The Slider Revolution bundled in the most recent available copy we have via theme forest is 6.7.10. We used a link on the forum provided by TagDiv to update our plugin to 6.7.12 last time. Will a new link be provided or will we have to wait until the next theme update? We are a bit concerned as WordFence has indicated there is a security vulnerability in 6.7.12.
We do not need a copy of WPBakery.

Well, it seems to working today as it usually does. But, FYI, “when you upload an image in media this should be updated in full size” isn’t true for featured images – the full/thumb option is not in that screen. Only when you insert an image into the post. In this case, it was showing the size was 1280 width, but the actual featured image was 300 width. I don’t know what broke it or what fixed it. But today it works. If in the future it happens again, I’d like an accurate answer to the question.

You are using the mobile theme, and the logo text is black, the same as your mobile header color. Either change the logo from the theme panel or uninstall the mobile theme and use the other two mobile versions:

Normally, when you upload an image in media this should be updated in full size and the theme and WordPress will create some thumbs and those can be added instead of the full image size – https://imgur.com/UVlTXgy
Also, there were a few cases when an extra plugin was interfering (most of the time is an image optimizer plugin).

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
1. I can see that you use the Mobile theme right now and you can try to add the shortcode in the mobile editor(check documentation) if this is from an external plugin.
2. Unfortunately, there are no options to display the CPTs as in the cloud templates. You can do that only with custom code. For customization and other services, you can contact our custom work team here: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/.
3. If you will use cloud templates, then there are some settings of the “Header live search” to specify the taxonomies, create some results sections and exclude posts/pages.
4. Unfortunately, we have no design idea for an alert box. But you can use a modal popup to build the one you like: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/ You can trigger it as a button or page and it can open automatically or by clicking the button.

You need to update the theme, you should download the latest version of it from the Theme Forest account and download it.
I recommend that you update the theme manually https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ via FTP/cPanel/File Manager, also if possible disable extra plugins during the theme update to avoid any problems that may arise and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look. You can try to update the theme on a staging website.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesn’t appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.
Change admin passwords and delete admin accounts you are not familiar with;
– Delete any weird/unknown plugins;
– Delete the weird/unknown themes;
– Clean unfamiliar Theme Panel injected code (example – https://i.imgur.com/4q70kCv.png);
– Clean WordPress files (example – https://i.imgur.com/stJCqiK.png)
Please block /wp-json/tdw/save_css
If an attacker wants to target this URL /wp-json/tdw/save_css they can do so. Even if the website uses a different theme, the attacker can still try that URL. We could add an option to be able to enable/disable the Live CSS, it will be considered. But for now in order to remove it this can only be done with a modification to the composer plugin. How do I use RSS to populate the post feed rather than write a post every time? Considering all the sections in the newspaper. would I need an RSS for EACH section? I am only interested in having one or two customized written posts with the rest of the paper updated via RSS. Is that possible? I sure hope so.
I had asked about using rss in the newspaper theme I bought. I got an answer but cannot find it. I need to find where pictures are coming from for the posts in the demo. I made a change to one post and while the content is updated the picture that shows in the newspaper that came with the demo still shows and I cannot find where it comes from. I wish there was a tutorial access for the theme. I bought a newspaper theme.

I am getting a 404 right now and I think it has something to do with the URL update to my domain. However, I did want to ask, the demo newspaper theme, is that content static? Will it change? How could I make an RSS feed to some of those posts so they update often? Also, how would I add the screenshots there is no paperclip. can I copy paste here?
OK, I fixed that. Now, having made changes and saved the site, it says it is published, but when I go to view it, it flashes the changed site and shows the demo version. How do I get to see the updates?

Hello, I am trying to update my site aquiahora.com.gt from version 8.0 to 12.x
Every time I try, the site is broken:
1) Post categories disappear: we have 10 categories, but for some reason when we upgrade only 4 appear. Apparently all the articles are still there, but Newspaper decides to put them all on another category.
2) Header, footer and sidebar are gone: for some reason, these are removed from the site. The header is replaced with a section showing the site’s name with a big font, while the sidebar and footer simplu disappear.
