Hello!
I have two main errors:
1. I cannot enter the registration code to receive the updates (I have subscribed to a topic below with the same problem).
ERROR: “Sorry, you don’t have permission to access this page.”.
2. When editing the category template I receive the message:
Errors at columns elements: 3 (models): 4 (dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL + Z / CTRL + SHIFT + Z)
I have updated and reinstalled the composer. But there is no solution.
Thanks!
I just updated my theme and it completely destroyed my site.. currently, there is a random string of code showing on all pages too.
Is there a trick to the update?
updating from 10.3 to 10.3.7
We recently updated our theme and all featured videos are now displayed as featured image without a play symbol on display.is their anyone to fix this issue. Please refer to screenshot
How the videos are currently displayed: snipboard.io/xQjVUq.jpg
How they should show: snipboard.io/4OJuga.jpg
How can this be prevented? Is there an update to the Newspaper theme to prevent this from happening?
Hi!
I ended up creating my own email using the retrieve_password_message hook. It works fine but it’s to bad this is necessary after a newspaper update. It sounds like a bug to me.
Thanks.
Hello !
The automatic update option comes from only 10 version. Please follow our manual updating process as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you !
Sorry, I Know that and I have three licence of themes but
I’d like to Know, when you update the theme with a new version of bakery builder, if I have a old copy of theme that I have updated, why the copy of bakery doesn’t update automatically too.
Hi,
No, all the code that is set in theme panel will still be there after theme update.
What you can do is to use that category cloud template-> https://i.imgur.com/48yzaoO.png from tagDiv Cloud Library or use a custom css -> https://i.imgur.com/vqiOJcY.png
.category .td-category-siblings .td-category a, .td-category-siblings .td-subcat-dropdown {
color: #fff;
}
Hope this will help!
Hello
I have been using Newspaper 7.7.1 version for almost 2 years and I decided to buy it today and activate it.
I activated the theme and I want to update to the latest version so I can use all the features available at the theme.
https://prnt.sc/vg7uuq I sent a screenshot where you can see that there is no option to update the theme to the latest version.
I have the black version installed right now. I need assistance.
Thank you

Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
You are now able to create mobile viewport templates as you can see in our guide here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
! Atention ! If you are using mobile templates you will have to remove the mobile theme plugin and also at the moment AMP is not working with mobile templates.
Please note that at the moment the Support team is not 24/7 available. We answer the topics from Latest to Newest Monday – Friday from 08:00AM to 05:00PM GMT+2
Thank you !
Got it working:
else {
if (td_util::get_option('tds_p_show_date') != 'hide') {
global $wp_version;
//old WP support
if (version_compare($wp_version, '5.3', '<')) {
$td_article_date = date(DATE_W3C, get_the_modified_time('U', $this->post->ID));
} else {
// get_post_datetime() used from WP 5.3
$td_article_date = get_post_datetime($this->post->ID, 'date', 'gmt');
if ( $td_article_date !== false ) {
$td_article_date = $td_article_date->format(DATE_W3C);
}
}
$buffy .= '<span class="td-post-date" style="color:#aaa;">';
$buffy .= 'Last Updated: <time class="entry-date updated td-module-date' . $visibility_class . '" datetime="' . date(DATE_W3C, $td_article_date_unix) . '" >' . get_the_modified_time(get_option('date_format'), $this->post->ID) . '</time>';
$buffy .= '</span>';
}
}
Not using Composer or any of the drag and drop stuff – how can I change the date on the posts, and on the homepage, to the date it was last updated?
Site is here: https://www.thenerdystudent.com/
I would like to change the date below the title on the homepage to the updated date, and below the title on individual posts. I used to be able to do this via php on older versions but cannot get it working now.
Thanks
Also, any idea why updates are not shown in frontend only if logged in as admin? It might be a wrong host setting (SiteGround), but you might have an idea. Thanks
Hi,
I see you have update the theme in the new version and you have update the bakery builder too.
How I can take my updated copy of bakery for my website?
