Hello,
I think the WPML causes the issue because you used a string transition, and you don’t have a cloud template for each language.
Please try the follow steps:
You need to translate the English (original language) the template for each language in part – https://i.imgur.com/CDmeHCf.png you should have them for each language cloud template – https://i.imgur.com/4agmUtg.png
A much simpler and faster alternative is to duplicate the cloud template you want to use in another language, edit it and select the desired language – https://i.imgur.com/z1CqgBo.png (edit the name) – https://i.imgur.com/dPX8ROs.png – https://i.imgur.com/Lc81IgP.png This method needs to be used to translate all cloud templates.
The pages are created with tagDiv Composer which is a page builder, when WPML is used it cannot translate everything that was built with the page builder and must be edited for each language separately. Please open the page in the editor and click on translate – https://i.imgur.com/TXH6y1c.png. After, if you duplicate the template, you can edit it to change the logo, menu, and whatever you want.
When you make the corrections, make sure you are on the page with the language you are editing, and if you use the cache, or object cache, please clear it.

Nope, we didn’t assign a cloud template to a category after deleting it
Thanks to you 🙂

Did you use the WPML plugin? Did you assign a cloud template to a category after you deleted it?

You can select how many languages you want from that plugin. You can also use other plugins, like GTranslate, but this one, WPML, is tested with the theme.

By trial and error, I found out that when the WPML module is enabled, pagination stops working. I have two versions of the site. The main language is Ukrainian. The additional language is Russian. It does not work on the Ukrainian version. Pagination works on the Russian version. Please tell me how to fix it?
1. I imported the RTL Default Cloud template, i renamed it to Home For my Arabic language, i also selected Arabic from WPML. Question: where can i find this home page file or template in my theme?
2. How can i add it to my child’s theme to make sure updates does not change my home page?
3. Should i set it to Global?
4. What does global do?
5. How can i export and import a template to another language?

Hello,
Yes, it translates into only one language. If you want more languages, then you need to use a plugin like WPML https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
Thank you!

Hi,
You can duplicate the footer template, but you need to have a different template for each language.
Yes, you can use the WPML. Please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/issues-with-rtl/
Thank you!
Thanks for the answer, but what do you mean by writing ” import a template individually for each language”. How should I do it in this Newspaper theme? And does the WPML plugin allow to have two language versions of the footer without any problem?
I am using the Newspaper theme. I have a problem with translating the footer using the Polylang Pro plugin. The site uses a ready-made template downloaded from the cloud (FreeNews) and is in two language versions – Polish and English. I can’t set separate translations for each language, because the footer is the same for the Polish and English versions. Is it even possible to do this with this plugin? If not, do I need to switch to WPML? Is it then possible to set it up?

Hello,
1. To add the language switcher in top menu you can you need to edit the homepage and add a column text in top bar – https://i.imgur.com/ZaBlTlX.png – , after that add the shotcode element of wpml menu in column text in text zone – https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-coding-api/shortcodes/ – https://i.imgur.com/hEkL3Lo.png
2. Usually this is a shortcode set in sidebar so what can be done is to go to Appearances > Widgets and remove the language shortcode.
Thank you!

The theme do not have an option for this, but most of the time the multilingual plugin offers this option or it can be used a dedicate ad plugin.

Hi, I’ve found a possible bug using Newspaper together with WPML.
The system looks great, but I have a problem with Account page.
The error message is critical error.
It works in the original language, but it breaks in the translation.
Sorry.
Hello, is there any other free plugin to translate my site? I have seen WPML, and I know you have compatibility with this plugin, but it is a paid plugin.
Hello,
Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly how it works, you just have to figure it out to use it. We recommend WPML https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
Thank you!
