I just saw that the themes registration is gone. Now that I’ve entered the Envato code, it says “thank you very much for registering”, but then the system status again says that the theme is not registered.
how can I reactivate the theme?
Hi,
So I just updated the newspaper theme, and I got an error on my homepage. My blog is : https://kadungcampur.com

Then when I want to check my homepage using the tagdiv composer on Page menu, I got this error :

I’ve already updated the plugins from Newspaper that I used, ie. tagdiv composer and tagdiv newsletter.
Any helps would be appreciated.
PS : I am not a technical person.
Hi, I am having the same issue. I checked all the “Requirements for Newsmag” and updated the php version and a few other settings, but the problem persists. Can you help?

Hi everyone,
New to newspaper theme, very nice so far, and very meticulously done !
I’ve just realize that with the tagDiv composer I can create page in the front end, I can create or modifie templates for pages, post etc..
But I can’t use the TagDvi composer to create post in the front end ? Am I right ?
If it’s the case, it’s a big shame no ? Is there any plan for an update to be able to create post with the TagDiv ?
Many thanks
David
Hello,
I’d like to suggest you to add a “content after post” section on your theme. The thing is, many of us offer services on our sites and the only space we have to do so is using the “ad box” at the end of post (which would be fine, at first).
But it becomes a problem when I realized that
1. when I type the font comes in a whole different pattern that I use on my posts, so I’ll need to use css on that somewhere
2. I don’t have an option at the end of every page/post where I can REWRITE over that adbox in case I want to advertise something different (for instance, on every post now there are tour options to amsterdam (which is my main subject, so it’s fine), but when I wrote about Madrid I wish I could choose for that post tour options for madrid instead)
Could you think of working on something for the next updates? Meanwhile, can you offer me any option to go around that? I’ve even found a plugin that looks like exactly what I’m looking for (so you can take a look and understand better what I mean in case I wasn’t clear enough), but the price is just outrageous: https://codecanyon.net/item/content-after-posts-wordpress-plugin/7972736?sso=1
Thank you very much!
Envato Market plugin is the automatic update method that I am currently leaning towards using.
However, I just want to clear a few things up. From the three update methods here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/, Method C, the Envato Market plugin update seems to be the only one in which I will not have to temporarily disable my site.
-Is this correct so far, update method C will not affect the the current running status of my site in any way it will just update the theme files (that is if everything goes right)? nothing on my site will be changed only the theme files will be updated right?
– Things like my custom CSS, transparent header settings, background image, and so on will not be reset?
All I would then need to do after the update is to update the plugin themselves?
Thanks,
Hi! Ah that’s a pity, that’s excactly what I need, too.
Might you provide a child theme code snippet – to filter mega menu posts by alphabetic order?!
This functionality is available for mostof the other blocks – so I hope it will come for mega menu in a future update soon ;). Thanks!
Hello Team,
My Adsense ads Impression/Clicks has dropped significantly after theme update and mobile plugin installation.
I am using inbuilt theme ad blocks for Adsense code insertion in my blog post.
Please have a look https://www.expert-market.com and help me to fix this.
Thanks,
i have updated 9.6 & want to show last Modified Date in Single Post, can anyone help me? how to set in theme pannel?
Hello,
I recently updated to Newspaper latest version and having problems with ad displays. I run an online journal/magazine. Even the earlier version 9.1 had the same issue. Let me outline the issue.
1. On my Home Page, just before the Featured Article/Slider, etc and below my masthead/Header, I have enabled the Header ad and placed the Google code properly. The thing is sometimes, the ads show up and sometimes they don’t
2. On the same Home Page, I have placed one ad in the middle of page. This NEVER displays.
3. On the same Home Page, I have placed one ad BEFORE the footer. This NEVER displays. I have used the “AdBox” element in the TD Composer.
4. On individual articles page, I have the following ads:
— Header Ad
— One ad BEFORE the article starts
— One inline ad (I used the code on the Inline Ad in the theme panel)
On individual articles page, the end-of-article ad displays always.
On the mobile version, ads seem to be working properly.
Please help so that ALL the ads that I have set up will display correctly.
Thanks so much!
Hi all,
After you make the update please check if theme plugins are active, usually tagDiv Composer will activate automatic but it needs to be checked, also if you are using cloud template update the tagDiv cloud library and activate it.

