thanks again, I’m replying a lot later but it seemed not a immediate task for me at the beginning.
At the end all went well, but I followed an alternate process, maybe longer but without installing additional plugins which I prefer if is possible.
I share it just in case could be useful to some reader:
1) updated to wordpress 5.6
2) updated newspaper from 10.3.2 to 10.9.1 BUT issues still appeared
3) deactivated all plugins (and issues disappeared) except NewsPaper and some security plugins
4) reactivated one by one the plugins until I found the one that caused the issues (it was the plugin of our hosting company)
5) I contacted them and we solved the issues also with a lot of luck too 🙂
UPDATE: I upgraded the website with the new newspaper version and it works.

We did this, however, it still has completely crashed the site and won’t update the theme.
It would be great if this feature was changed to pull the most recent article. How many news websites are going to want to push articles from years ago? Wouldn’t they want the most recent by category, by tag, etc…?
Please submit this information when the next version of the Newspaper Theme is being developed or when there is going to be a major update.

Before the theme update, please make sure that you have a full backup to the website and database, after that make the backup using FTP/cPanel as in our guide from here https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ (B. Update the theme via FTP) in this way there should be no problems to update the theme.

Hi fabioweb90, for the moment using the amp plugin with the mobile theme plugin, you have only few settings that can beset from theme panel, the options like those that you ask above can be done only with custom changes in theme files. Now some of theme it may be easy to achieve like the name of category on the block (if you want I can help you with this), but those changes will be lost after the theme update.

I am using Newspaper 10 theme for my website https://weblroot.com, but having some issues while updating posts. I am using WP Automatic for some posts.
1. Posts updated with WP Automatic won’t show any images although being linked with a category.
2. Posts updated are getting categorized properly on site and are visible everywhere. How to properly set up as per the category.
3. I am using Total Cache for clearing cache.
Could you please check and advise where I am going wrong.

I tried to update my theme to the latest version but when installing plugins TD composer install failed. I tried to do that manually i get this message while uploading .zip file: “The link you followed has expired.”
In checking system status, i found that some PHP values need to be increased. My host support team did that but i still get a ‘PHP Memory Limit need to be increased to 128 mb) even if it is already done.
I’ve deactivated plugins excepts tagdiv plugins, deleted the cache using a cache plugin but nothing has changing.
Your help will be appreciated

Licensed copy for use with the theme. Not separate standalone license. The bundled version only gets updates when theme updated.

It is a PAGE created 5 years ago in Newspaper without any tagdiv builder.
It has like 200 comments and people still add more.
This year I finally updated the Newspaper theme to the newest version, comments are gone for blog readers but still visible for me when Im in WP-ADMIN dashboard and editing the page.
I also learnt when I switch format from PAGE into POST the comments are again visible but I cant afford do this switch on all old pages because then I loose sticky CTA button functionality suddenly after switch.
Can you please tell me how to make old comments visible again on old pages ?
