Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile version can be delivered instead.

If you had version 7, there would have been a lot of changes up to version 12.6.6, and probably when you did the update, problems would have appeared, such as not activating the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin and so on.