If there is still a problem, please provide some screenshots with the settings you are made for this.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Please update the theme to the latest version of it because you will use the AMP only for post pages. Check the documentation from here -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
https://www.screencast.com/t/wSjL5QGiJVBK
Hope this helps!
Thank you!
Hi there, when i try to update the theme i get the following error:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method td_api_header_style::_helper_show_header() in …/wp-content/themes/Newspaper-child/header.php:37
UPDATE: fixed:
I noticed the header.php is totally different (the change on our side was loading some custom fonts in the header). After updating this file, all is well now.
Thanks! Ed’
Hi,
1. That depends on what the page contains, maybe other factors if used, like row stretching, backgrounds, CSS styling. Best way to check if there are issues would be to copy the homepage content from the backend, into a test page and edit that with WPBakery. Do what is needed, then update and view the page.
A simple page containing normal theme blocks and grids (no flex or cloud library elements) should work just as well with both builders.
To avoid any possible issues it would be best to use just one page builder at all times, if possible.
2. This I can’t say exactly, I have seen users that use such extensions for WPBakery. In some cases there were some issues, but I don’t remember which add on was it about or what the problem was.
If it is possible, ask them if they have a trial version or if they can provide a refund in case there are problems. Be sure to test while the tagDiv composer is inactive, there could be conflicts.
Thanks
Hi,
If you make an update to the theme all settings from theme panel will remain, only the changes from theme files will be override, so first you’ll need to make a full backup to your website.
If you are using child theme please deactivate it until you make the update.
Yes you can use it, just please make sure that you make the settings for envato plugin like in our documentation -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ ( also if you are using the envato plugin for update is possible sometimes to not synchronize with the last updates and you’ll need to make the update manually.)
After theme update please check the theme plugins to be updated and activate in specially tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library if you are using elements from cloud -> https://www.screencast.com/t/aNq9x55w
Were Recommend to make the update manually, because in this way you’ll get from themeforest the last theme with all files ( plugins ) and documentation.
Thank you!
Hi,
Is possible that Google Ad Manager to be implemented in our theme in future’s updates, but I can not say this for sure, from what I know this one is on our list, but when will be implemented, if will be implemented I do not know.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
@denisvs I tested this again, works fine for me. That code can be entered in the functions file, at the end – http://prntscr.com/n30mul
Before the code – http://prntscr.com/n30n66
After the code – http://prntscr.com/n30ncd
Copy it as it is and paste it in the functions file at the end, shouldn’t create any problems. This code will just update the post view count for all posts, to a specified value.
The 502 error could be shown in these cases – https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-502-bad-gateway-error-in-wordpress/
Maybe it was just a coincidence.
Thanks
Hi,
That demo doesn’t have the AMP plugin active, it can be checked out on mobile as it has the mobile theme active. The AMP variant will look exactly the same.
Now after the latest update, to test AMP you can add to the URL this /?amp we have updated the documentation – https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
There is an issue with the AMP comments currently, meaning that the fields of the comments don’t have a description or placeholder – http://prntscr.com/n2zr14
For this issue there is a quick fix in this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-and-mobile-theme/
I could take a look if there are problems when using our mobile theme and AMP. Please post a link to the website so I can test with the validator.
Thanks
Okay I actually fixed the builder problem (I didn’t realize that when I did the update I hadn’t added the new plugins, that is fixed now). It still won’t save though
I am using Hostgator business cloud hosting and while I am trying to install cryptocurrency price ticker widget plugin. There is no option to install and there is an error for php update. I have updated my PHP up to 7,1 but facing the same issue. Can you please tell me the exact WordPress requirement of This plugin in newspaper crypto news theme.
Hey, so I’ve been having a problem with this theme where the theme settings under ‘Theme Panel’ don’t save. When I hit save it just perpetually acts like it’s loading something, so I tried purchasing 6 months of support to get the newest update of the site in hopes that it would fix the problem, but it didn’t, and now the entire site builder has broken.
Can anyone help me figure this out?
I just updated to the latest version. I updated the mobile plugin and Downloaded the WP Amp plugin. When I view the site on mobile, it looks fine, but when I add “amp” to the back of the URL as I have in the past to test amp, it’s broken. It shows hyperlinks instead of the social share icons, and my footer is now a bunch of code and HTML. See the URL here: http://goingfor2.com/running-back-perfect-pairings/?amp
I am also having this issue on a clean install updtated from a recent previous verison, I cannot edit, modify or even select existing blocks created before the update.
I posted this in the comment section of the theme on themeforest but no one answered me. Hoping for more success here. Ever since I updated the template 2 days ago, I have these “wp_booster error” messages in certain places in my site and now the footer copyright portion is missing!
These two errors are present directly beneath the author box within every post:
wp_booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: tdc_state is not set.
wp_booster error:
Missing parameter: ‘file’
These three errors are present within the footer block:
wp_booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: tdm_sub_footer_template_1 is not set.
wp_booster error:
td_api_base::get_key : a component with the ID: tdm_sub_footer_template_1 Key: file is not set.
wp_booster error:
The path of the template id: tdm_sub_footer_template_1 not found.
I ask the question above because I have been wondering why the theme hasn’t been updating for a few months now. It seems crazy that I have to uninstall the theme to update it, so will the automatic method above work. Or is there better automatic update method you recommend? Also, why can’t this theme be updated as other themes are?
