now it`s working – I deactivated al plugins without tagdiv. Mobile version was okay and the problemms with the gallery are also soleved. I only actived additionallly the WP Bakery Page Builder, Iframe and All-in-One Event Calendar by Time.ly. An I updated Newspaper Theme 😉

This is when I tried to edit the content in tagdiv composer, and when I try to edit the text in “Text with Title”. As soon as I click on the black button “Edit Content”, I get the error that I mentioned in my original post.
And, I tried to update my Newspaper to the latest version but I don’t have the tab for Update. The tabs that I have are, Welcome, Plugins, Support, Install Demos, System Status, and Theme Panel.
Is there any other way to find what version that I have and to update it to the latest version?

Please let me know if this error appears when you edit with tagdiv Comnposer or when you try to edit a post.
What I can suggest is to update the theme to the latest version 12.5; you can do a staging for testing the update and if the problem persists; please make a full backup to all files and the database, in case something goes wrong. => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ Also, if possible, disable extra plugins during the theme update to avoid any problems that may arise and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look. You can try to update the theme on a staging website.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/

Hello Anamaria, I have the theme installed on 3 sites and one staging, on none of them I installed the plugin and this ctp courses appears, right after the update!
On one of the sites, I installed the plugin, activated it and then deleted it and it didn’t disappear!
Another one I just updated to 12.5 and the same thing happened. The ctp courses appears.

I have no use for both at this time.
In the case of reviews, after the update to 12.5, this option reappeared, even though it was deactivated in: Theme panel > Post settings > General Post settings > Review system.

I am having an issue with the Newspaper theme in WordPress. When I make changes to the theme settings through the Newspaper theme panel and click the “Save/Update” button, the changes do not save and my website appears as if I have made no changes. I have tried refreshing the page, clearing my cache, and disabling all plugins, but the issue persists.
I am using the latest version of WordPress and the Newspaper theme. I am also using a caching plugin, but I have disabled it to troubleshoot the issue.
I would appreciate any help you can provide in resolving this issue. Thank you.

Most likely, some plugins were also not updated. Please try to export the theme and see if the problem goes away. When you do an update next time, please make sure you do not use extra plugins that are not tested with our theme, and after that, make sure that your tagdiv plugins are activated.

Everything was fine with my hosting and my main website, until I decided to do a fresh install of wordpress with Newspaper theme on a subdomain.
Right after installing the theme and activating it, some files and folders that I didn’t recognize started to appear and soon after I found replicated newspaper folders even inside my main directory. I tried deleting the folders, but they reappeared when I updated the directory.
In short, I had to reset the hosting, because all my hosting was compromised. And in the Skan of the server most of the contaminated files were in the wordpress installation with newspaper theme. That was what happened.
Now I’m afraid to use the theme again for any project. After all, I will end up losing U$ 59.00 from the purchase.
I’ve just installed the new update and it looks like it wasn’t fixed.
My site is completely broken again. Last week you gave me the below instructions. This time it does not work. I am paying a developer a thousand dollars each week to try and fix the mess. I don’t have that kind of money. Is this going to happen each time you update? This is horrifying. It is on a staging site. If it was live I would be out of business in no time! What can I do?

A code in your frontend is appearing only when you have a plugin uninstalled when it should be installed, so instead of the code, it will display the element from that plugin.
Check in the Newspaper -> Plugins. Check if you have the Standard Pack plugin installed and active (for default templates).

Just to report back: after the update WordPress reported the TagDiv Opt-in Builder plugin should be updated although this I already saw this processed during the update function @ Newspaper -> Updates.
Would it be possible to review the updates in new version from the Newspaper Dashboard after having the update installed too?

Hello. Some kind of problem here, too. I did upgrade from 12.4 to 12.5 and all site crashed when fail to update plugin td-composer. Reintalled fresh theme 12.5, and some problem persist. Failed to upgrade or activate plugin td-composer… “Ajax Error”

Thanks for the awesome update in 12.4 with custom fields.
May I suggest you add a calendar plugin created with custom fields, like you have done with fx the latest themes.
I plan to add a calendar function I create myself with this theme and ACF and CPT, as can “easily” be done, but I might be easier for at lot of your customers if you start by creating a basic plugin which we all the can amend to our specific needs.

In the last update is this included ?
So I’m trying to move a site to a new server and the tagdiv composer plugin instantly locks the site 100% if I enable it after the transfer. From the debug logging, it looks like the plugin is somehow finding absolute URLs (bad programming) in the database and trying to use them to find its files. I’ve tried the usual steps of installing the theme and plugins anew, but the issue persists. So I can only assume that somewhere in the database it’s storing absolute URLs to its plugin files (no idea why any programmer would ever do such a thing).
Can you please guide me to where in the database it’s storing these URLs? I need to update them to change the path to the proper /wp-content/plugins/td-composer folder and not to an old absolute URL that never should exist in a WP database.
It’s a large site/database, so searching the entire thing is cumbersome to say the least. I’m guessing it’s somewhere in the wp_postmeta???
