I did everything manually and my site is up and running now but with a number of problems.
1) The theme would not upload through wordpress, it would also not upload through filezilla, so I did it manually in my FTP.
2) When the theme was uploaded through my ftp i tried uploading the plugins through wordpress, I got the same errors, so I uploaded the included theme plugins through my ftp. However now none of my plugins can be updated, also I am running my theme with all the plugins deactivated because the plugins are breaking the theme, that includes the plugins that were included in the theme, as soon as I activate tagdiv speed booster the site looses all CSS. I am running the theme without the plugins because I have a very popular site with 20,000 visitors a day and cannot afford to have the site down any longer. I also went in and deleted all my old theme files from my ftp, thinking that somewhere they were conflicting with the new theme, but this made no difference.
The site is now significantly slower, with my previous theme I had a speed of 98 and now site speed is 37.
Could you let me know where I can send you login details so I can have you look at it. I need this resolved as soon as possible. I love the theme and would hate to have to switch back to my old theme. I never had any of these issues on my site before with my old theme.

Hey guys,
I was quite busy last month and wasn’t able to work on the development of the plugin. However, I will work on it this week and hopefully I will be able to release an update with the request features. Here is what I will add on the next version (1.2):
- Settings Panel for the plugin — will let you enable/disable a share button
- Facebook Share Button
- Reddit counter
- CSS Imporvements
Thanks for the support so far! The plugin has more than 110 downloads and it will hopefully increase in the future.
If you’re a developer, you can clone the plugin at GitHub as well 🙂
Yes! I do this …. you need to edit the file
theme > includes > wp_booster > td_page_views.php
static $post_view_counter_key = 'views';
Only downside is you have to remember to do that with each theme update.
@Lucian sorry i posted this in another string, unfortunately still issues

Hi,
1. Please send your site’s URL and provide more details about this. Where do you want your site’s title?
2. edit the menu-header.php file and remove this code: http://screencast.com/t/FrJFERhCTh and also make sure that in the same file you also change this div’s class to span12, after removing the search icon code, like this: http://screencast.com/t/dMX9V2ufy3MN
3. Use this custom css in theme panel > custom css filed: http://screencast.com/t/oUOpJIGL
.td_normal_slide .td-sbig-title-wrap, .td_normal_slide .slide-meta {
display: none;
}
4. We have this on our todo list and we are trying to fix this in future updates, until then you can set an custom excerpt for the posts you have this issue with using the excerpt filed from post editing panel: http://screencast.com/t/dICA2rNDw
Thanks
Hi,
First of all please make sure this is still happening without any plugins active and if you use any cdn or external cache which could deliver older versions for some of the files please make sure you purge files and empty cache.
This could also come from a bad update (maybe some files were not uploaded properly) so try to reupload the theme and see if the issue is still there.
Please let me know if you still have issue after this.
Thanks
Christopher, thank you for your help over the weekend, learnt a hard lesson about using shortcodes, had to manually change them all which is why I wasn’t on here lol…what a pain that was.

Hi,
First please make sure you use it right https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-manage-the-social-counter/
If still doesn’t start working please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com specifying this in your subject and we will send you the fixed version of this plugin as we had some issue with it and we managed to fix them but the new version of this plugin won’t be available until next theme update.
Thanks
Hi,
You can try to add the log in as an menu item. Unfortunately you will need custom work for this as the theme doesn’t have an option for this.
Unfortunately we cannot offer custom work at this time as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
Sorry fir the inconvenience!
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
Unfortunately the theme hasn’t been designed to work using two sidebars in the same time, if you want you can alter the code from the post template and set it to show both sidebars, you’ll have to edit the single.php file to make you changes: http://screencast.com/t/eduFtYod

Hello,
I’ve been using categories in my main menu and all of them seem to have 404’d recently… no idea why. The theme was a bit behind (2.3) but I updated to 4.5 today and still no luck.
Website:
http://www.xtremerigs.net/
Category pages are still dead when clicking on them via breadcrumbs. If someone could provide some insight onto why this is I’d greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
HI …
sorry … my original post wasn’t related to your issue.
However, I *did* have your issue couple of versions back and it was entirely a caching issue. I’d forgotten to turn off mod_pagespeed *and* all caching prior to updating theme. And so both my version of WP and the theme version both had elements from OLD FILES loading from the new version in the browser, and so things were breaking or I’d get server 500 error.
So, I turned all caching stuff OFF, cleared that stuff, then uploaded both the WP update and the theme update, then worked first time out of the gate.
Might not apply to you, but caching is the main culprit with this stuff.
Hi,
after i made an update, in text edit pole shows some blind pole at right side.
Its very annoying. Please help
UPDATE
***Fixed. Found the culprit.
Yep, using a child theme, finally realized the culprit was a non-updated header.php. *facepalm*
Why is it that 7 hour code expeditions that never yield results are always 2 second fixes in the end? 🙂
Thanks a ton Lucian. Mobile menu sliding smooth as intended now.
Thank you, and no problem is a glitch, I’m happy to help improve this wonderful theme.
I await the next update, thanks!
Hi,
Unfortunately you are right, not all the module can be added via page builder as blocks. We will consider this for future updates.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for the suggestions.
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for reporting this. I have added this on our issue list and we will fix this in the next update.
You can use this css to fix the title and hide the views and comments until we fix this: http://screencast.com/t/IPSCqrtY
.td_mod_aj_search .entry-title a, .td_mod_aj_search .entry-title {
white-space: normal;
}
.td-aj-search-results .td_mod_aj_search .entry-comments-views {
display: none;
}
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
Sorry for the delay on which I’m answering. I have check your site and seen your issue and I think is caused by some css.
We recently had a similar issue with a client which was using child theme, applied some custom mortification to it’s site with it without updating it.
This could cause this in your case also, please let me know if you are using the child theme and if so please make sure you update it also and make sure you make a backup before in case something goes wrong.
Here you have a guide on how to use child theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/child-theme-documentation/
Thanks

Hi,
@LBour Please follow this tread and use the same method to achieve this or switch to block 3 and do the same. For block 2 you will have to make this modification in td_module_5.php file: http://screencast.com/t/aV9JkSdx for the big thumb. If you don’t know how to do it we recommend to get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ as we cannot offer custom work as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support.
@sbo It is a custom modification you don’t need to update, just follow this tread and use the same method to achieve it.
Hope this helps! Thanks for the message!
Hi,
Yes, we already have your request on our feature requests list and we will consider it for future updates but we have to be very careful on what we pick to implement as we have over 160 feature requests, if more people will ask for it we will do it.
Regarding your second issue I have tried to replicate it using theme’s latest version (4.5) and found no issues. What theme version do you use? Please make sure you update your theme to the latest version and also try to check for this without using minified js/css/html and also remember to empty cache.
Please let me know if this helps!
Thanks
Oh wow, that looks amazing. Is it from an updated version of the theme or custom because Im running an old version of the theme that im happy with just to prevent any messes cause i’ve used a lot of custom code.
Both editors doesn’t work properly after applying the latest theme update. I was not yet on wordpress 4.0 So updated this aswell as I thought this could fix the problem. It didn’t.
I did try it with all plugins deactivated, but no luck. Any idea?
