This is most likely a plugin conflict. Maybe a certain plugin that you use became incompatible with the current version of theme or you could be using a child theme that you have not updated. Child themes are not update proof.

I updated the theme recently to version 9.5, but I did not seem to have been successful because I do not see features such as Header Builder.
Moreover, after the update every time I get in the Composer I get the notification “The current content has not been created by TagDiv Composer!”.
What can I do to fix the problem?

If you did not make and changes in theme files, then the best way will be to remove the theme and install it again ( if you make some changes then is possible to get this error from there ), if you are using child theme please deactivate it until after you make the update/installation

1. All the code that you set in theme panel will be keep after you make the update, only the changes that you make in theme files will be override, the settings from theme panel will remain.

2. I do not quite understand what you want to move from sub-domain on domain, only the cloud templates or all the website.

I’m using newspaper journal variation. Jetpack plugin is crashing site. The wp-admin and coming soon website is offline. If I deactivate jetpack plugin then everything goes online. Could you please say is there something what I can do? This happened yesterday and I was not changing anything at the moment. It could be that there happened automatic update and that is the reason.

I just updated to Newspaper 9. My site has been live for over a year or two using Newspaper 8. Everything is fine EXCEPT the search icon in the menu bar (upper right corner) is not visible. If I click on that empty spot, it open a search text box, but I can’t see a search icon / magnifying glass — so customers would never see that. FYI – the search icon if visible in the mobile site, though I don’t care much for how it is working. That is an improvement however because before the new version, the search icon DID NOT WORK at all in Newspaper 8 for me. Thanks for any help you can provide.

For some reason both “Text with Title” or “Column text” blocks don’t load the text from the wp editor. In fact there’s no save option on the wp editor window, so I’m not sure it’s suppose to add automatically when I close the wp editor.
Repro steps.
1. Add “Text with Title”
2. Click “Edit content”; I see the wp editor.
3. Type the text and I close.
4. The text block is not updated.

1) We have custom code inside the Theme Panel Settings. Do we have to create a child theme to keep it after future theme updates? Or is it ok to stay in the Theme Panel?
2) How can we move designs from the sub-domain to the actual domain? Is it ok to do it with the cloud library?

1. Yes, you can add a different using the header builder, you need to import a hearer template or build a new one -> https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-newspaper-theme-9-5-update/
If you want to have a global header you’ll need to set it in theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/bZYGcjg7KRD and all pages/categories/posts that do not have set an individual header will have that header set.
For individual header you’ll need to edit that page/post template/category template… and set in it the header that you want, and on this posts/categories templates or page will be set that header ( the individual will override the global header for that post/page ).
So in order to use it on post, or you set a global header our you use a single post template from tagdiv Cloud Library and set on it a header after that you set the template on posts.

What I said is that … BEFORE SOME OF THE LAST UPDATES OF THE THEME I copied and pasted the text from another website and in my article were correctly displayed images with external link. (from the site of origin).
NOW NO MORE and I do not understand why.
I put an old site backup (last year) on temporary space, and when I copy / paste the images I see them.
Something has changed after some updates and this is what I would like to solve.
The need to insert images manually one by one is a nuisance that I did not have before …

Sorry I found Tagdiv composer was not activated. I activated it and updated the cloud library and its fixed.
Could you add a feature to enable “Last Updated” time stamp for the post and pages? This is an extremely useful feature to let the reader know that the article is recently updated.
