What I’m saying is that Google only asked to improve LCP and CLS over a year ago, and so far it hasn’t been done by the developers.
Finally, I have to praise the latest updates, especially 11.2, which brought better performance and less use of server resources, now the theme is really working as it should (now it looks like it’s really compatible with WordPress, without slowing anything down ), all that remains is to improve the LCP to get a good score.

Hi Calin,
Ironically I wasn’t game enough to update because it wasn’t working! My plan was to update, but I think this has sped up the process (downgrading WordPress isn’t an option).
So, in theory, all things going well, updating from 9.5 to 11.2 should work?
Will my design of the site be the same or after upgrading will I have to rebuild? I’m guessing that’s one of the possible issues that can happen.

This situation appeaser because you are using an old theme version with the latest WordPress version.
As I can see there are only two options:
1 – update that theme to the latest version. -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ (use the method from FTP/cPanel also install from newspaper the tagDiv Standard pack.
2 – downgrade the WordPress under 5.5. -> https://increasily.com/how-to-downgrade-wordpress/
Also first you need to make a full backup for your website and database.

The theme version that you use is very only, it is over 4 years. Since then there are a few things that were changed and added, for the example tagdiv Composer that it is now the theme builder.
I recommend to make the theme update on staging or localhost and try to accommodate with the new version and make sure that everything is working and only after that update the main website but not before to be sure that you have a full backup.

I actually visited this forum to see if someone add the same problem. This happened to me, but was triggered by the last Amp plugin update
I am unable to edit a post or add featured image. I have the latest Word Press and latest theme update. Every time I try to edit a post, I get the error message “The Editor has Encountered an Unexpected Error” with the option to attempt recovery, copy post text, copy error but none of these do anything. In order to even add a post, I had to repeatedly empty the cache but I still can’t edit. This is my first website, I am not an experienced web developer. Any help you can give in simple terms is appreciated.

Yes, but not on the Chrome browser. Please make sure you have the latest update of the WordPress, theme and plugins(11.2). It could be a cache problem or a plugin conflict.
Deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.

Update: I have selected Single Post Template 62 inside Gutenberg (the template shows a great layout for text and images in the tagDiv edit mode), but that’s not what I am seeing when it’s published.

Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
