This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Unfortunately the mega menu does not have a sorting option. The sub-categories will always display alphabetically. You can however sort them by tag like so:

Unfortunately when switching themes you will have to consider that not all of the options you used with your previous theme will work. If you used a certain theme element or a plugin , that doers not men they will still work on another theme. The plugin you mention is not tested and we cannot provide any solution for untested plugins. Sorry. If a plugin is compatible with one theme, it most certainly does not mean it will be compatible with the next. Each theme has it;s own custom code and some plugins work on one theme but do not work on another. Plugins are created for the standard wordpress code. Custom themes on the other hand, have a different, custom code.

That is why it;s called a “related” articles post. The articles must be related. If you want to show other posts, you can try to activate visual composer on posts and add a block to your posts. This however is not tested and could provide mixed results: https://www.screencast.com/t/2JEVrikwJl
As for the post titles, please provide an example as I cannot see the issue on your site.

The first is the home link present in all breadcrumbs and the second is the page name you gave to your page. If your page is named home, then that is the result. If you change it to news for example, it will display home > news.

No, they are not unusual and there are only 2 x home not 3. This happens because you use the name home for your homepage. The first is the site home page link and the second is the page title. If you change the page title it will say: home > page title

The requests depend on the number of visitors you have and on the number of complex elements on your site. If you have lots of blocks with pagination and ajax filters, the requests could go up. A child theme is not update proof. No type of customization is. If you use a child theme it should be updated on each update if he files in your child theme have been modified in the main theme update. We sugest using the child theme that comes with the latest version of the theme.

In most cases a theme will not recognize another theme’s custom shortcodes. Each theme has it’s own shortcodes. If you add shortcodes to your posts from our theme, then another theme will most likely not recognize them as well. Each theme has it’s own rules and it’s own custom code. I can’t say for sure about a css solution. please provide a link to your site so i can inspect it.

I cannot see any categories from the demo on your end though. You must also clear cache after you change settings for them to be seen on the front-end though. Sometimes the host provides a hosting side cache as well.
