Well mine as well,that NEW VC update is not working,all the blocks i choose i’m getting some kind of message that…
Elements within this list are deprecated and are no longer supported in newer versions of Visual Composer.
My static page is all messup it seem this theme not supporting static page any more,what happen to the V5 and why this theme have so many issues,i’ve delete V4 and done a new install removed all my CSS CODE etc and all i get is a messup static page and no settings is taking…is this a joke are what..

I need insert one ads with inline ads at 2 paragraph y another ads inline adns at 5 paragraph.
I need do this. Can you add another inline ads in theme panel ???
And when i show de responsive versión with template 11 with videos the ads don’t show. My site need ads 🙂

I did the update to V6, installed everything ( including child theme and td-api-plugin) and I have no more blocks….
Blocks are not recognized. I have only the shortcode which appear on screen. And when i go on the page editor, i cannot select any block through visual composer. They are not listed…

The screen-reader-text class is used more and more in WordPress. There was already a topic in the Newsmag forum complaining about this (https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/bug-categories-label/) but nobody from the developers did answer 🙁
Please add the following to the default css and release a new Newspaper version (and BTW you could update VisualComposer as well):

Question – why are these adjustments not part of the core code or can be sent out in an update?
What if we are not qualified coders or people who feel comfortable adjusting the core code of the custom theme we purchased here?
We have purchased multiple custom themes before and never had to make this volume of changes to the code simply to make the theme “work right” or “run faster”.
Shouldn’t this be provided by the theme creators initially or in an update?
Chris – please let the theme creators respond. We know you are the resident expert and we have seen your great helpful responses in many many threads. But in this case we would like to hear from the people we purchased the theme from with the answer.
We ask with all respect as we love this theme. Just curious. Please advise. Thanks.

I got the Newspaper 4.4 version and since 2 months I got a big problem with the no-possibility to update my homepage louesfera.com because of the Visual Composer. I’m totally stucked because I did not buy personnaly the Newspaper, it was the IT guy (named “carpeher” in the Envato members) that update my old WordPress theme to that new one). So I can’t do nothing alone.
Today searching how to find a solution in that forum, I found a page on how to update the Visual Composer plug-in and I follow the steps : the problem ? I’ve deleted the plug-in and have no other way to have it all working ! Please help !

The latest version of Social Counter is 2.10, please make sure that you have updated the plugin. Also please re-add your youtube Id – http://screencast.com/t/R0hi5hn3ag25 and clear cache. Also please make sure that your subscribers number is visible from youtube settings.

I tried to update visual composer but with no luck. I followed this post https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/. I think i have 4.4.4.
I have more than 7000 posts/pages in the database. You can see the website here http://artic.gr sometimes while browsing you’ll see a blank page (this is an out of memory error).
If you think that you can fix my problem, i can make for you a temporary ftp and backend user. I’ll really appreciate this.

Please make sure that you use the latest theme version 4.6.3 and also you have updated the plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder. The latest version of Social Counter provided with the theme is 2.10. Use this guide(FTP method) to update your theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/

Hi, I know this was asked by someone else but I didn’t see you provided a solution.
I have Chrome (updated, double checked).
Mega menu does not appear on hover (check your demo http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/).
What is more, when using chrome and you click on it it appears for half second then disappears, second click will open it.
Please don’t ask for screenshot as I obviously cannot provide one which would be showing Mega menu appearing then disappearing.
Slight update: I’ve been digging in even more, and still cannot find a way to modify this. I assume it’s coming from one of the modules?
I’ve disabled any potential conflicting plugins I can think of. But custom post or not, I still can’t trace how the posts are being built to the point that I can stop the date output. I am using a child theme and I have followed the instructions in your documentation as well.

the CSS file is way too big, if you ask me.
If I want to edit the file in browser, the browser collapses. Thats really not normal.
Untouched the css file has 478 kb. If I delete codes like woocommerce or bbpress, it still have 318 kb. And compressed the file is still 286 kb big.
My old theme css (HotTopix, on Themeforest too): 74 kb (uncompressed).
Is there anything you can do to reduce the size in future updates?

Well, I replaced the original code and pasted your code without even touching it and updated in the 404 php file field still blank page is coming. I don’t know why. Anyways thanks for your help. I am happy with the current customization.

This feature doesn’t work well with caching plugins, so you should test this without a cache plugin. I guess that this caused also issues with your block (“it doesn’t update that often”).
Also you have to wait 24-48 hours to be sure that the above solution works as this sort option is applying from the moment that it is activated on a block.

If you want to disable modal for default gallery (not tagdiv gallery) you can remove this code from javascript file – http://screencast.com/t/12x2COpj5Ev Making this change it will remove modal for your default gallery images, but will not depend if you set link to attachment or media file – http://screencast.com/t/vIBSGHooozL
We try to find a solution and a better implementation for modal/lightbox in future updates.

Thanks for update. But I don’t understand.
The sites had identical settings – both using inline ad, and its the exact same code from our revive server, but still its rendered differently. I’m not placing the ad in post content, only using the theme Ad functionality.
You also say that (in the docs)
The ad code is automatically detected by the theme and it will be rendered using the following rules:
Google adSense – If you enter a google adsense code, the theme will make it responsive and the ad will fill the available space.
Simple ad code (js/flash/images) – this is rendered as entered by the user
[shortcodes] – the spot will run do_shortcodes() on the ad. Using shortcodes you can add adRotate ads to that spot
Now on the same site – two different articles is rendered differently
