Hi,
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Unfortunately in Newspaper v9.7.3 there is a problem between visual composer and tagDiv Composer, I recommend you to use a previous version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/important-new-update-newspaper-9-7/
Thank you!
How do I hide en element in Visual Composer? I read in an older topic it’s probably because of tagdiv composer and there will be a fix. But it seems the problem still persists? How do I hide elements on Visual Composer now that tagdiv composer is compulsary?
I am running into the same problem. Title tags seem to be missing on all frontend pages after updating to 9.7.3. WordPress 5.1.1 (I’m on a managed hosting platform that doesn’t let me do WordPress updates, they push them through when they are comfortable with them).
SEO site audit reports no title tags, and if you look at the page source you can confirm they are not there. https://eewc.com This is on the frontend only. The backend (dashboard etc…) pages show the title just fine, and do contain the title tag.
I disabled all plugins except TagDiv ones and it had no effect on whether or not the title tag appears in the code.
Please advise ASAP. Don’t want the search engine placement I’ve worked so hard to get to be messed up! I really don’t want to revert to the previous version because then I have to mess with installing that image patch for Visual Composer again.
Thank you,
Le
Hi,
1. Set the sidebar in the page while editing it with WPBakery. Split the row and add a widget sidebar element
– http://prntscr.com/nuqzrv
Here is a small guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
2. I have seen some user using add-ons for WPBakery, these may work or not however. We haven’t made any tests with add-ons for the plugin, so I can’t say for sure.
Maybe they provide a refund in case there are problems, or maybe there is a testing version or limited period of time before actually purchasing.
Thanks
Hi,
I have a problem with the visual composer editor when I use it (version 5.7 delivered with your theme) I have elements that are superimposed on the sidebar. I thought of a problem with Gutenberg so I deleted it but the problem persists. This happens when I use a row divided into two (with a text on the left and a photo on the right, or vice versa).
Would you have a solution?
cordially
Attribute variations are not working for visitors when “Any variation” is used , but working for logged WordPress administrators.
When “Any variation” for a product is used, the visitor can’t make an order.
For example when 2-3 or more different sizes and 10 (more or less) different colors have been added in the admin, and “Any variation” has been used for any of the attributes, on the front-end the visitor can’t make an order. What happens after selecting the desired attribute variations, is an error message, saying that the color variation is required to select.
To Reproduce
Go to: bit.ly/2Eg9wdn , select both attributes and press the Buy button (Купи).

1. https://imgur.com/EJSF2hs (admin)
2. https://imgur.com/paReV7B (selecting variations and pressing the Buy putton)
3. https://imgur.com/UVcdnGu (error)
Expected behavior: I expect the product to be added to the cart.
Wordpress environment: 5.2
Woocommerce environment: 3.6.3
All plugins: Latest version
Tested with all plugins switched off – no difference, the bug is still there
Hi,
Thank you for the kind words, most appreciated.
1. You can find it in the plugins folder, if you download the full theme package from themeforest – https://www.screencast.com/t/MR4APxAXO
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
Once you extract the full package, there will be a plugins folder containing the WPBakery plugin as well – http://prntscr.com/nssgp7
We will provide updates for the plugin when the theme is updated, and updates are available for it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
2. Can’t say if it works or not, we didn’t make any tests with that plugin. The revolution slider provided with the theme works just fine, we include some demo sliders for it as well, these can be imported and used
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
Maybe the author of that plugin provides a demo version of the plugin that you can make tests with. Or maybe they provide a refund in case you can’t use it with the theme.
If you have more questions, let us know.
Thanks
Hello,
I am facing an issue related to tagdiv composer and newspaper theme.I have an application in which i had use the theme “Newspaper(Version : 8.1.2)” and now recently i have updated my theme as well as plugin also and after updating theme the new version of Newspaper theme is 9.7.2 due to of that i had seen that my application is crashed so can you please help me that how can i overcome from this issue. and which changes that i need to do in my application. Previously i have used visual composer plugin for page design but after update theme there is mandatory for activate tag div composer plugin. So when i activate both the plugins then i am facing issue related to design and related to some functionality.
Previously i had override some files and functions from parent theme version(8.1.2) and now i was updated my theme. But now i haven’t seen this files and function in parent theme but i have seen these on tag div composer plugin. So you have moved this files from parent theme to plugin and now i am facing issue with this confusion. and when i activate both the plugin (visual composer and tag div composer) then i am facing issue so i wan’t use tag div composer plugin and i want to remove from mandatory so suggest me how to overcome from all the issues.
Hello !
I reproduced your styles and I think the best element to add your functions is to use a Column text instead of Display Posts Plugin. Also make sure that you are entering the shortcodes in Visual Mode.
Thank you !
Hi,
That field is used by tagDiv composer to mark pages that are manually modified in tinyMCE. We show a warning when a page is modified manually or with visual composer. It’s name is inspired by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dirty_bit
Thank you!
Hi, I have some pages designed with tagdiv composer, and since I have the mobil + amp plugin enabled, I have to use the text editor for mobile so that when they enter mobile devices you can see content.
The problem I have is that it does not jump lines, I have tried forcing it with <br/> but when I return to the visual mode, these br disappear and I return to the same thing. Attached two screenshots, one of how this is writing the text and another how it looks on smartphone
Text editor
Screenshot of the mobile. Probe on several devices and looks the same
Can you help me? I’ve tried all the options and it always looks the same
Hi,
What builder did you use to create the page? If you edit the page with the builder it was built with, does it look properly?
