while I was trying to do this. I updated to latest version. I deactivated tagdiv plugins along the process as well. Now anytime I try to activate tagdiv plugins back I get a critical website error issues. Kindly check website at hiideemedia.com. I deactivated all plugins and try to activate only tagdiv plugins to see which plugin is causing the error. I don’t know what could have cause tagdiv plugins to cause my website been down though.
It doesn’t load if the tagDivcomposer is installed and if installed it gives so many errors:

I am reaching you out for the issue of the Blog post updated date. I have posted a blog on the month of December, 2022. And again I have updated the same article few days back. But the article date is showing the same published date ie. December, 2022.
I am using a premium Newspaper Theme. Can you please update the Post Date feature. So that if I update my old blog posts it will help my user to understand that the I update my old posts too and it also help me to rank in the SERP.

Yes, I understand how to change the template settings. The problem is that it only works on the theme panel. Changing the settings for the individual posts doesn’t do anything. I updated the theme & TD plugins, deactivated all non-NP plugins… no luck. Any chance someone in TD support might be able to take a look?

We updated to the latest version of the theme in a separate environment and running the Newspaper in version 12.2 and WordPress 5.7.1 we still don’t see the option when editing the post. The plugin code responsible for displaying this field is basically the same, I believe it is not an update issue, but the type of permission required in this version where the necessary capabilities do not satisfy the user with the collaborator role, in the theme code it is described that to be able to view the options it is necessary to have the ability to publish posts and if we are going to see the capabilities of the collaborator type users we see that it does not have “publish_posts” permission (https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles -and-capabilities/#contributor), for this reason I changed the source code so that the field appears for people with the “Contributor” role, can you help us find an alternative so that it is not necessary to change the file that controls this permission in specific?

The theme panel will not update when attempting to update the header and footer. The Box just spins for hours. Everything on this forum appears to discuss the newspaper theme instead of the newsmag theme even in the newsmag forum. Are both themes the same when it comes to editing? If so, why are there separate forums?
Why can’t we use the theme panel to edit headers and footers? Why is the option even on the theme panel if it refuses to update? The square just turns for an hour. Why?
Hello… I’ll jump in here as we have same problem. We are agency and update quite a few sites that uses the Newspaper theme. We also are using InfiniteWP to update our clients wordpresses, and every time there is an update to Newspaper the site will be left with these plugins inactive. Is there a way to “fix” your update trigger so that it would trigger update and activation of your plugins after a “remote” update of the Newspaper theme? Any chance you could include this in your great theme any time soon? 🙂
@anamaria . I fixed this issue.
Cause: Caching plugin rendering not updated content which conflicts with the tdcomposer.
Fix: Either clear cache or open an incongnito mode and login in admin panel. When opened, it reflects live updates without error.

It seems you don’t have the tagdiv Composer and tagdiv Cloud Library plugins activated; please check if you have them activated; if made the update, please delete them, and install them from Newspaper -> Plugins.

I recently updated my Newspaper theme to version 12.2 and it does not show me the option to modify the mobile version in any way. The theme panel does not show the mobile version, and I cannot create any mobile pages. The big problem is that in when I check my site on a phone it shows the theme’s demo logo instead of mine.

hello this issue is still not fixed, in the latest update, I want to give ab admin login details to someone, so you people can look at this its still redirecting to wp-comments-post.php.

On posts and on the Mobile Theme, the author name is cut when a letter is going down like for “g”.

Normally these should be solved using tagDiv Composer and setting the padding/margin and size for each individual viewport on each element separately – https://i.imgur.com/JBbUZor.png (each element with the left border can be edited per viewport).
Similarly, for the mobile version, you can also use mobile template pages – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

I made some tests and indeed on category if you hover over the < button the / appears - https://i.imgur.com/he8hBAK.png, but when you actually click on the button the link will not have / - https://i.imgur.com/bVc9hzs.png
In order not to display that / even when hover is done, the theme files must be edited, unfortunately, this will have to be done with every update.
The file path to the flex loop elements is wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/common/tdb_loop.php and wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/common/tdb_loop_2.php

yesterday we did update to latest Newspaper release 12.2 and now mega menu isn’t loading sub-categories anymore.
Loading icon keeps spinning.

We tried to disable all plugins on a staging site but issue still persist.
Firefox debug console shows this but I’m not sure if it’s related:
