The problem is that are used two separate elements for login/register.
So, if you want the menu login element, you need to disable the Sign in/join from Theme Panel -> Header -> https://i.imgur.com/YwttygP.png and set the element where in the header mobile.

Please update the theme to version 12.2 and the problem with the hero element will be solved. If possible disable extra plugins during the theme update to avoid any problems that may arise and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look. You can try to update the theme on a staging website.
Please make sure that you don’t have a plugin conflict.

You can use the element Ad Box, and set the element where you want. The code does not need to be auto ads, so the theme will not have control.
The ad box has 3 sections for ads: using theme panel ads -> https://i.imgur.com/KFa9ibl.png, using images/banners -> https://i.imgur.com/MfAPTaE.png and custom code -> https://i.imgur.com/2rh8SuD.png save it and will appear on the post (you can set a shortcode like a shortcode from adrotate plugin or other plugins).
