We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Our developers tried to improve it more and more, optimize it as much as they could in every update, and also bring in new features. We will try to do our best for this, but it will always need a little bit of separate optimization depending on each website. I’m running NP12 on my staging server for now in a Multisite environment (folder based).
It’s been working great.
Today I saw the notice to update to 12.3 so I did.
However when I wanted to install, nothing happens.
After that, I still get the blue update notification and the version shows me that I’m on 12.2
In the time machine it also list 12.3 though. Am I updated correctly and is the version number incorrect at the top, or is there a problem in time machine?
How and where do I change the permissions for files and folders in my multisite just for that site?
I’m using Defender Plugin as recommended. I’m on an A2 Turbo plan and also have WP Toolkit.

I’m very Happy with most recent update, you added amazing features more specifically, Table of content is my favorite which I requested to add and I’m glad to see that on my plate. Well, I’m fan of Newspaper theme and dedicated tagdiv team members because of their work and support they showcase in their products.
I have suggestion for you, your theme is fast and nicely structured but Could you please focus towards website performance and web core vitals in your upcoming updates because it is key matrix to support publishers.
I mean can we trim more or replace elements in website to make it more lightweight like trimming js and css or replacing with lightweight elements.
You have already done such thing with tagdiv mobile theme; however, can we do it same cloud templates.

Is there a way to create a category prefix to show up on single post trmplates before the H1 title? And also to be visible on the category pages as well as all td composer blocks throught the website. What i need is something you can see on this url/website for example: https://monochrome-watches.com/ the prefix (in brown) before the title of the post should be the name of the category and should be visible on all places where this post appear (category page, single post..). It should not be clickable but only to appear as a <span> tag before (not inside) the h1 tag. It should however dynamicaly populate based on the category that single post belongs to.
What i need is the info regarding which of the category/single post templates from newspaper theme should i use and edit to achieve this type of a category show-up. I looked up the sigle.php loop-single and category.php but couldnt fi d the place where i should implement something additionaly to achive this. Can you assist please? All of this, if achiveable, I would implement through the child theme folder so that the cha ges remains during the update process.

I dont know why it crash, i just make the update normaly and after that the site crash, i saw that all the plugins are unnistal. But i make the update now again, and it works fine. Next time i gona try to found the problem.

If you want to update the theme, you should download the latest version of it from Theme Forest account and download it.
Please make a full backup to all files and database => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAJXrSI-dDA
Here you can find information about the changes that have occurred in each update over time https://tagdiv.com/newspaper/
I recommend that you update the theme manually https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ via FTP/cPanel/File Manager, also if possible disable extra plugins during the theme update to avoid any problems that may arise and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look. You can try to update the theme on a staging website.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/

Hello, I’ve updated my theme to the latest version (12.3) and also updated its plugins (tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Standard Pack), but now almost every “Flex Block 1” content in my pages which has a number of columns >2 it’s unaligned with gaps in rows, in an unwanted mosaic effect, as you can see here:

Yes, you can use the theme on two domains (staging or live). Please be aware that you can only change the key after one month.
We’ve introduced the Manage License System, which can be seen in the latest update of the theme 11.4.3 in Newspaper -> My license. You can assign or unassign a domain from there.

Update: Figured it out – simply drag and drop columns and elements where you want them to go haha.
Must admit, I was very intimidated when I got started with Newspaper, but after becoming familiar with the builder I’m feeling relieved. Great theme.

We are also having the same issue whereby most of our images are now showing as not found on articles and pages etc even though they are still in the database. This is since the last update.

Have checked with our web hosting provider IONOS and they have confirmed that the correct access permissions are set.
Is there anything in the last few Newspaper updates that changes security or permissions that may have caused this?

After the update the ecommerce no longer works.
When you go to the store page and click on a product a page opens with system error.

Hello, i can see that there is always problems, and the website crash, when there is an update, why this happens? And what you guys are making to prevent this to happen?
We are unable to update any Cloud Pages after installing the latest update. When we open TagDiv Composer for any Cloud Page, we are unable to ADD any Elements from the list.

The errorcode i get is: “The link you are trying to use does not exist anymore.”

I have been using newspaper theme.
I tried to renew my license today and put it my new purchase code.
But in wordpress dashboard, it still says ‘An issue has been encountered while trying to validate your license key’ and I cannot update the theme.