From what I can see those are column text elements which contain images, entered in a full row (not split into more columns).
The latest update consists or some modifications to the theme
– https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
Now the tagDiv composer has to be active in order to have the same functionality as before. Does it look different if you deactivate the tagDiv composer as a quick test? Also try to update the WPBakery plugin to 5.7, it is included in the latest theme package
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thanks
After installing your fix, the images are again showing at the correct size and with the shadow in the pages created with the Visual Composer single image element. However, as was the case before the fix, I am still unable to change the image used by the single image element, unless I go into text editing and change the image number. You might want to look into this as well.
Hi, I have a problem with using the WordPress Popular Posts plugin ( )
This is the error that appears when I insert the widget in the sidebar
Error: cannot ajaxify WordPress Popular Posts on this theme. It's missing the id attribute on before_widget (see register_sidebar for more).
I wanted to use your 7 DAYS POST SORTING visualization system but with the Wp rocket plugin it doesn’t show me the data.
Do you know how I can solve it?
I installed newspaper 9 and downloaded fastmag post template. I added couple block items on the sidebar, but featured photos do not load on some posts.
I use w3 total cache for caching, and visual composer to create posts.
Have tried so many things and this is not helping my website at all.
Hi,
1. That is possible with some CSS. A code like this will center align the title for that smart list style – http://prntscr.com/njx38s
.td_smart_list_8 .td-number-and-title {
text-align: center;
}
It will align it regardless of using a sidebar or not.
2. A post can have only one featured image set. Such a result visually could be achieved if for example you use a cloud template and enter an image element in the post template, and position it over the featured image. Like in this quick example
– http://prntscr.com/njx65m
But that image will be the same for all posts that use that post template, it won’t be a different image unless more post template are created each with a different image.
Thanks
Hi,
What builder did you use to build the page? From what I can see the single image elements don’t display properly, it may happen if you used WPBakery. This is a known issue and will be fixed, it happens when both the composer and WPBakery plugins are active.
A fix is provided in this topic, for the time being
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/single-image-widget-settings/
Sorry for this inconvenience. Please try and check if the single image elements display correctly.
Also be sure to update WPBakery to the latest version
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
That is because that page was build with tagDiv Composer using elements from tagDiv Cloud Library not with visual composer, if you want to use that page you need to edit it with tagDiv Composer, or you need to create a new one using visual Composer.
From Visual Composer to tagDiv Composer -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
That demo use single post templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, you need to click on edit template -> https://www.screencast.com/t/rAaKuTD09 click on content on row and stretch the row -> https://www.screencast.com/t/RIp6nzQ2 on “Stretch row and content”. this will make the content on post to be full width, please do not use the visual composer on templates or pages tat gas build with tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hi,
No need to activate the WPBakery and Revolution slider plugins, bundled plugins don’t need a license or activation code.
An article about it here – https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins?_ga=2.148850615.1240581804.1556603480-1715937315.1492175355
Simply install the plugins and use them, ignore the activation messages that may appear.
When there will be updates for the theme we will include the latest version of the bundled plugins at the time – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Thanks for the response Simeon, I use Newspaper 9 and have relied on the awesomeness of the block builder in the Virtual Composer. It appears it was a conflict between the editor and the Events calendar plugin
I have built a citizen journalism newspaper site, a budding platform of sorts, especially in the entertainment and local arts
I have been using Advanced Post Manager for their 11 pre set templates, especially the video option to replace Feature Pic and WP Edit Pro for advanced WYSIWYG functionality.
This has worked well for some years…now Gutenberg got thrown in…needless to say it is disabled.
I installed TagDiv Composer and it killed my WYSYWIG set up and broke the WPBakery layouts, so I deleted it.
I need to understand do I need those 2 plugins? Does Visual Composer have those extra WYSIWYG capabilities?
I’m trying to stay composed but site has been plaaying up
Hi Calin,
Thanks very much for the reply. The code works for the text buttons but the Visual Editor buttons seem to be adopting a style from elsewhere.
I used BBP Style Pack to turn on the visual editor in BBPress – which is usual but the buttons are taking style from somewhere else and the code you kindly supplied above only affects the text editor buttons.
Any idea where I can set them or what the css might be?
Many thanks.

Hi Tagdiv
I used the automatic update process you suggest at C. 6 point (automatic update) of this page https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ but the result is the same. Theme broken & complete mess.
The problem is customizations we made in our Child theme that are not compatible with the new 4.8 version.
We need this kind of customitazions and we have paid money to a Pro to get it. And know you told us that are not compatible!!!
Tell us how to solve the problem without spend other money please.
About TagDiv Composer
We built our magazine with the previuous version of Newsmag Theme with Visual Composer and we like it. See Fabrizio Azzali review on your theme page.
In the lasts theme versions you use TAG DIV visual composer. We do not love visual editors. It is possible to delete TAG DIV Composer plugin from installation?
Hi guys,
We’re used to be working on WPbakery and we’re new with the Tagdiv composer.
Is there a way we can just use the visual composer other than the tagdiv?
We installed the WPbakery but it still shows tagfiv codes http://prntscr.com/ngrhg9
We really like the design and we just wanted to use the builder we’re used to.
Thank you! 🙂