Thank you
I have updated the Newspaper theme for my website but after updating Theme header is not working, means whatever changes are done before </h1> is not working
After I updated my site from version 9.8 to 10.3.7 my server always reaches its limits (CPU and RAM) and it goes down.
I have a 3 GB of RAM but it seems not enough for this theme. When I updated I changed all my pages for using only the Cloud Library and I expected my site was blazing fast, instead it is not more reachable.
Log file often shows errors like:
– [fcgid:emerg] (22)Invalid argument: mod_fcgid: can’t lock process table in pid
– (32)Broken pipe: mod_fcgid: ap_pass_brigade failed in handle_request_ipc function
Updated to the latest version and now the TD composer is no longer available with mobile devices. Older versions of Newspaper it worked.
Hello,
The site looks fine after updating to the 10.3.7 version, but I am trying to go in and edit with TagDiv Composer on the homepage and get this message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 23896064 bytes) in /home/ottawamo/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4673
Every time I do an update I can no longer edit the site.Can you please fix this as I am not a webmaster or designer. Please email me. Thanks!
Hi Calin, after acquiring the right permissions, the theme is now updated to 4.9.5 using method B! Most, but not all things have migrated over, save the fact that preserving the settings key didn’t actually do anything, but it’s still magnitudes better than what was before.
There still one glaring issue, which started this whole thing. tagDiv Composer still loads infinitely, even with updating all of the plugins as suggested from your link, and with your new patches.
In the developer-mode console when trying to use the composer, this error is prevalent:
“Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘toString’ of undefined
at td_wp_admin.min.js:18
at td_wp_admin.min.js:21
js_files_for_wrapper.min.js:758 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘toString’ of undefined
at js_files_for_wrapper.min.js:758
at js_files_for_wrapper.min.js:798
post.php:4967 Uncaught ReferenceError: QTags is not defined
at post.php:4967”
After a bit of space, there is also the following:
“js_files_for_wrapper.min.js:380 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘isIe8’ of undefined
at HTMLIFrameElement.loadIframe (js_files_for_wrapper.min.js:380)
at HTMLIFrameElement.dispatch (jquery.js:3)
at HTMLIFrameElement.r.handle (jquery.js:3)
ace.js:1 Uncaught TypeError: n is not a function
at n (ace.js:1)
at a (ace.js:1)
at r (ace.js:10)
at Object.a [as require] (ace.js:10)
at post.php:2431
at dispatch (jquery.js:3)
at r.handle (jquery.js:3)”
Here’s a picture:

We’re almost there Calin! If there is something wrong that I could fix on my end, that would help in troves. Also, I am a developer myself, so if there is something specific in the backend that needs a tweak it’s entirely possible for me to get my hands dirty.
Cheers,
-C
I’ve followed the div codes, and while using the all devices and/or mobile code. My ads aren’t showing on mobile.
Im on the most updated everything.
Can you assist?
Hey there,
I’ve just updated my site https://tucumanactualidad.com/ and I can see it is not working well Mobile…
Is there anything I should look into, any setting?. So far everything seems to be green and updated properly…
PHP version on server is now 7.4 and no critical message on system status.
I have no clue what could be the problem.
Also, is Version 10 still using the WPBakery Visual Composer?, because I see you have now your own tagDiv Composer, and if the WPBakery isn’t used anymore, I’d like to remove it.
Thank you for your help.
Update: I have a workaround if someone else is having this same issue.
File: /woocommerce-memberships/includes/Restrictions/Posts.php.
Function: public function handle_restriction_modes() {
If Statement: if ( ‘hide’ !== $restriction_mode || $is_rest_api_request ) {
// ensure the restricted post content data is persisted even when third parties try to filter it
//add_filter( ‘the_content’, array( $this, ‘handle_restricted_post_content_filtering’ ), 999 );
Comment out the “add_filter” and then Woocommerce Membership plugin will display the restricted content properly with Cloud Libray Template.
I Will update when I have a proper solution. Looking to add this as a snippet so updates to files won’t affect this alteration.
OK, Vlad.
Thanks for the update.
Is the opposite possible? Like, can I hide a category tag?
