The gallery waits for the script to load however this should not behave like this. We have this on our attention and we will try to find a solution until version 5 update.

You can work around this by using this custom css in theme panel > custom css section:

.post_galery_slide_1 {
overflow: hidden;
}


Thais will hide the images until the gallery script loads.

Unfortunately, for now, I can only add your request on our feature request list and we will consider it for future updates.
We haven’t tested any plugin with that functionality so I can’t recommend you any that works with the theme but you could try one like the ditty ticker or a similar one: http://dittynewsticker.com/ditty-rss-ticker/

Please provide your site URL so we can take a look. Did you update from 1.6 version or an older one?
Also if you need Newsmag version 1.6 please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your request and we will send it to you. And follow this guide like you update the theme using FTP method if you want to upload again 1.6 version: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-theme/ just delete your theme folder and upload the old version.

You can also disable theme’s sharing/like buttons from Theme Panel and try to add plugin shortcode in the post template that you use: http://screencast.com/t/EDAmuGgXWEyj or you can use the plugin’s buttons by default(how they are been added automatically).
Unfortunately we cannot provide any type of custom work at this moment as we work hard on development, updates, fixes and support so the time and resources don’t allow us to provide custom work, but we can provide some guidance. Sorry!

Please make a backup of your current theme installation, so you can revert in case something goes wrong. Also follow our guide to update your theme, use FTP method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/ and update the plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
Normally the posts/pages, styling modifications you’ve set in the Theme Panel – will not be effected by updating your theme, only custom modifications to the theme’s files will be overwritten.

Please make sure that is not a confusion between Newsmag ver 1.7 and Newspaper ver 4.6.2.
If you need to update your Newspaper theme please make a backup of your current theme installation so you can revert in case of something goes wrong. Please follow this guide to update using FTP – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-theme/ and upload also the plugins that come with the theme files from the /pluginss folder – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
If you have custom modifications to the theme files you will need to make those again in new theme files. You will have to upload the theme like a new theme, you will have to delete your current theme folder(after you make the backup).

Please make sure that you use the latest version of Social Counter 2.9. If you don’t use this version please update the plugin properly(try to remove Social Counter folder and update via FTP) from the theme files that you have downloaded from themeforest /plugins folder. Let me know!

Unfortunately theme doesn’t have an option to use these types of pagination on categories pages, those types of pagination are available only for block. You will need custom modification for that, unfortunately we cannot provide any type of custom work for the moment as we work hard on development, updates, fixes and support.
