins folder.

It seems to be an issue with Theme Panel(it will be fixed as soon as possible), so if you have Theme Panel grey/disabled please follow this solution – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/not-able-to-set-up-anything/
Also you can find the old theme version in old_version folder from package that you have downloaded from themeforest – http://screencast.com/t/C7W1dtMv6fEh

Please update using this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ make a full backup of your current installation and deactivate all plugins. After you update you will have to run the script it will import old settings from database(see docs). It may be an issue with widgets from sidebars, you will have to re-add them.
