Hello,
Post style 8 simply adds your image as a background to the site and shows it through the transparent section at the top: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-2015-awards-all-of-the-best-and-worst-moments-from-the-show/
What this means is that you will have to make your photos widescreen. If a picture is full screen, and almost all of the screens today have a wide aspect ratio, I think it’s common sense, you will need an aspect ratio closest to the majority of the screen resolutions a user can have;. and that is 1920×1080 Most screens today share this resolution. Try to add your images in these dimensions and you will no longer have a problem with this post template.
Thank you!
Hello,
You seem to have made almost all of the important debugging steps except the most important one which I suspect is the culprit. A plugin conflict. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. This issue can be created by the photon feature of jetpack or another plugin that needs access to images.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you try to implement non adsense ads you will have to use this method of implementation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
However you should make sure the ad works at all. Please add the code directly on a post in text mode. Any ad code should also work directly inside the post content. If it doesn’t, it probably means the code is faulty.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please add this code in the theme panel-> custom css box:
.td-read-more a, .more-link-wrap a{
background-color:#ff6c2f
}
Thank you!
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
If you still cannot get it to work properly please provide a link to your site so we can inspect the ad.
Thank you!
Glad it’s working.
Have a great day!
Hello,
The standard envato license specifies you can only use the theme on a single end product: https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard
You will need 3 copies of the theme if you want to use it on 3 separate projects, meaning separete websiotes with different content.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please follow this topic for a solution: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-make-this/
Thank you!
Hello,
The title of the existing blocks can be edited from the page itself or from the widgets area of wordpress depending on the place the block is added to.
This guide should help you edit blocks: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
I already provided an example above exactly for block 9. Block 9 uses module 8.
Move the get_date code above the get_title code like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/OmHOyXUzbg and then add this css in the theme panel-> custom css box:
.td_module_8 .td-post-date{
float:left;
padding-right: 5px
}
Thank you!
Hello,
Sorry but in order to modify a user’s permissions you will have to edit the theme files and change the code so you can add or remove panels for different users. Unfortunately we have not tested this as our theme does not change the default user roles and capabilities of wordpress. Our own custom theme panel is either available or not for a particular user. You cannot make custom parts of it disappear for specific users. It can be done but with the help of a developer.
Here is an example of how the user roles are used in our theme: https://www.screencast.com/t/Timyqw2bD1Lf
They are based on this function: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/current_user_can
Thank you!
Sorry but there is no simple solution for that except by using the mobile theme. It will prove more difficult than it sounds and there is no simple solution we can provide via the theme support. sorry. We suggest you hire a developer/freelancer to help with this customization as we cannot offer any custom work at the moment.
Thank you!
Glad it worked out!
Best of luck on your project!
Hi,
Sorry but we have not tested this type of ad so I can;t say for sure. Please follow google’s implementation instructions as it may need an extra code added in the mobile theme;s head section as most google ads that are not a standard adsense require.
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately not all plugins work with premium themes. If a plugin works on one theme it does not mean it works on all of them. Sorry for the inconvenience but you will have to consider this fact for any further plugin implementations. The only plugins we tested and can assure their functionality are mentioned in the theme plugins section: https://www.screencast.com/t/tGMehuzpLc
If the plugin you want to use is not on the list, then there is a chance the plugin will not work with our theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
The mega menu cannot be sorted ascending or descending unfortunately but the blocks on the homepage can. Please use the block settings to sort your posts inside a block in the preferred sorting order: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hello,
Well since the plugin is not tested I;m not sure if it can translate the mobile menu or not. I cannot provide any specific solution for untested plugins. However you could try to disable the mobile theme plugin and use the theme’s standard responsive version. The mobile theme is more ‘picky’ with plugins. It works with a lot less than the main theme because of it’s custom nature.
Thank you!
Hello,
Do you maybe have a restriction for some countries as I cannot access this one either: https://www.screencast.com/t/OYNrfesiQqY1 It just provides a time out.
I cannot seem to be able to access any of your sites from either device.
Please check your site from different devices.
Thank you!
It is still not showing up on our end. I already clocked on the logo and on categories and I did so again but still there was no issue.
If you are referring to these posts https://www.screencast.com/t/wKsl9TEip, that is NOT an error. You are seeing a theme placeholder image because those posts do not have a featured image set. Please add featured images for your posts so the theme can show a thumbnail instead of the placeholder: https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
Thank you!
Hello,
If you do not have a sub-rating, you can try to use this code in the theme panel-> custom css box:
.td-review-row-stars, .td-review-header{
display:none!important;
}
and then you can translate the ‘summary’ title that is left to maybe: ‘review’ from the theme panel-> translation section https://www.screencast.com/t/JLSGi3NK4xbc and it will display like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/O51OVkHISL8
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hello,
Our theme will not be able to stretch images. It only crops them. If you want to enlarge images, you will have to use a thumbnail upscale plugin to do it.
Thank you!
Hello,
Both visual composer and revolution slider cannot be “activated” using a key as they are free versions and free versions do not have activation keys. Please ignore any at all activation messages from revolution slider and visual composer. You already have full access to the plugin features and you can use it without activation legaly and safely. It’s just a missing condition from the plugin authors for the free versions and we cannot make any changes to the plugins as it will break the license agreement we have with the plugin authors.
Thank you!

Hello,
Please use this guide for title and meta: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/yoast-wordpress-seo-titles-metas-template-variables/ Please keep in mind that you have to make google recrawl your site as the changes are not seen instantloy. Google needs to rescan your site for any change to be visible in the search result
Please also check this guide: https://yoast.com/wordpress-seo/
