Unfortunately Newsmag theme was initially designed at this width – 1021px – with an fixed grid layout, responsive as it is fluid and style for desktop/tables/mobile screens. So changing the width would not be easy as it needs changing the width value for all elements on pages and for this you would need custom work. I suggest to hire a freelancer to do this for you as we cannot provide any type of custom work at this time because we work hard on development, updates and support.

Unfortunately I cannot make any suggestion it should work. We use the latest version of the theme and also theme’s plugins updated to help our customers. Did you checked your console when you have deactivated all plugins? You still have these errors – http://screencast.com/t/wywwCnMl that affect also Big Slider.
These js errors usually are caused by plugins that conflict with theme javascript. Also please make sure that you use the latest theme version (4.6.3) and use this guide if you need to update(FTP method) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/ also update the plugins that come with the theme’s files.

The smartlists content isn’t supposed to show the ads as its handled different as in case the post’s content isn’t using smartlists so this is the right behavior.
You can use ad spot’s shortcodes to place ads inside smart lists content if you like. We also have this on our requests lists and we will consider trying another approach on this in future updates.

Please make sure that you use the latest theme version 1.7.1 and also update the plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder(especially Visual Composer – 4.4.4).

Please make sure that you use the latest theme version 4.6.3 and also you have updated the social counter plugin to 2.10 version. Also you can check this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active and clear cache.
