No, you don’t have to buy it again. You can use the same license if you change the domain, Envato specifies that each theme can be used for one active product (site/domain). If you want to use it on multiple sites/domains you’d have to buy a license for each project.

When you update the theme files will be overwritten and you need to re-add your custom modifications to the files.
Using the child theme you can add the modifications there, off course for the supported files, this is an alternative to have to modifications also after you update the theme in future.

If you use the sort order featured is just like you’ve set featured category on block. The Big Grid block has only 5 spots so it doesn’t matter how many articles you have tagged featured, there will be displayed just the latest 5 featured articles. So when you add new featured post, it will be always added to the first spot of the Big Grid.
If you want a different sort order you could create a category to use it only to filter posts on Big Grid and you can change the sort order(alphabetical, popular..).
Another solution to control(how much is possible) the articles for Big Grid is to filter by tag, just add a tag for those specific posts and use option “Filter by tag” – http://screencast.com/t/jWJope3wf8 – http://screencast.com/t/KiFQDQav

If you use the default header style(1) the header ad appears above the menu on mobile device. If you add more custom ads bellow the menu, they will show up bellow the menu also on mobile.
Regarding 10 ads in the sidebar, the sidebar was designed to be displayed after the post content on mobile device so the ads will appear after the content(more accurate bellow the comment area). On page depends how you create it, for example if you use 1 row and add blocks there like this – http://screencast.com/t/jQtOPTV2xW The Sidebar will appear on mobile after the last block element from 2/3 column(in my case block10).
You can create your page and check it, just resize the browser window to see how it looks on mobile.

The theme ad system was designed to work with adsense code, but you cannot add 2 codes in the same spot if this is what you mean.
A solution to have another ad(code) on mobile device will be to paste your code in a custom ad and use do_shortcode function to place it bellow the menu. The main menu is made (td-affix class is added) using javascript code. The blocks were designed to ignore sticky post, so if you change this, the sticky post will not consider post limit(on Big Grid blocks there is not post limit option), sort order and you will need custom modifications for this. I suggest to hire a freelancer to do this task for you as we cannot provide custom work.

Please note that it might take a while until your ads to appear(even a few days) and you can try this also without any plugins active, leave only Visual Composer active, clear cache and check it.
I have checked your site and the adsense code is there and the theme just make it responsive and the ad will fill the available space. You can also test your ad code using a WordPress text widget to place the ad into your page or sidebar, if your ad code works/was approved this widget should display the ad.

You can use custom fields instead of excerpt if you want this. This is how the theme was designed to display excerpt on modules, I guess it will not be changed soon(Newspaper 6 was released just for few months).

What version of Visual Composer you use? The latest version provided with the theme is 4.7.1.1.

Also if it doesn’t work check the browser’s console for errors and/or the error.log file.
