I have been unable to edit posts, I guess this must have happened from the last update.
I have gone through several checks to now discover that the problem happens only when I have Tagdiv composer active. Then edit posts gives me only a white page.
However, if I disable it, then I am able to edit posts but I cannot keep it disabled as all my posts gets distorted.
Please consider this very urgent.

I would like to ask if it is safe to update Newspaper and WordPress to current versions, since I know by reference WordPress 5.3 has a problem with the current version of BuddyPress 5.0.0, which has not been updated yet for the new version of WP.
These are my oudtated versions:
Wordpress 5.2.4 (newest 5.3)
Newspaper 9.8 (newest 10.1)
AMP 1.4.0 (newest 1.4.1)
bbPress 2.5.14 (newest 2.6.1)
Orbit Fox Companion 2.8.10 (newest 2.8.13)
Is it OK for me to update WP, theme, and plugins now? Will the BuddyPress not render an error message in WP backend?
If so, in which order should I update (WP, theme, plugins)?

I updated to Newspaper 10 and am not using the Standard Pack. Modifying TD Composer Plugin does not seem to work.

Hi. We have updated the theme but we still have the problem.
OK, updated to 10.1 and seems to have fixed it now. I’m using ShortPixel to compress images and convert to WebP. Perhaps there was an issue with WebP in version 9?
Thank you, Simion. I understand the process of translating the pages but it seems that WPML does not recognize the elements on the page to allow me to translate existing pages in English into Chinese.
Working with WPML’s support team, they believe the issue is that the shortcode used by elements in the TD Composer is not being recognized by WPML and that I will need to add code in the WPML XML Editor in order to make this work. Did WPML work before without requiring this additional step in the past? Did this change after the recent update to the Newspaper 10 theme? I only ask because I’m hoping there is a simpler path to resolving this then following steps in their support article.

I seem to be having an issue with featured images and the media library. Featured images can be uploaded as usual to a post but when I click ‘update’ the image disappears entirely and is removed from the media library.

I updated to version 10.1 but delete 3 (of 19) categories. The content redirects to the Default WordPress Category.

From what i can see you are using the Newspaper v9.8, after this version appear the Instagram made some changes and it was not longer work correctly, in order to fix this you’ll need to update the theme to Newspaper X.

Unfortunately for the moment the “Limit post number” is global, maybe this option will can be set individual in the coming updates.
The only option is the on mentioned by you, to hide the flex on mobile and set a new one.

First of all kudos to the amazing update. We have recently upgraded to Newspaper X without much hiccups and it is really awesome.
We would like know is there any feasibility of restricting (not showing) ads on specific posts. At the moment we are using a plugin to tackle this situation but for mobile theme there no compatibility.

I’m using default template style 6 for my posts. I’m having an issue with the display of the top image. Few months ago it started to show sometimes. Since the last update it seems permanent. The image does not fit the container, but leaves a grey bar at both ends, left and right. How can I fix this?

I have a problem with Newspaper theme’s compatibility with Yoast SEO plugin. After the update, the plugin does not detect the links, the number of words in real time, or the alt attributes of the articles. It was working fine before update.
A request to kindly look into this and rectify the same.

The best way to update the Newspaper Theme is to delete the current Newspaper Theme version and TagDiv Plugins and after that you can install the new version.
