I have checked this and did not found any issues. Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache to make sure that it is not a plugin conflict, then check again. Also you can check this with a default wp theme and see if it works.

@deelauaki We recommend now Wp Super Cache(use default settings) as we made some tests and it behaved better than W3TC. Please try to clear all caches,deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and Wp Super Cache and check again. Also you could try a different cache plugin like ZenCache like Steven suggested.

Do you have this issue only in backend? Please provide more details about this and also your site url so I can take a look. Also disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN.

I’m glad that you solved the issue and I assure you that we tested the Visual Composer plugin with our theme before the release. It is very difficult for us to figure out what causing this issue in this cases that’s why I have demanded wp-admin as I couldn’t managed to replicate it on my side and also did not get any similar reports.

If you have custom modification to the theme’s files you will need to re-add them as when you update the theme these files will be overwritten, but the the styling options you’ve set in the WordPress Theme Customize or settings should not be affected. We use the latest theme version to help our users and I have also check it on my side and did not found any issues with page transition, it is working exactly like on demo.

@proinsurer Do you use the version 4 of the Newspaper? The script was created to import theme settings, rename shortcodes if the user upgrade to version 6 of the theme. If you already have version 6 you don’t have to run the script. As you can see no Newspaper 4 settings can be found in your database, so maybe it is an error with your database. There’s no ideal image size, the modules have thumbs with different aspect ratios and a part of the image may get lost on the cropping process. Anyway the featured image must be at least thumb size used on modules/blocks. You can read more about the featured image size here (it’s from Newsmag documentation but the principles are the same) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/image-size/ You have to do some tests and see what aspect ratio to use, depending what blocks/modules you use most.

The theme doesn’t have an option to fix only a specific widget from the sidebar like the Q2W3 Fixed Widget plugin and we did not test it with the theme so it may be a conflict. You can try to disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer and Q2W3 Fixed Widget, clear cache and see if it works. It may be a conflict with another plugin.

Unfortunately the theme was not tested with this plugin and the plugin was not adapted to work with the theme, so I cannot provide a solution for this. As far as I know you need some custom modifications to translate it using WPML and I suggest to contact the plugin author maybe they can provide a solution.
