The homepage when you are using the mobile theme will display you a Big Brid with 3 posts which come from your Featured Category sorted by latest and not RANDOM and then you will see the latest articles which display all the latest posts. Also, please notice that the mobile theme will do not render any Visual Composer shortcode than just only these two ->Big Grid Mob 1 and Mob 2 for latest articles modules. For your Page X and Page Y, you will do not get any content because you do not add it in Mobile Editor like this -> http://screencast.com/t/JRHwMcXY
On our video here -> http://screencast.com/t/BwWcHpUNk we wanted to highlight the sticky menu functionality. As you can see, there appear some blocks but it’s only for default mobile mode and not for the mobile theme because, at the moment, mobile theme does not render the blocks. On the future, we will make some improvements in this regard and we will add more option for our mobile theme because now it has very basic structure.
Unfortunately, we cannot say for sure where it is will be because this will depends only by our developers.
So, if you are not happy with our mobile theme and customizability for it, you can simply disable the mobile plugin and the theme will be switched to the normal/default mobile mode.

Please notice that the Big Grid 3 has not slide function but only static. So, if you want to achieve the slider effect, please notice that you will have to use the Big Grid Slider from Visual Composer in order to achieve as you wish, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Dffb2hgOR4 and then please ensure that you category filter has enough posts.

2. The functionality of search buttons is the same, the only difference is in layout. However the response time may be influenced by how well your site is optimized and how fast queries are made.

3. We always include in theme’s path last version of Visual Composer available when the update is released. You can’t directly download Visual Composer from themeforest unless you bought it. Currently we test V 4.12 and after everything is ready a new update will be released.
4. I’ve checked your site and you’re using the default thumb for block 6: http://screencast.com/t/jPzMgHEOkcn if you want tu use a higher value for the thumb make sure that after the code is modified you regenerate the thumbnails.

Please notice that you can use the Visual Composer for posts but please keep in mind that this is not tested with the theme and probably it could need to do some additional customizations for a better look. So, if you want to get rid of it this, please notice that you will have to switch to another page template. If you want a completely blank page to use as a landing page, there is no such option in our theme unfortunately. We can provide a custom one via email but we have not tested it with visual composer. You can make a request for it via email at contact@tagdiv,com and we will provide it there.

First of all, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
This theme behaviour regarding on hover on mobile it seems to come from your untested plugins which interact with the theme and which might cause a lot of unknown issues. Also, the problem which you have mentioned regarding on zoom in might come by some ads which are not correctly set (if you are not using the AdSense code and if you are using other ads and these are not added with div method might appear some behaviour like this) -> for more information about this method you should consult this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/

Hi,
Unfortunately it seems you have issues in your wordpress installation. This unfortunately is not theme related and falls beyond what the theme support can offer you. Please test newspaper without any plugins as plugin conflicts can also cause all kinds of problems.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
If you still get errors, please switch to a wp default theme and see if you still have these issues.

Our latest version of the theme is Newspaper 7.1.1 and the right version for required plugins are -> Visual Composer 4.11.2 and Social Counter 4.1.
As you can see, all the plugins are in constant development. Each plugin will have to be checked with our theme for a good working and this process it may take a while. For example, the latest version of Visual Composer is 4.12 and the latest version of the plugin which has been tested with our theme is 4.11.2. In the future, after our developers will check this latest version of Visual Composer with the theme and they will find that the theme does not need to do some adjustments for, we will release an update with the latest version of Visual Composer (4.12). Until we will release the update with these latest versions you will have to ignore these messages.
So, please notice that if you want to have the latest version of the Visual Composer, you will need to have the additional license of this plugin and also, we cannot say for sure if this version of Visual Composer will work 100% with the theme because this version it is in testing.

Hi,
I updated to newsmag 3.0 and found out the mobile menu has changed (I use fashion demo).
(1) How can I edit the mobile menu window (the window after clicking menu on mobile)? (the default background is kind of purplish with all social media button being shown)
(2) Can I do something with search? It seems the searching process from new search kinda slow and redundant.
Let’s say I’m a reader. There will be a new mobile search window after clicking the button. After I enter the keyword, need to wait for result to be shown on that window. But then the window closing and bringing me back to the result page (not on search window anymore).

It seems those things are easily done from the theme panel if I use newspaper theme. How about on newsmag?
(3) I wonder how to keep updated whether a new visual composer update is ready to download? (Usually I wait for the plugin to tell me if a new update has come, but I realize need to wait for tagdiv crews to put it on test first)

Social icons were not designed to be displayed in main menu and to achieve that you’ll need some customization in theme’s files. Basically you have to edit the file corresponding with header style used and adapt the code. Also you’ll need some css to configure the layout.
This is a complex task which require lots of customiations in order to be achieved. Unfortunately we cannot offer custom work so if you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
To hide a specif column on mobile you can add a class for it in Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/jEmnnTLxr then use it in css like here:

Please ensure that you have updated your theme to the latest version of it (Newspaper 7.1.1, Visual Composer 4.11.2 and Social Counter 4.1) only through FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Visual composer had a few issues with version 4.5 of WP and it needs to be updated. The latest version of the plugin we provide is 4.11.2 Please download the theme from themeforest again and install the plugin from the main theme archive. Make sure that you have fully installed the latest version of the theme using the FTP method, because this is the surest one in this regard. Also, please ensure that you are using the latest version of the required plugins -> Visual Composer 4.11.2 and Social Counter 4.1. If you have installed and if you are using some untested plugins with our theme, please try to disable all of them and rule out the conflicting plugins. If your problem is still there after this, please try to make a new clean install from scratch with the latest version of the theme and see how it will work with the default settings. Clear all your caches and check again.

If you want the same content like you have on desktop, please disable Mobile Theme plugin.

Hi,
This issue is due to the fact that the theme does provide a black version, but visual composer elements are stand-alone and are not affected by the theme style. THe masonry grid is one of these elements. Styling is added by visual composer and the text is being changed due to the black demo. Visual composer elements do not know which style you use so the color cannot change based on the demo installed. Unfortunately the masonry element has no background options. In this case you need to use a css trick to do it.
Please use this code in the theme panel custom css code:
